Had Lazer Home Services come out to look at our AC unit. We seen their advertised price of $79.00 ""A/C Repair Assessment + Same Day Service"" Mike came out. Dis an assessment on our unit and told me it needed to have Freon added that it was low. He said I had 2 options. Pay him $167.00 today for the service call or have the Freon added at a cost of $847.00 I about fell over backwards that they could get away with that type of over charging. i paid him and told him to leave and watched as he unhooked his equipment. I am an elderly man living on a fixed income. I don't know if because I was old they thought they could get away with it or they try to do it to everyone. Screw me once, shame on you. There will never be a second chance. I called another company Precision Heating and A/C who came out and done the job for under $300.00

Have used lazer electric 3-4 times for plumbing, electrical etc. fast response but every time when done they were much more expensive than I thought they should be. This last visit took the cake. Furnace was acting up. They diagnosed a small part needed replaced. Quoted $396.00 for the part plus install and service call total almost $500. Had to go to some place in Urbandale for part. While he was gone I googled the part. Found it on internet for around $10. Called lazer and cancelled the call. Then called a different company. Next morning they came and diagnosed part didn't need replacing simply cleaned the part and furnace working fine. Instead of $500 total estimated cost at lazer total was $146.00 total. Big difference. You decide who you call.

Unprofessional. Cory walked out on me and my husband because he didn't want to ""get yelled at"" for a poor job that was partially his fault for hiring a sub contractor to fix their mistake. Don't be sorry, be better. Your customers pay your bills and feed your families. A little empathy for such a poor job would have been better than playing victim. May I add that upon him leaving the home he cussed aloud to my husband while walking away. Idk how he still has a job with this company. SMH

Requested a quote to fix a tripped GFCI (easy fix). Representative refused to provide a quote over the phone and recommended a service visit. Technician showed up, looked up the amount on his iPad, and recommended a ~$170 diagnosis. I asked him the price to swap out the GFCI and he said it would be ~$270. I think this means I would have paid $510 in total (= $170 diagnosis + $270 GFCI + $70 service charge). I declined the service, because the price seemed too high, and I fixed it myself in 30 minutes. I was charged a dispatch fee, and called and attempted to resolve it, but the customer service representative refused to refund me the fee. I will not be using this service again.

Just fix my damn AC! Don't tell me my AC is old. It's 8. WTF is a matter with your team? Who replaces an 8 yr old appliance?

Called with two water heater issues. $700 later and still have both issues. This was $200 less than they wanted to charge me initially.

They came to fix a leak in the wall near the wash machine. The job was done, but they made such a big mess and didn't clean up well. Also they turned down the thermostat on the hot water heater to a temperature that made the hot water room temp without us asking. Good thing we know how to adjust that or we may have been charged for something that some homeowners do not know how to do

Nate arrived on time and prepared to install kitchen faucets, including one for our reverse osmosis system. He was quick, efficient, friendly. I later had concerns regarding the RO system faucet. He responded to my questions/concerns the very next day. The company is prompt with callbacks and Nate was oustanding in plumbing skill and knowedge!

Today we had Jerry come over to work on our HVAC system. He did an incredible job getting that squared away.

We've had Lazer out a few times and they are incredible to work with. Not only for HVAC but also electrical. They installed my central air unit and rewired most of our house.

I'd highly recommend them not only for timely service but for amazing customer service.

I'd recommend joining their Home Care Club, as well.
