Fernando was able to get me scheduled quickly and was extremely responsive throughout the scheduling process. Once he arrived , he and his colleague were able to thoroughly test both the interior and exterior of the house to confirm that there was no leak. He spent extra time to diagnose a potential issue with my water pressure to be sure nothing was wrong. I appreciated how he took the time to help me understand what he was doing throughout -- I learned about my home as a result.

After a blowout in the copper hot water line, located beneath an 8"" thick concrete foundation, we needed re-piping and requested a few proposals from local companies. Fernando, of Star Leak, offered the most detailed written proposal at the best price. Fernando was also the best communicator of all. They completed the work in a day, and replaced the cut drywall sections, ready to be taped and plastered for the drywall crew. We had hot water again before evening!

I was having problems with my plumbing pipes making a high pitch squealing noise when we flushed toilets or ran the washing machine. I tried to solve the problem by replacing the pressure regulator which worked for a short time but then the noise came back. I then replaced allof the quarter turn valves and supply lines which did not solve the problem. I then called Fernando at leak star and he came out and spent about an hour and a half helping to diagnose the problem. We finally traced it to one of the toilets that was leaking and had a bad float valve. Even though it was only one toilet that had the problem it still caused the noise when any of the other ones or the washer was used. After all said and done Fernando did not charge me anything for his time spent helping me figure out this aggravating problem.

If I could give 10 stars I would! This Company is amazing! Fernando went above and beyond to find our slab leak! He found it within 2 hrs. He re routed our pipes to the attic and everything fixed in 2 days. He even helped us hook back up our dishwasher!! His customer service is absolutely amazing!!! I would highly recommend this company!!

When warm, clean water seeped out from under my ground floor toilet, I knew I was in trouble. I called Leak Star and left a message, and Fernando called me back within minutes. He showed up with a helper, Pedro, and they set to work. Using various instruments, including thermal and specialized listening tools, they were able to determine my leak was the result of a failed hot water line in the slab under my tiled bathroom floor. By shutting off the hot water via a valve on the inlet side of the water heater, we at least had the leak stopped for the moment. Some days later, I was able to get the reroute work scheduled with Leak Star, and Fernando and Pedro showed up on time and ready to work. In all honesty, it is hard to watch workmen cut & drill into your walls, but they did a great job prepping the work space, doing the work, and cleaning up after themselves when they were through. The break in the hot water line was successfully bypassed, which I verified by observing zero flow through my water meter at the street when all of the spigots were closed. I now have hot water available, and the plumbing part of the job has been completed to 100% of my satisfaction. (Drywall repairs are still outstanding.) Kudos to Fernando and Pedro for putting the plumbing part of this issue ""in the rear view mirror."" Fernando is friendly and conversational, and is highly skilled in his trade. I am glad that I made the call to Leak Star. They did me ""a solid,"" and I highly recommend them.

Fernando did an excellent job of locating a leak where we least expected the source to be. It turned out be the dishwasher, but only when it was operating. He then removed the dishwasher, some flooring & drywall, walled off our kitchen area and dried out our kitchen for 6 days. After the work was done he and his crew cleaned up the area. We were very pleased with his work and professionalism. We highly recommend Leak Star.
