Just shy of a year ago, I had a hot water faucet snap at the wall in a small bathroom. I called Len the Plumber precisely because they claim 29 years of experienced professionals, guaranteed quality work and speedy assistance.

The technician took a quite while to arrive, I watched him drive around my area on the GPS tracker they send you, suspiciously taking a long, circuitous route. He arrived 2 minutes past 5pm. I was uncomfortable with the technician's forward social interaction (I am a single mum to a 3 year old) and felt he took a long time to fix the pipe. He cut the wall to access the pipe but then rerouted the pipe 10 inches away from the original location so it stuck out from under the sink. I didn't mind as I was happy to have the fix. I paid over $500 for this work.

What I did not know was that the pipe repair behind the drywall patch was faulty and was leaking, very very slowly, for months and months, into the drywall where the pipe exited to under the bathroom sink. I didn't notice until yesterday, and when I poked at the noticeable, developing bubble on the drywall; it was soft and fell apart. I cut out a small portion of the affected area and found black mold on the backside of the drywall paper. I went ahead and ended up pulling out the drywall patch and a lot surrounding it. Everything was soaked and damp, the drywall was soft and easily fell apart, the paper covered in black mold specks.

I called Len the Plumber and was told that the work was a few weeks past warranty and they will not help remediate the leak in any way and that I am fully responsible to pay for the leak repair, mold removal and drywall repair. The leak is a hidden from view and took months to destroy the drywall on the backside of the wall and eventually bubble on the other side.

This leak was caused by a faulty repair and Len the Plumber is refusing responsibility for a very unprofessional repair job. I am beyond devastated at how unhelpful the company has been. I requested a manager to explain the situation and was told I would get a call back. I have not had a call back. Sadly, I will be following up with the Better business Bureau.

Came for water leak. Technician left due to personal reason. Leaked on repair the next week. Was supposed to be first appt and called to say another tech would come. No show. Would not recommend.

Great technicians, usually provide fair pricing for quick repairs. You may want to shop around for major purchases.

I would avoid this company. I was charged for a job (leaking shower head) that was not completed. The leak started again after 5 minutes of being fixed. I was told by the technician that he could not refund me for the job he didn't complete and had to check with his manager. I would advise that there are more honest companies with integrity out there than this.

What a terrible service! Their quality went down the drain. They charged me over $400 to unstopped the sink, a day later I am having the same problem and they want to charge me again to fix it. There is no professional pride and a poor quality of service! What a shame -- they used to have good attitude and good workers.

My father-in-law is elderly and they are taking advantage of him. They refuse to give him the report for the work they already did but want $9k to repair his sewer line. He made an insurance claim due to the sewage backup into his home but without the report about the cause the claim is being denied. I have called as well as the insurance company and they still refuse to provide us with the report.

I needed a build a bridge water line to bypass a leaking section of the water line in the basement. The material cost should be less than $100. For professional plumber, the time needed is less than two hours.
Len the Plumber came in and quoted me more than $1800. I felt sick in my stomach. I paid them $49 for giving me that estimate and refused to let them do the job.
I had thought I would do it myself. But I decided to see what other plumbers ask for the same job.
Another plumber came in and finished the work for $550. The cost is still higher than I think it should be. But compare to the $1800 quoted from Len The Plumbers, it is a fare price.

Len The Plumbers is TERRRIBLE! DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR YOUR JOB.

After making emergency call on Sunday & confirming an appointment for 8-11am on Monday. I received a text message at 8am stating someone would be here in 25mins. No one showed up, i waited until 11am & had to call Len the Plumber back to be told i was pulled off appts. If i didn't call i wouldve never knew. I think someone at the company should have called me & told me something. This is an emergency in my eyes. After call i was told they could get get someone here within the hour. It's now passed that hour & im trying another company. Len the Plumber dropped the ball

I was a potential new customer. I scheduled an appointment and had more than one call with the company to discuss my needs. My most recent call was the day before the scheduled appointment. I left work early and sat at the property for 3 hours because they were supposed to come within a 3-hr window. No one ever showed up. They didn't even call to tell me they couldn't make it. They were a no call no show. They are a waste of time and I do not recommend.

Update: Then when I call them out, they lie. ""They can't find me"" on Yelp, but they keep calling trying to reschedule. This is a shady company. Now, I'm glad they didn't show.
