Julio responded quickly, came out to house on a short notice on a Friday night. He noted right away the problem could be much more than clogged below the sink cut off valve.
Once getting started we both realized the job was going to be bigger than valve replacement.
It's a 50 year old house with a kluge of galvanized pipe, threaded valves, brass sink drain, PVC pipe. The galvanized pipe was thoroughly corroded inside and out, the sink drain was equally past its useful life, too brittle to work around. It would be an all day job. Julio had other projects scheduled Saturday. He texted a colleague and we had someone first thing Saturday morning.
The work was completed Saturday afternoon, we had good water flow and properly done plumbing from the sink drain down to the pipes below the crawl space.

The company responded right away to a request for an immediate plumbing job on Monday afternoon around 2pm. Julio showed up and was polite, friendly, and even took his shoes off without even being asked too. He assessed the job, provided a quote, and got started as soon as I gave the ok. He explained some of the things he was doing as I had tried myself to replace the faucet and then angle stops without a lot of progress. He completed both jobs with a reasonable price which had to include travel time. He cleaned up nicely after the work and took his shoes off every time he went to his van and then came back in. Thank you Legacy, please keep guys like Julio around because he really made a great impression with his customer service and the quality of the job.

Nice guy but be prepared to pay even if they cannot solve your problem. I did get a 20% discount from the original price for the sewer unclogging job. I could have given a lower score but I did see they had tried their best but just could not solve the problem. I ended up getting another plumber who solved the problem within 10 mins.

Before finding Legacy, we were 10 days without hot water!

The first company did a flush for 30% more than their competitors and then they ordered a part. Then they offered to adjust a valve before realizing the unit had failed entirely. Thanks for the flush. The next company missed/forgot they had an appointment. The next one just went dark as soon as I asked for a veteran's discount.

I got lucky and found Legacy. Julio dropped everything, cleared his calendar, and went above and beyond to sort through the mess and get the new tankless water heater covered by warranty and installed. He even followed up ensuring the family could bathe again and clean dishes.
