Just want to thank Lemus plumbing for being so responsive and so quick with a gas valve replacement! My dryer of 15 years (I know, great brand) had finally met it's end. I ordered a new washer/dryer and started to prepare the laundry room for delivery. Unfortunately, due to the gas valve not being touched for 15 years, it was completely frozen. I contacted Lemus plumbing concerned I'd need to reschedule appliance delivery. I appreciated the quick response and willingness to replace the valve the following morning so I could meet the delivery timeline. Nice work and the job was so quick too! Thank you!

1). They acted unprofessionally during a visit to fix a toilet

I love these guys! Rafael and his brother (I failed to get his name ?) are fantastic! They responded and worked quickly and efficiently and took care to perform quality work and clean up when they finished. More than fair prices for their work. I can wholeheartedly recommend Lemus Plumbing!

I was in the process of selling my house, i had to do some minor plumbing repairs so i called this company as its a local company from San Marcos and spoke to a man who was very polite and nice. We agreed he would be coming over the next day to give me an estimate of how much it will cost. I could tell he did not like that i asked for an estimate instead of hiring him for the job right on the spot. But can't blame wanting to get a couple of estimates before getting the job done. Well I WAS RIGHT! I didn't hear back from him. i texted him after the agreed time then he tells me he had an emergency in San Diego. Coincidence? maybe... I understand emergencies happen. He agreed to call me the following Monday, nope no call or text received until the end of the week. Just beware, in my opinion a business that doesnt take a "" possible client"" serious then this business may not be the right one. I did not hire him, this review is based on asking for a free estimate. I gave them 2 stars just because he was polite and nice over the phone.

I spoke briefly with this guy on the phone, and traded a few texts. His basic message to me was: Don't call me unless you intend to spend money with me. I have a problem with my water heater, I don't know if it can be repaired or whether it has to be replaced, but that's why I call a professional. Not at all courteous on the phone, he told me that there was a service charge of $85 for him to come to my home whether I purchase the service or not, because ""I gotta go all the way over there."" I honestly don't know what the quality of his service is, but the fact that he doesn't seem to care about losing a potentially $1000+ job and taking the attitude that he's doing me a favor - was a complete turnoff for me. Shop around, there are tons of plumbers in San Diego such as ARS, Bill Howe, etc.

Update: I had two different companies come over today to provide an estimate, both recommended a new water heater. #LostRevenue

Lemus Plumbing is a family owned business, run by very professional people. I called when we discovered a water stain on our ceiling. They were at the house within an hour. They found the pipes that were leaking upstairs. Repaired leak, cleaned up, had us back to normal in a little over an hour. And did I mention, they were very reasonable . Thank you!
