Zero Stars....I called Lazer Electric.I asked the office. would it be a fee to look at my electric panel. she said No
so I ask her again she said No. so tech came out. He would not even look at electric panel
said it would cost 273.00 to even look at the box. I said that is not what the office said.
the tech said it would cost 73.00 for showing up. paid him to leave. called office.
and told them that is not what u told. me. then she said there is a fee.
and apologized. I called them because I had a problem, They added 73.00 to my problem and left within minutes. Do not use this company unless you like throwing money out the window.

Lindsay did an awesome job following up and letting me know what time to expect the plumber. When the plumber, Maddie, arrived she was very personable and walked me through several repair options. Maddie was the most detailed plumber I've had to the house, walked me through the work she completed and left the area she worked in cleaner than it was originally.
Thanks for your help, ladies!
The only thing I'd change is the price.

WARNING!! BUYER BEWARE!!

Electrician shows up at our home to correct the wiring on two three-way light switches and move one receptacle four feet up a wall.

To start things off, the electrician asks me, ""Do you have a budget in mind for this work?""

That set off red flags right away. Who asks such a question????

I responded, ""No, not a budget but I assumed it should take one hour, maybe two hours max. Would't you agree?"" He responded, ""Yes, it should.""

Lazer Electric's bid was $465 for 1 - 2 hours of work!!!!!

THEN the electrician tried to up-sell me,

- for a total of $525, Lazer would include a complete home electrical inspection

- for an total of $825, . . . (I did not let him finish.)

One, attempting to charge $230 - 465/hr for electrical work is outrageous.

Two, attempting to sell someone an unnecessary complete home electrical inspection is unethical.

This company's business practices are outrageous, unethical, and completely unprofessional.

I had a toilet draining issue and they were very courteous, detailed, and fixed it rather quickly. They were also very upfront about the costs and options involved. Maddie was very thorough.

They took advantage of my sister. A power line fell and pulled the conduit and meter away from the house. They re installed the box and conduit, they used the old parts. And maybe $10 worth of anchors and bolts. They charged her $1,000 for a $200 job. I tried to call the owner and he won't return my call. Avoid these scammers!

Terrible company. Asked them to come give us a quote after a downed tree limb pulled the electrical line off the house. They came out, looked at the location where the electric meter was, and immediately decided they would not work on it without a full house ""service upgrade"". I told them no thank you, still had to pay them their outrageous $70 ""call fee"". Have heard multiple reports of them ""upselling"" on every visit to a customers home.

We were really impressed with Maddie who took time to think outside the box about what could be causing our plumbing problem while also trying to stay within our budget. She did beautiful work drilling a hole in our bathtub tile for a new faucet head and the work area was cleaner after she left than before. She was reliable, thorough, and fun to chat with--we will definitely call her again the next time out old house springs a leak.

Friendly folks but I would not recommend this business. I contacted them to replace a leaking water heater pressure relief valve. I was selling my house and the buyer was requiring me to have fixed by a licensed plumber.The employee they send provides an estimate of over $500 including trip charge.I am no plumber but appears to be a relatively simple fix. I question the cost, and ask how long will it take to do the job, and am told around an hour and a half. Still expensive but obviously a more involved job then I thought, so tell him to proceed. He then completes the job in 20 minutes. $500 for 20 minutes of labor, a trip charge, and a $15 part. I asked what happened to an hour and a half? He tells me the job goes more smoothly then he thought.
Why would he tell me the job would take an hour and a half when it was actually a 20 minute job (that Youtube shows takes 6 minutes to replace)? You be the judge. If he gave me an accurate estimate of the time needed to do the job up front, I wouldn't have agreed to him doing the job at the quoted price. Shortly after using Lazer, I had some minor electrical work done, I of course use another licensed contractor. For a 45 minute job, the other contractor charges me $176 total. Seems fair. Lesson learned.

I am from Kansas City, staying at my parents house while my dad is in the hospital. I noticed a wire burning smell in the attached carport and turned on a switch to see what's not working and Zap. It bit me. Fire and smoke came out of the light switch. I don't do electrical or plumbing. I called a neighbor and he recommended Lazer Electric and Plumbing. They came out with in a couple hours and got thing up and running again pretty quick. Along with a bad switch, there was some faulty wiring installed who know how long ago. It was a problem just waiting to happen. I am very grateful for the quick response and quality work. I live to far away to do this any other way. Great job guys.

Lazer Electric equals complete satisfaction. We recently decided to have electricity ran to my shed/work shop. We called several companies and decided to go with Lazer. They were professional, friendly and very curtious from the first phone call to the end of the job. The quote for job was right on the mark. It was exactly what they said it would be and not a penny higher. I've never dealt with a service company of any kind that was as professional as Lazer Electric. I am enjoying the time in my shop and I owe it all to Lazer. I will always recommend Lazer to family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Thank you Lazer Electric!!
