After seeing the water level in my pool go down quickly in in the winter (which shouldn't happen) I knew had a leak - I just didn't know where. Michael came out and found leaks in two places -- my skimmer and my pump. He gave me a detailed diagnosis along with some options to resolve the issues. Long story short-- a week later I have a new energy efficient pool pump (along with a sweet SMUD rebate) and a skimmer that does not leak. Once I had the diagnosis and an estimate for repair, I got other repair estimates and did some research on pool pumps. Michael's proposal was very fair and he chose quality equipment which will save me money on my electric bill. You will not go wrong using Michael and Leak Finders. I am one satisfied customer!

We have been chasing a leak in our pool for a few years now to no avail. Our experience with 2 other companies ended with money spent, repairs done, water still leaking and us tiring of the process and lack of a complete resolution. Recently the leak became much more significant and we had been recommended to Leak Finders. They were fantastic in every way! They acted in a trustworthy manner, they seemed to approach the situation with a fairness and value approach and most importantly, they found the leak and repaired it with minimum impact to our concrete patio (the leak was under it). My toilet and my garbage disposal stopped working and Michael was able to easily fix them without any headaches. I can't recommend Michael and Leak Finders enough! Five stars feels like too few. That's how fantastic he and his company are!!

Our pool was leaking an inch a day (in the winter!) so we knew we needed help fast. So thankful we found Leak Finders on Yelp! We got a call back within an hour and had an appointment set up for the following Friday (2 days after our call). Casey was friendly and helpful making the appointment and let us know that Michael would be out at 10am.
We can't say enough good things about Michael! He was on time, very personable, professional, and trustworthy. He explained the entire process of finding the leak (fascinating!), listened to all our theories, and even gave us some suggestions for the future for some other lighting and waterfall issues we had with our pool. He got to work and tested all of our pool equipment and plumbing and found the leak in the skimmer within an hour. He explained how he would repair it, gave us a quote, and after we approved the work, he told us his office would call to schedule the repair.
One of the women in the office called us within an hour. (I wish I could remember her name.) She was extremely friendly and booked the first available appointment the following Thursday. It was the week following New Year's so they were pretty booked. We happily booked the appointment and then about an hour later got another call. The woman called back to say that Michael didn't want us to have to wait until Thursday (it was Friday) since we were losing so much water so he would come out on Sunday morning if we were available. What a pleasant surprise -- he added an appointment on his day off! Of course we booked him!
He came out Sunday and was able to fix the leak in about 3 hours including the time it took to drain the pool below the skimmer. In addition to fixing the leak, he also ended up fixing a bathroom sink that was leaking (he had time while the pool was draining), and helped with a toilet that kept running. We were happy to be able to hire him on the spot to fix two items that were on our to do list. One stop shopping! What most people don't know is that they also do plumbing in addition to leak finding which was like hitting the jackpot. We now know exactly who to call for any future pool leaks or plumbing issues. We trust Michael and his company 100% and wholeheartedly recommend him! You won't regret it.
Side note: he was fantastic with our dogs. If you have dogs, they'll love him!

Last week I called another company that specializes in finding leaks to see if they could locate the source of some moisture that seemed to be emanating from under my shower. However, right away it was clear the technician didn't know what he was doing. He kept calling into the office asking for advice on what to do, he didn't have the proper equipment in his truck (ie, no camera), and after telling me my sewer line had a major leak, he began explaining how they'd have to tear up the floor to find it. It scared us and fortunately I called Leak Finders to get a second opinion!

Michael came out and took his time understanding the situation and then got right to work getting his camera down the shower drain (the previous company said there was no way to get a camera down there but he did). After checking it out visually he was pretty certain there wasn't a leak. So he then plugged off a section of pipe so he could fill the shower full of water to do a pressure test and sure enough, there wasn't a leak.

He then tested the entire sewer line for the whole house and confirmed that was NO LEAK at all. He was very thorough, took his time making sure he did everything right, and explained what he was doing and all of his findings every step of the way. I was SO impressed!!

I wish I had called them first! It would have saved me a week of stress not to mention the time I took off work for the first company to come out. On the bright side the other company is refunding me my money after I called them to explain what Leak Finders found.

I highly recommend Leak Finders after this experience. They totally know what they're doing, are super professional, and I can't recommend them enough. If they can't find your leak, nobody can!

I am very pleased with Leak Finders. Michael found our swimming pool leak without much trouble and when an unexpected problem was encountered, he immediately remedied it without question. The customer service is outstanding and arriving exactly on time for the appointment is a plus. Our invoice was generously adjusted because of any inconvenience we may have had. Can't beat integrity!

So glad I didn't settle for the first two pages when googling leak detectors. Leak Finders fit me in their schedule with 24 hours, and repaired our leak on the weekend because of the severity of our situation. The City of Folsom came out twice because neighbor had complained we were saturating their yard. This is without even any irrigation on during the two past days. The trickle on our driveway, we were once told by another Leak detection company, was a result of our neighbors up the hill watering their lawn.Hence, we weren't concerned when it trickled all day. Until the City came out and checked our water meter, and realized a leak was occurring somewhere and that we should repair it soon.
