Virg R.I am VERY VERY VERY UPSET!!! They have deceptive pricing practices. They told me $30 trip charge and $168 per hour. When he finished unstopping the drain he charged me $198 stating that they have a one hour minimum charge. He was only their 20 minutes because I clocked it on my iPhone. That's $600 per hour. Lemay Plumbing never told me that they had a one hour minimum, and all the other contractors I use charge a trip charge and hourly rate but only charge for time to complete work and any parts. I called Lemay Plumbing twice to complain but they state that the plumbers GPS shows he was their for exactly one hour. More Deception! So I guess I paid for him to sit in his truck and smoke because the time stamps on my iPhone don't lie. DON'T USE LEMAY PLUMBING THEY ARE DECEPTIVE.
Ben S.Basic repairs are what this company should be used for. Don't call them for a bid on any large project.
I asked for a bid to correct a venting issue 3 weeks before I was scheduled to close on a home sale, and I got the bid 24 hours before closing (long after the work was completed by another plumber).
Aside from the fact that he never got around to getting me the bid, the bid itself was for over $6000 (for a job that got done, and to the STL plumbing and occupancy inspectors satisfaction, with far less work) when the job was done for under $1800.
Repairs = good
Large jobs requiring a bid = go somewhere else and save big

Within 18 hours of my water heater dying, he not only assessed the problem, but ordered the new tank, installed it with the greatest professionalism and he should have charged more...the fix and forget it way he performs his vocations is the best I've ever seen. A+++ across the board. Thanks Mike
