I have an issue with my gas water heater. The gas control valve needs replaced. Legacy Service company was assigned by my warranty company and they did the original diagnostic and recommended replacement. They said they would be back in about 4 days to repair once parts were in. It is now 2.5 weeks later and I have been rescheduled going on 3 times. They still haven't come. They reschedule via text which you cannot reply to. They do not answer calls when calling to inquire about why. This is totally unacceptable. Terrible company to work with. I'm in the process of reassigning my claim and terrible disgusted by the lack of customer service or even basic communication by this company. Would not recommend at all.

So just like all the other reviews on here my home warranty company partnered with Legacy. So the technician arrived to my house with only a screwdriver in hand. He went down to my basement and looked at the blower motor, pulled out the filter, said it needed to be changed and left. He said that he was going to put in a ticket to see about doing a repair, not sure of what as he didn't look at anything. A few days go by and nothing. When I messaged the Warranty company all of a sudden I get a reschedule date for the same technician. As i wait for my appointment date I get another email pushing the date out by a week. Mind you it is boiling hot here in Kansas City and I have a baby in the house. So that day comes and goes, no call, no show. I tried calling legacy, left them 3 messages at the office, and called and left a message with the technician, and you guessed it, no calls back. I would never recommend this company, they are a total sham, they collocated my service call fee and then pretty much just vanished. I cannot believe a warranty company would work with them, with all the emails going back and forth between me and them discussing this, Legacy must be costing them to have them on board.

I never leave reviews................My home warranty company picked them, they texted an appt date without even speaking with me, then didn't bother to show up, I called and no one answered, left a message and an email, they finally called back and said they had canceled and rescheduled, they had done this without notifying me, they finally came out and diagnosed my AC problem several days later, they ordered parts and said once the parts were in they would be able to repair it quickly, that was a lie, they called saying that parts came in and were ready to schedule our repair and they couldn't get to us for 10 more days, then they didn't show up again, this time I got a text message saying they rescheduled me a week out, I tried calling again no answer, emailed no response. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!...... I just called again and they said my appointment was rescheduled as the parts were not available. I called them out on that as they had told me the parts were in when they scheduled the appointment for today to begin with, she said she would call their supervisor and get back to me....my HW company called them later and was told they were coming out today. I called multiple times to find out what time, finally got someone to answer and they said the HW company never called and they would not be coming for a week, they did tell me the vendor had sold the part because they never purchased it from the vendor to begin with, and that they ordered one online

8/17/22 well it's been a week, I got a confirmation call this morning saying the tech would call when they were 30 min out. About an hour later I got another call saying they never got the part and would try calling local vendors and try to get ahold of the company that it was supposed to be shipped from a week ago to see if they can overnight it.

Only reason rated a 1 is because I cannot rate negative. This company is a complete joke. My home warranty company picked them and they came out and misdiagnosed my AC problems and said I needed 2 new evap coils. They billed my warranty company $3k and charged me $1175 out of pocket and that was not even the problem with my AC. As soon as they completed the project, the AC still did not work and cool down. Then the tech said now the leak is outside and we need another $2975 to fix. I will be suing this company. DO NOT USE

Wish I would have read the reviews first here before accepting this company to do the work which was assigned by choice home warranty company. They installed a new air conditioner and still broken! Paid my portion to replace the system and Now they are resisting to come back and fix what is wrong! I stopped calling legacy, but keep sending messages to choice warranty company about this for my paper trail! I have spoken too my attorney and may have to take them to small claims court to refund my money! I wonder how Choice home is still working with them all these reviews and complaints. Stay away from this company!!

One of the worst customer service ever. I wish I would have read the reviews first here before accepted by choice home warranty company. They installed a new furnace and broke all the duct system and now resisting to come back and fix it. Now both hot and cold air not coming out of our home vents. I wonder how Choice home is still working with them amidst all these reviews and complaints. Stay away from this company!!

If you're assigned this company ask for another one. Very poor communication from them. They rescheduled me three times, then ten minutes before my appointment that day I get an email stating that I had missed my appointment. Then customer service says they tried calling me, yet leave no missed calls or voice mail. I lost two days of work waiting for these half assed bafoons to show up and never did see anyone. I also fired choice warranty for having them in their network.

My system went out at my daycare, Legacy service came right away and repaired the issue. I loved the text feature and received a call from technician when they were head my way. The issue was repaired in a timely manner and the customer service was incredible.

I was assigned Legacy Plumbing from my Home Warranty Company (Choice )
and before even the appt I was asked to pay the service fee required by my plan with Choice upfront from Legacy, which I did not. So he came out, hardly did anything to determine the fix. He needed to take pictures, but his phone wasn't charged so he used our charger. He also wanted the service fee at this time which I paid. I shouldn't have paid until the job was done because he never came back (Demarcus). I made several phone calls to the company and never received a call back. So a week later nothing has been fixed. I cancelled my payment and informed Choice the company I want to use. NEVER NEVER if you have Choice accept Legacy Plumbing to do any work for you. I informed Choice of this situation ..I'm not sure they care. I agree with a former review, I should have looked the reviews up before accepting this company.

I wish I had read all the reviews BEFORE its service. Legacy was assigned to me by my home warranty company as my central AC is not working properly. The service man came and told me it is not repairable and will get a different unit. Being 100 degree outside in late July, and I have two seniors over 84 years old in the house, I specifically asked them to turn in the diagnosis report ASAP. It's been over A WEEK, my insurance company still has NOT received anything from them. Each time the agent calls Legacy, they say they are preparing the report at that moment but day after day they never receive the report....... will NEVER, EVER use Legacy in the future. If I could give 0, I would.
