Moved into an older home a couple months ago. And we all know the story... old homes = new problems LOL!! Last night the washer decided to drain out the kitchen sink, all over the counters and all over the kitchen floor. We called Layland before 9am this morning and they were at our home within 20 minutes and fixed our problem. Fast, courteous and knowledgeable!!

We used Layland Plumbing for the first time when we remodeled two bathrooms. They were easy to work with and knowledgeable. Based on that experience, we called on their services again when we experienced problems. Two guys came out but were not able to fix the problem. $385 later they said it appeared to them that the septic needed to be pumped out; and assured us their work was guaranteed for 30 days. We immediately had the septic pumped out, but this did not fix the issue. We contacted Layland the following Monday and two more guys came out, pulled a commode, snaked the line and ran a camera. Still, the issue was not fixed. They came out a third time, pulled a different commode, snaked it and ran a camera. All of this was done well within the 30-day guarantee time frame; however we received another bill. My husband went to dispute the bill and was told "they didn't charge us for the camera." There were no stipulations as to what was and was not guaranteed. We won't be calling on them again.

I thoroughly enjoyed doing business with these people and they took excellent care of me. Excellent communication and advice throughout my complex build. One thing that people forget is that we are all human and we all make mistakes. The difference is some people take responsibility for them and some don't. These people won't do you wrong, it's how they managed to stay in business over 100 years! Support your local business people and keep your money local.

After a botched "service call" from a different plumbing company, I turned to Layland Plumbing to come out and reassess our situation for a bad odor in our house that we couldn't locate. Layland immediately realized that the previous companies smoke tests weren't performed correctly and did their own smoke test and repairs to a poorly seated toilet base and they did it for HALF THE COST of the original plumbing company that we had called out. This didn't fix the problem completely but they offered a 30 day warranty and seemed more than happy to come back out and further look into the cause of our problem which turned out to be another failed wax ring. After more testing (at no additional charge), they made another repair and this has fixed our "smell". Dealing with Layland Plumbing was nice, professional, and good old fashioned amazing customer service. James (the plumbing tech) was so smart and great at what he does, and the owners wife, Amberly, was so helpful and went above the call of duty to assist us with getting our issue fixed. I would and will highly recommend Layland Plumbing to anyone who might have a need for their services.

I absolutely would use Laylands Plumbing in a heartbeat! We just built our dream home and from the beginning Amberly and the ENTIRE team have been absolutely wonderful!! Ryan the team leader has been a true professional and anything I asked for promptly addressed!! When it comes to bidding jobs you get what you ask for! Less isn't always best especially when it comes to great quality work!! They don't cut corners so don't ask! I love them and can't wait to see how they continue to serve our community!!

Excellent work by the guys that work at this outfit, but management is rude and try to commit fraud by charging double of what the original estimate was. I was quoted 650 to 750 dollars tops for the job, and they tried to charge me $1480 which is double the amount. Aftet arguing with the representative on the phone I ended paying $950, still 20 percent more than the estimate, but I was told not to ever call them back for any service. That's NOT the way of doing business. And btw....tbe way they tried to get away with it is by sending a different repairman than the one that gave the estimate. Don't fall for it!!!
