Words cannot explain how impressed I am with Legacy Air.

The compressor blew on the AC unit at my rental property in the middle of a heat wave while my tenant was pregnant with twins - it was like a soap opera.

After receiving quotes from two other companies and feeling uneasy about both, I called Legacy Air at the suggestion of my sister. When it seemed that Legacy Air wasn't going to be able to come out soon enough, the receptionist I spoke to, Irene, helped me evaluate the quotes I had gotten from the other two companies and gave me suggestions as to which way to go. The fact that she was so helpful in guiding me on competitors won me over and convinced me to wait the extra day to work specifically with this company.

Later, one of the owners, Dave, called to discuss financing options with me. Upon hearing my specific situation and how impressed I was with his company thus far, Dave went out to evaluate my unit himself one day sooner than promised and then came out again himself the very next day to get it fixed.

This company was quick, efficient, and helpful. Everyone I encountered along the way was pleasant and I feel confident in their quality of work. I even saved money by going with this company and was able to get the unit fixed in the same amount of time as promised by the other companies with higher quotes.

If nothing else I write speaks to my satisfaction with this company, perhaps learning that I created a Yelp account just so I could specifically recommend Legacy Air will.

After being told I need to replace my AC unit for an obscene amount of $, I wanted a second opinion, but was also hesitant to trust another company.

At my request, the owner, Dave, promptly returned my call and assured me that Dean will be able to correctly diagnose and fix the problem. It took 2 days due to the busy season, but Dean figured out the problem and fixed it in 20 minutes! For 1/15th of what the other company wanted to charge. Needless to say, I'm saving their number for future use.

I really appreciate the help we got from the technician named Nick with Legacy Air! Will definitely recommend Legacy Air to all friends!

We have two ac. They are both less than 4 years old. In June we found our downstairs ac was not making cold. So we called Goettl. The technician came and told us the Freon is low in ac. I asked whether there is a leak since the upstairs one was running fine. He didn't say anything about leak so I trusted him. After paid 240 plus for Freon, we found our account starting working not right again a couple days ago. This time I decided to try Legacy Air. The technician named Nick came and told me the Freon is low and there should be a leak. However instead of quote me $ 1200 to fix the leak, he suggested me to call the company who installed ac. So I paid $40 only for Freon. The next day thee installation company came and found out it was their installation mistake to make this leak so they fixed the ac under warranty! $1200 Savings! If it was not Legacy Air, we wouldn't have saved this money!

My experience with Legacy Air wouldn't seem like it would warrant a four star review initially, but I will be using them in the future and trust the ownership to make things right. I called Legacy Air due to an outstanding recommendation for Mario from a close friend. My issue was that Nick came out to make the service call. I wasn't satisfied with his level of detail on what needed to be fixed immediately vs. long term improvements. We had to negotiate down to get a good deal on what needed to be done immediately to get it working again. He forgot to call and have someone book the job, so I had to call back to get my preferred time. After the job was complete, he ended up leaving the on/off switch out of the condenser. This caused a very horrible night for me with the house at 90 degrees and me in the attic with a temperature sensor looking for the problem. I didn't discover the condenser switch until the next morning when it was light outside. The owner called and came out to review what happened. During the previous night, I uncovered a major hole in my ducting was covered up with refuse that wasn't taken out from the job. It only took me a couple minutes to uncover this while looking around the attic, so how the technician didn't see it and managed to leave a large pile of old ducting directly on top of it, I am not sure . . . . The owner ended up refunding the entire cost of the job. He was very concerned that I left feeling satisfied. I can honestly say that I am satisfied and will plan to have the rest of the system refurbished during the slow season using Legacy Air. I will recommend them because I know that they take care of their clients and feel confident that this won't happen again.

I don't review much but I've got to come out and say THANK U LEGACY!

My AC went out on this 110-degree day, and I called my (useless) home warranty provider - the earliest they could come out would be Thursday afternoon!

So I found Legacy Air through Yelp. Over the phone, they were able to diagnose the likely problem and offer possible solution. Their suggestion worked, and they didn't even charge me.

If I ever have another AC problem in the future, Legacy Air will definitely be the first provider I'd call.

I found Legacy Air after reading all the excellent Yelp reviews. In June, during the record heat our A/C broke down. In all fairness I have to say that it was a pretty old AC. Called my Home Owners Warranty, they sent someone ( different Company) out, the young man replaced a breaker and the ""Kwickstart""of the compressor ( worked prior to repair), told me we are cooling.... well, 2 hours after the ""repair"" the house still was as hot as prior to the repair. I called my Home Warranty again, they promised to send someone else ( again, a different company). It took another few days, and this time the compressor was fried. Well, my Homewarranty this time wanted nearly 1000 $ to ""dispose of the old and make adjustments"" for the new compressor. That's when I looked for a second opinion and found Legacy Air. I gave them a call, wanted an idea if it was worth replacing the compressor vs a new unit. The young lady on the phone gave me an estimate, scheduled an appointment with a technician, and told me, that they usually tried to save the old unit if at all possible. During the visit of the technician, he never ever tried to push the purchase of a new unit, listened to my thoughts and answered all my questions. I decided to go with the new unit. ( The proposal was actually a little under the original quote - for a 5 instead of 4 ton unit including the crane needed to get the old out and the new unit in). An appointment was made, the people from Legacy Air were on time, friendly, professional,patient, again answering all my questions and made sure everything worked after the install ! I can highly recommend Legacy Air for not only catapulting my AC into the 21st Century,but making my house comfortable to live in again ! Thank you !
