Should be ZERO stars. This guy and his son came over and were there for 7 minutes. While checking for leaks they broke off all the plastic piece on the side of the pool which is used to make water flow towards the top skimmer. He left all the broken pieces lying around the pool, never said anything about it, collected payment, and took off. I called him back about this and have heard nothing since. Zero competence, horrible customer service, and flat out breaks items in the pool, doesn't fix them or get new pieces. I highly suggest no one uses this guy moving forward. I would think that any other company would not do this and be okay with it. In the end I am out $225 for 7 minutes of his time and am left wasting my time to go purchase (out of my pocket) the things HE broke while trying to determine a simple leak. I love how some of these people say he is a very pleasant guy. Couldn't be any worse of a person to chat with either. He is just horrible all the way around.

Brian took care of our issue while keeping me informed about the extent and the price of the repairs. He and his son showed up when they said they would and were quick to locate and repair our leak. We called multiple companies and Brian actually was out to our place to perform the work before any of the other companies even called back.

Brian, the owner, was very pleasant to deal with on the phone. We are beyond pleased with the service we got from Lyle, the technician. He was extremely knowledable, gave us reasonable quotes and stood by them. He also kept us informed with the progress along the way and was able to diagnose and repair our pool leak. Very efficient and left the area completely clean. We Highly recommend this company.

Man I'm so glad I called Leak Detective. They we able to come the same day and figure out my leak issue with my pool. Oh I should mention i called another ""reputable"" leak company the same day and as of this writing they still haven't called back. I'm glad they didn't. Lyle was laid back but professional. He explained everything and gave me options at the end of the process. I now have a pool that doesn't require filling every couple of days!

I had a problem for some time with a leak. Another company spent more than a week checking it out and determined there was no problem. However the leak continued to the point where I had no salt. Leak detective diagnosed the leak almost immediately and accurately. They were able to fix a difficult problem and I am happy to provide a very strong recommendation for their services. I didn't know what to expect but he showed up on time, promptly found the leak under the slab and was able to come first thing the next morning to fix it. He was able to fix the leaky pipe while cutting a minimal size hole in the floor and he charged exactly what he had estimated. He did a good job of cleaning up after himself too. I'm very happy with his work and while I hope to never have another leak under the slab, would absolutely make him my first call.

Kudos to Leak Detective and to Brian and Lyle who offer a service to the customer that is honest, upfront, and reasonable! My daughter had a problem with her pool leaking water since she bought her home three years ago. When Lyle came out to assess the problem, he accurately discerned that the problem of leakage was centering around the automatic refill system. Lyle checked every part of the pool to detect any leaking and determined that the problem was indeed the eroded basket and non-existent refill system. He jack-hammered the decking surrounding the basket and showed us that the automatic refill basket was completely disintegrated and the dirt and sand around the urn had eroded to the point where water was continually draining from the pool. He rebuilt the automatic refill system by putting in a new urn, connected the water lines, put in the float valve, and finished off the rebuild with a new seal, cover, and decking cement base. Lyle demonstrated the highest qualities of customer service, courtesy, and knowledge of what needed to be done to correct the problem. He quoted us a reasonable price for the work to be done and stood by the quote, delivering a finished product that was done well and addressed the problems my daughter was facing with the exorbitant amount of water she was losing each day from her pool. Lyle was patient, optimistic, and congenial at all times; he answered my questions and explained all the procedures he was doing to rebuild the automatic refill system. I would highly recommend Leak Detective to pool owners who have a problem with leakage and need knowledgeable and hard-working professionals with integrity to help them address the problem. Thank you to Lyle who did a fabulous job on our behalf!

A real winner! We looked for someone to come to our house to find our leak for a couple months before finding the Leak Detective. It seemed like the other guys just weren't interested in the business. They had no follow through. One guy came out and said he had to come back. We never saw him again. Others never responded to our calls or emails. The Leak Detective was on it right away. He responded, came when he said he would,mound the leak in minutes, fixed it, and reduced the price because it was easier than expected when he gave us the estimate. That is what customer service is all about! Highly recommended!

I cannot express how amazing this company is!! I have an elderly father that had a under the concrete leak and Leak Detective was there right away, finding the problem, dealing with the insurance company and staying on top of them, keeping me updated on the status and were above and beyond my expectations!
