We hired this company to fix a pipe that was leaking in our back yard. It was from our pool equipment to a spa.
They sent someone out to fix it. It didn't hold. They sent the same person a second time. It didn't hold. We have tried for a over a year and a half to get them back to fix it. They won't return messages or call us back. We spent a lot of money with them on this. We are worried about foundation issues and have to find someone else to fix it. I am looking into a complaint with the contractor's board.
I DO NOT recommend this company. BEWARE!

Absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL! Missed our appointment after booking two weeks out. Claims to have left messages (call logs on my phone and my wife's phone confirm no calls). Hung up on me when I pointed out that they couldn't have called. Have left several messages and called on all lines. ZERO RESPONSE. If you want to be ignored and treated unprofessionally - by all means give them a call. And do yourself a favor, and read the other bad reviews here!

What a great company to work with! They were very professional and did a great job detecting a pool leak behind a light fixture. They called to confirm the appointment before they arrived and the owner was a pleasure to work with. The technician was excellent and was able to find our pool leak which was costing a lot of money in salt and water loss.

We paid Leak Point $500 to find the leaks in our pool. They said they had a 30-day guarantee. They did NOT find the leaks. We notified them in writing within the 30-day time-frame. We then received conflicting information about the pool and what needed to be done to find the leak(s). First, they told us they needed to dive it and we needed to heat the pool. Then they said we needed to drain it. They also said we would need to pay $150 an hour additional for them to come out to evaluate and find the leaks that they were originally paid to find. They were unresponsive when we called multiple times and they elected to later respond via email. They are opportunistic, unethical, and incompetent.

Terrible experience. I was referred to this company by another. The original company told me the charge was $125 per hour for leak detection services. When LP arrived, they said it was $275. I told them i was not good with that, so they left. I was billed $95 for literally nothing. I paid under protest. They should have been clear on pricing when they set up the appointment. I was not told i would be billed $95 for nothing. I believe they took advantage of me and I'm very displeased.

Just watched one of their vans heading east on Hwy 62 towards Twentynine Palms, CA doing about 80, weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating...
Turned left on Lear about 10:48am if that helps identify the driver and fix the problem (firing is good with me)
With so little respect for the safety of the community this isnt a company I will call and invite back into my area.

How did this company get 5 stars is a mystery! These people are obviously family or friends with fake reviews? Listen to my cautionary story about this company. They tried to scam me for 4000.00 dollars to repipe my water lines!

I had a water leak at my house in Yucca Valley and my plumber recommended I contact a leak Detection service to make sure the leak wasn't under the house. I made contact with them and set up an appointment my first red flag was that they were the only ones available the rest I called were backed up for two weeks. They showed up and told me that he found the leak and that he can hear Cavitating water from under the water heater and with his experience the pipe was too old and and most likely unrepairable. He told us the area of the leak and offered to fix it for Approximately 4000 dollars but unknown to him my friend was a plumber and knew he was scamming me. The next morning we jack hammered the floor and guess what there was no pipe there at all so we made the hole bigger and nothing no pipe what a waste of time Leak Point was! We finally found it after some more jack hammering and the pipe was no where near where he said it was. And guess what no cavitating pipe and the pipe was fine. As you would guess I'm pretty upset with them and he comes back and tells me that sometimes tile can misdirect the sounds. Probably something they should tell you before you hand them money! Called the owner and acted concerned and said he would be calling me back and guess what still no call. So be warned and if you do use them can't really be upset when they try to up sale you!

I had a gas leak. SoCalGas shut off the meter and locked me out, it was that bad. Billi Jo worked on a date and Evan and Sam were on site and pressurized, tested, located, and then fixed two gas leaks under the house.
The SoCalGas tech flippantly said I needed to replace the entire line and dig up the driveway (big $$). Evan fixed the real issue and charged a fair price.
This is the company you want to hire.

Just having a leak and needing to call a leak detection service set my blood pressure off the charts. Thankfully, Billi Jo of Leak Point, when she answered the phone immediately helped put me at ease. Even more remarkable was that Evan, the technician, arrived within 30 minutes to detect and diagnose the leak under our patio. This was Friday afternoon and by Monday morning we had our estimate for the needed work and a promise to begin work on Tuesday. Evan and his assistant arrived early Tuesday morning as promised, began the work and by later that afternoon had completed the repair, patch etc... Also worth mentioning is that before sealing up our patio, Evan spent a good 45 minutes determining and finding another leak. Fortunately, this was insignificant and merely a sprinkler head that was dripping. Can whole-heartedly recommend Leak Point.
