Awful service. I scheduled on Friday for an appointment on Tuesday to fix my sump pump. On Tuesday I received a call that the plumber couldn't make it so I rescheduled for Wednesday. On Wednesday an hour and a half into my appointment window I get a call that they don't have a tech in the area that can do sump pumps.

A: The point of scheduling is to make sure somebody is available to do the work.

B: You're plumbers, it's a sump pump. Should be standard, I'm not asking for pipes to be run.

Then the woman on the phone hung up on me.

So much for ""If you need a plumber today, call Len the plumber"" what a joke. Now I need to pay for emergency service from a different company.

They suck. Have called them twice. The first time, they didn't arrive until an hour after the 2pm-5pm window. Charged over $800 to replace a very small piece of leaky pipe.

I figured, maybe, this was one bad experience... so, I tried again. Sink was backed up. Called on Friday morning. Again 2pm-5pm window. No show. No call. ...remained backed up the entire holiday weekend. Sooooooooooooooo pissed off. I could have called anyone one else. Some companies actually want the work. I called another company on Monday... and they seemed to have no problem showing up when they promised.

To be fair, maybe Len the Plumber doesn't suck. They'd actually have to actually show up to suck... so, I guess we will never know.

There are plenty of plumbers in the phone book. You can literally call any one of them at random and get a better result.

these guys are absolutely terrible! don't use them, you will get ripped off. I called to replace my sump pump. a gentlemen showed up at 9:30am. Look a look which took him 10mins. left until noon which he claimed to beed an extra pair of hands. quoted me 2K. Once they pulled the pump out, told me I needed a bigger pump and jacked up the price to now 3500. Seriously! Came back and told me they got me a backup at no cost. Seems like no one had an idea of what they were doing and just came up with random numbers. How is a bit larger pump, same labor costing me an additional 1600. I will warn that everyone to never hire this company for work. Talked to other plumbers after the fact; this job should have been no more than 1500. so livid. can I give zero stars?!?!

Wow. Was looking for a local plumber. I Like their commercials. But, They must be a franchise. They serve a large area. Called for a year old toilet that pops when you sit. Left bolt will not tighten. They took toilet off and found a bad flange. $49 to diagnose. To replace flange and reset toilet was $850 quote!!!! Ridiculous. A year ago, the new Koehler toilet and install was only $650 to begin with. I think they saw my bigger house and tacked on $500. Called my old plumber to fix. Quote was $360. Will never call Lou's again!!!!

I am so disappointed in Len the plumber. I called on Wednesday and was given a 2-5pm appointment. No one ever showed up and when I called at 5 pm, no one had been assigned to my call. By then, no other plumbers were open/had techs to send out because it was after business hours. The earliest someone from Len could come out was the next day, so I had to take another day off work. The plumber did show up and fixed the problem with my water heater. The dispatch woman, Michelle, was lovely. However, yesterday, the same issue with my water heater began again. I called and got an 8-11 am appointment window. It's 10:30 so I call and yet again, no one has been assigned to my call. I am frustrated and very unhappy.

I would not recommend Len the Plumber to anyone simply because they don't show up when they say they will.

Had a leaking hot water heater replace a few months ago only to find the new one is leaking with hanging wires. I called to report it and schedule an appt only to hear from the employee ""how did that happen""? Seriously?
I scheduled the appt for between 8-9am, when nobody showed up I called them to hear ""you canceled your appt last night""? Seriously? Why would I do that if I still have a leak from nobody coming??
After 5 calls to them I was told that I cant speak to a manager and someone will call me back?
Either this is poor training or the wrong people hired, either way its broken.
Will be going back to Horizon to get this rectified.
Cant make this stuff up! Panful!!

Had a boiler pipe leak in January, no heat since we had to turn water off. Len wanted to charge me 700.00 to repair pipe. Called their manager and they said the mechanic negotiates prices. We had him install a couple of other valves before we would pay new price of 550.00. RUN FAR DO NOT CALL THEM. Horizon is better.

Corey Frenzel came to my house in Bear DE. I had to have my pipes replaced. He was professional courteous and extremely knowledgeable and helped me resolve several problem issues that needed to be addressed. I highly recommend Corey Frenzel with Len the Plumber.

Poor service. Save your money and go elsewhere. They will overcharge for small jobs. Unprofessional as well.

I would not recommend using this company. Len the plum has no regard for the customer time frame once the comment has been made. So Len the plumber will just make up any time frame and then cancel it when call you find out is the plumber really going to show up.
