Not sure about their service but their customer service was bad. Reached out and asked if someone could come by a give a free quote and his very first response was ""We don't do free anything."" I felt he could have handled/responded differently.

I called c&j in the summer for an ac problem. Technician showed up on time and solved our problem fast. I called them today at 230p for a heating problem the guy I spoke to Jim said he was finishing a call at New Lennox and will be at my house in 2 hrs. I expected him by 430p/5p, did not hear from him until 645p to tell me he will be at my house 730p 5hrs later when I first spoke to him. I refused his service initially. Customer service is very bad expecting people to wait all day for him without a call. I offered a chance to show up Monday morning he refused. Better off without his arrogance and bad customer service.

Our furnace went out when it was -6 degrees. We started to panic and started calling companies in the area. Jim answered right away, after asking what his prices were we agreed that he would drive out to Orland from Joliet. He was friendly, outgoing and very patient. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and made sure we understood why he was doing what he was doing. We were just thankful that he took care of the issue, which ended up being something minor. Given the circumstances and the weather, we thought his price was extremely reasonable. I felt that he was honest, to the point and we felt comfortable with him being in our home. In the future, we will definitely call Jim for maintenance or any issues.

Jim and his crew are awesome!!! we have been putting a band aid on our AC for three years, Jim got us through last summer and early this summer but it was time after 23 years for a new unit. They came out the day I called and three days later we have a new updated unit. There were a few problems with our duct work so Jim had to make it work and he did without any problem. These guys know their stuff and they are very friendly and explain what they are doing, I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs heating and AC services!!!! :)

If you want to get ripped off by all means have work done by this company. A technician came out to fix our air conditioner told us it would be $275. We agree to the price and then get a phone call stating he didn't do the proper diagnostics and it's going to be an additional $450 to fix the motor. In total $725 to fix our AC! We refused to pay $725 before the work was done and the owner Jimmy told us he doesn't want OUR business. I think it's the other way around. We definitely don't want his!!!!!!
We ended up getting the work done for half the price through dornbos!
If you want to get hosed...Jimmy's your man:)

I have been using C&J for about 10 years. They are really nice guys who always come when you call. They never try to sell you more than you need. They always offer practical advice. And most importantly, they fix what ever is wrong - with both heating and ac that is critical! I would highly recommend C&J!
