Rayne B.If i could give ZERO stars, I would. I literally just called to get out 2 commercial buildings serviced/repaired. The airhead that answered the phone, apparently saw the area code that I was calling from and hung up on me. How ignorant was that? Apparently she doesn't know that people move to different states, have different lines of businesses, travel, etc. just bcse you don't have the SAME area code as the business you're calling doesn't mean that a solicitor is calling you GENIUS.
So thanks to her, we gladly found their competitor and are more then willing to give them our money, business, and referrals.
Train your employees better and your Yelp reviews just may increase.
**And NO ""Kendra"" my review is NOT a scam, I have better things to do. I just figure I'd advise others on the bad customer service I received.
I cannot express in words how much I appreciate Lee Plumbing and particularly, Nick Peter, who did the clean up and top-notch repairs. I received service like no other company would have ever provided and truly don't know what I would do without Nick. This is the second time they have immediately come to the rescue for me.
Nick is incredible and went above and beyond to help a damsel in distress when the water heater leaked and I had a flood in the basement. It was a mess!
He was kind enough to call me back at 6:30 am, immediately came out to observe the situation, knew what needed to be done, and even though he was completely booked that day, stayed to hold my hand and pushed back his other appointments in order to take care of the grueling job. He even went as far as helping me clean up the soaking wet carpet! Unbelievable and priceless.
He was so thoughtful and kind and I couldn't hug him enough! What an asset he is to the company.

C M.I called Lee mechanical about getting a new A/C and they were way cheaper than anyone else and listened. The price was in the 3's for a high rated elite series 2.5 liter when nearly everyone else in town wanted near 4K-5K . Plus they fixed a run issue and upgraded a feature with my furnace.
They put it the a/c unit high on gravel as I requested which everyone should do b/c the plastic sinks over time-I like it high off the ground b/c of snow, and water.
wow! Shane Wilson and Tom Lee were two of the nicest, most professional and competent individuals I have ever met. They were on time, went above and beyond the bid and beyond what the bid mentioned. They were very neat from the beginning to the end. They exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has any plumbing issues.
I was skeptical of the service from Lee Plumbing after they lost my initial work order, but since we had had good experience with them at my workplace, I gave them a second chance. I am glad that I did.
The plumber called as expected with and ETA for his arrival. Once on site, he quickly jumped into action fixing my sink drain, devising a solution for a tricky sink installation that had stumped my best DIY efforts.
We discovered after the drain installation that the pipes still blocked the vanity drawers from closing and the plumber offered to help me shim the cabinet to make room and reattach the cabinet to the wall. While only taking an extra 15 minutes to complete this task, the job would have been much more difficult without his assistance.
His expertise, willingness to go the extra mile, and his concern that everything was functioning properly before he left was something that you don't always find in the trades. Kudos to Lee Plumbing!
Water heater was not working. Got an appointment the next morning. Upon inspection the heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. They changed their schedule to accommodate me and replace the heater same morning. Kevin was very professional and friendly. He updated me with progress reports several times. Very satisfied with this company.
Dan R.Imagine buying a house, nicely kept up, the HVAC system seemed decent, and well maintained. Then, winter came along and the furnace craps out. Why? Because the system had cracks in the heat exchanger (causing the carbon monoxide detector to go off) and when checked out it wasn't worth it to replace the heat exhanger. Who was the contractor whose stickers were ALL OVER EVERYTHING? Lee's. They didn't catch a cracked heat exchanger (DANGEROUS!), and I didn't expect to have to replace a furnace months after buying a house. Needless to say, I will not be using Lee's in the future.
Trish G.My handyman advised me to get a plumber for a blocked kitchen pipe. I called Lee and was told there was a trip fee and a plumber rate of $104/hour. Plumber came and told me that there would be a one hour minimum fee of $125/hour and an equipment fee for the snake (that he wasn't sure was long enough). This basis information was not provided when I called in.
Karen S.I would give 0 stars if I could: guy comes over to fix frozen water pipes in mobile home. He asks if pipes are copper or plastic and I say I dont know because I hadnt lived here that long and pipes are under the trailer. So he assumes they must be copper since it is an older home. He calls the office to have them bring a unit to thaw pipes. We wait for an hour during which time service guy sits at my kitchen table talking nonstop. The unit arrives but is useless bc pipes are plastic. Im billed for one hour labor plus house call! Now I am about $175 poorer and still have frozen pipes. Service guy was nonchalant about it. Left me in tears.
So many problems with Lee. Below is the whole story of my experience with Lee, enjoy the short novel to explain it all:
My heat went out sometime during the night so I called first thing in the morning (Thursday). Since I had an appointment that day, I asked if the technician could come after that time. While at the doctor's I received a call that the technician was on his way.
After that mix-up, I arrived home and the technician arrived shortly after and diagnosed the problem. Lee did not have the part in stock so they ordered it and had it overnighted. The next day (Friday) the technician arrives only to find that he ordered the wrong part. This of course means they cannot get the correct part until Monday. Meanwhile, it's -5 degrees outside.
During the weekend, I find that the technician left a gas leak from the furnace (right next to my running gas fireplace).
After this fiasco, I called the office early Monday morning asking for the favor to have the technician scheduled to arrive no sooner than 5:00 pm since my boss was questioning why I was taking so many days off to fix a furnace. The person who answered was extremely rude and kept speaking over me, telling me they would not do such a thing and I should be at home so they can fix my furnace. After a few minutes of trying to get the Lee representative quiet to listen to me, she finally listened to what I had to say and as I explained the situation that had already transpired she finally started being somewhat helpful and we reached a compromise of an appointment late in the day. We finished the conversation with the understanding that they would call me when the part arrived so I could make the 45 minute trek from work to home to be there to let the technician in.
Fast-forward to 3 pm, still no call from Lee so I gave them a call for an update. I was told the part wasn't in yet but another promise they would call the moment it got in. At 3:45, I received a call from the technician asking why I wasn't at home. He was there at my home with the part in hand ready to install it.
After rushing home, the technician installs the part and after installing, he was very polite to listen to my frustrations in dealing with Lee over the past 5 days as well as his breakdown of leaving a gas leak right next to a running fireplace. He promised he would bring it up to his Service Manager and I could expect a call from the service manager. This was on 12/19/16. I am writing this review on 1/11/17. Still no call from the Manager and to top off this whole circus, I got a bill on 1/6/17 where I'm being charged for the incorrect part plus I'm being charged for an excess of labor. Not only the time that the technician was installing the part but also the time that it took for me to explain to him the problems. I would estimate that it took the technician 45 minutes or so, and I'm being charged for 1.5 hours of labor. Requests to have the technician call me have so far been ignored.
I would not recommend Lee to anyone.
UPDATE (1/16/17): I called in to Lee and asked to speak with the Owner. I was put through to him where I aired my grievances. He was very polite and listened to the whole situation. I believe he had read this review online prior to my call. I'm still rather confused over the whole situation. He described how he had a different invoice in front of him than I had in my hands. Not sure why a different bill would be sent than on record at the company. No explanation offered on why I was being charged excessively on labor.
I refused to pay tax on anything to make up for lost time at work, the owner did waive that.
All-in-all, I still do not feel the scales are balanced between the ineptitude displayed by this company in handling my emergency and what I had to pay out to them.
If you should choose to have Lee work for you, ensure billing is correct and be prepared to follow-up to ensure they have done a proper/satisfactory job.
I still would not recommend Lee to anyone
