I had an undetected slab leak in my guest room and the water damage was fairly extensive. I found Leak Star on Yelp who had an excellent customer rating. Timo came out the next day and throughly explained to me what mitigation work would entail. He then went to work and found the source of the leak. Within the course of the next few days, he took care of everything, including removal (drywall, baseboard, baseboard, flooring, carpet, cabinet, sink), drying (using several dehumidifiers), and repiping/rerouting. Although repiping/rerouting was not covered by my insurance, Timo explained to me the Pros/Cons and I decided to do it to eliminate any anxiety of this happening again. What impressed me the most about Timo was his professional demeanor and work ethic. He showed up at 8AM every morning and worked til 5PM (or later on some days). He is also honest and friendly too. He also worked very closely with my insurance company which was very helpful. I would highly recommend Timo and he would be the first person to call if this ever happens again (which I hope not)!

Timo found and fixed our leak in one morning for less than half of the other plumber's estimate. His leak detection tool must be better than some other leak detectors because it didn't take him more than 10 minutes to find the problem. The other plumber was talking about ripping up our driveway!

He was very prompt, professional, and to the point. I was able to set up an appointment with him the following day and he confirmed my leak. I had a slab leak coming up in the garage. I was not sure if it was from sprinkler valves outside or where? I called Leak Star about a month ago and spoke with Timo. He spent a lot of time on the phone trying to walk me through the problem. He was waiting for some new equipment so we held off on an appointment.
A few weeks later, I called again. Timo remembered me and came out the following day. Found the problem and scheduled the repair for the next day.
Fixed the problem for the quoted estimate along with some other issues he found.

After a week of a faint smell of mildew, I finally checked our water meter to find that we did in fact have something leaking but could not be seen. I called 3 companies with no immediate answer. I called Leak Star and Timo answered. He was calm and professional as I explained our issues. He was able to quickly diagnose our problem as a hot water slab leak and set a time to come check it out. He was timely and knew exactly what had to be done. The following day I had questions, I called, he picked up, knew exactly who I was and able to put my mind at ease.
After a half day's work, our leak had stopped, we had a new pipe with minimal impact on our drywall. I am beyond pleased with the work and the professionalism. I highly recommend and if we ever do have another situation, they will be my first call!

On top of being fast and extremely helpful, Timo gave us a fair estimate and began work immediately on rerouting our pipes. The reviews are accurate. Fast response and super nice/helpful man. I have a leak in my yard somewhere and it is so deep and pointing downward so his equipment couldn't detect BUT he referred me to someone with specialty equipment and verified there is in fact a big leak. He didn't charge me anything either! Great to find nice, honest neighborly people like this.
