I spoke briefly with this guy on the phone, and traded a few texts. His basic message to me was: Don't call me unless you intend to spend money with me. I have a problem with my water heater, I don't know if it can be repaired or whether it has to be replaced, but that's why I call a professional. Not at all courteous on the phone, he told me that there was a service charge of $85 for him to come to my home whether I purchase the service or not, because ""I gotta go all the way over there."" I honestly don't know what the quality of his service is, but the fact that he doesn't seem to care about losing a potentially $1000+ job and taking the attitude that he's doing me a favor - was a complete turnoff for me. Shop around, there are tons of plumbers in San Diego such as ARS, Bill Howe, etc.

Update: I had two different companies come over today to provide an estimate, both recommended a new water heater. #LostRevenue

Lemus Plumbing is a family owned business, run by very professional people. I called when we discovered a water stain on our ceiling. They were at the house within an hour. They found the pipes that were leaking upstairs. Repaired leak, cleaned up, had us back to normal in a little over an hour. And did I mention, they were very reasonable . Thank you!

I'm normally not someone who writes reviews, but I've used this company twice and I really like them. They are on time, friendly, thorough, and very reasonably priced. I have not had this same experience with other plumbers in the area. I called another plumber once who was late and charged me double what Lemus charges for the same service. Don't waste your time with the others, call these guys first.

I cannot say enough good things about Lemus. Last night my downstairs toilet started backing up, and the corresponding sink backed up the toilet. I posted on my Next Door site, and I was almost immediately contacted by Lemus plumbing to offer to come at 8 am the very next morning. Rafael and his coworker arrived at 8, and got to work. It turned out to be more than a simple TP clog, resulting in removing the toilet and roto-auging (is that even a word!l )12 feet of pipe to the main sewer line.
Turned out to be calcium build up in the pipe and within 90 min fixed the problem, and gave me a very reasonable rate. I will reccomend Lemus to anyone. Thank you gentleman. You made a mom very happy today!

Lemus Plumbing was recommended to us by a very good friend who had plumbing issues that were resolved very quickly and professionally. I called Lemus Plumbing and the response was quick and courteous. Jose responded by providing a timely phone call when he would arrive. Upon arrival. Jose was courteous and friendly. He reviewed the plumbing problem and within less than a half hour fixed the problem. His cost was very reasonable and his demeanor was very professional and personal. We would highly recommend Lemus Plumbing for any and all plumbing issues. We rated them 5 stars for customer service and timely response and repair.

Lemus plumbing is awesome!
We just remodeled our bathroom and the plumber we previously hired was completely incompetent. Lemus came to the rescue! Responded right away (none of that nonsense- oh, we'll send somebody 1 to 5). Very professional, fixed the problem quickly and very reasonably priced. As long as they are in business, I don't have to look for another plumber ever again.

Lemus Plumbing is the best ! Ive used them before at my hair salon which you can imagine gets clogged quite frequently but this time my home water heater broke late in the evening and they came right over in the am to replace it for us . Don't waste your time calling around they are honest , trustworthy and very competitive with there pricing . I'll definitely use them again
