Honest, skilled, straightforward. Lee made time to do an initial check of my non-emergency plumbing issue so that he had a plan in place before scheduling the actual repair which required the water to be shut off for the building.
A previous plumber had told me the shower wall would have to be opened up for the repair but Lee said no way - that guy was just trying to charge more for an unnecessarily bigger job.
It's an old building and he had to go to several places to find the right parts but he and his crew got the job done, cleaned up, and were out of here in about 3 hours. And no holes in the wall.

Lee showed up exactly when he said he would, was very friendly and knowledgeable, did an awesome job, and charged a very reasonable (not too high) price. I will hire him again most definitely. The work he and his assistant did was quite challenging. They replaced a toilet flange mechanism in a 2nd story bathroom which had been improperly piped by the house builder and replaced numerous outdated / corroded / non-standard bathroom fixtures. My husband and son had started the job, got halfway done, and realized they were in way over their heads. I called Lee in a panic. He and his assistant showed up right away and saved the day.

Lee was available quickly, examined the problem, and gave simple and straightforward explanations.

He also (without charging for it!) added a seal around the, uh, handle... backing... area? Y'know, the metal mount that the handle is on; the second I saw the seal I went, ""Wait, yeah -- there WAS a little gap along the edge of the mount, and that WOULD obviously let water leak in. Of course it needed a seal!"" But I would never have /really/ put two and two together had he not pointed it out.

Finally, although he could easily have said ""Hey, you need a completely new shower cartridge,"" instead he simply cleaned it out and said ""Look, this is near the end of its life -- could last for months, could last for years. Next time you have trouble with the shower -- if the head is still dripping an hour after you finish, or the temperature is fluctuating -- *that'll* be the time to get replacements.""

All in all, even though I didn't know the right questions to ask, his explanations were easy to follow and left me understanding (or thinking I understood) what the next steps were. And the price was very reasonable, too. Excellent service; glad to recommend him, and I'm keeping his business card handy.
