Great price and service! Unclogged pipes and cleared blockage. Got a snake and then hydrojet to clear out all the gunk. Hopefully this keeps our pipes nice and flowing. Andy was super helpful and prompt.

After such a rainy winter, our outdoor drainage system had reached its limit and started to back up. We called Andy, and he and his team were out the next day. They figured out that some plant roots had made their way into the pipes and caused the clog. They were able to remove the clog and pinpoint the point of origin, which ended up being a drain hole that had been covered up over the years. All in all, it was a great experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend them or call Andy for any future homeowner issues.

Needed a clog in my bathtub cleared on a Saturday since I often work out of the area during the week and Andy was quick to respond with reasonable quote and got in to fix my drain the same day. A lot of other places had said they could not fit me in until Monday so I was especially grateful that I could get a plumber to come out to do the repair on the weekend.

From start to finish Andy was very professional and friendly and did a great job while also leaving the areas clean afterwards. Great service and highly recommend!

Basic Job: replacement of 2 shower valves and installation of a whole house hot water valve.

Andy's a nice guy but it's obvious he has no clue about plumbing.

We live in a condo with shared hot water supply with the other 6 units. We have to arrange with the management company and pay a fee to shut off the supply to our unit. In consultation with Lay It Rite, we arranged a time and had the water shut off.

Andy showed up a half hour after the scheduled start time. Even though he had told us we needed a small access hole, he proceeded to cut out a 3'x3' rectangle of drywall behind the first shower valve. He had no clue what he was doing and had to call in his ""technician"". They installed a valve that only controlled the hot water to the one shower, and installed it so that the valve handle was behind the pipe work on the backside of the valve and totally inaccessible.

When they replaced the shower valve, they didn't install it correctly, and it wiggled and moved when it was used. Andy claims that's the the way it's supposed to be. They also used a huge escutcheon behind the shower handle, even though they didn't cut into the shower surround.

They never replaced the second shower valve, and finished what they did do three hours late.

I asked them to not return and had to hire another plumber to fix the shower valve and a handyman to replace and paint the huge hole in the drywall. The second plumber laughed at what Andy had done, took pictures to show around the office, and charged me $300 to fix it. The drywall bill was $480 instead of the installation of a small access port.

All in all, Lay It Rite charged me $950 and failed to replace the shower valve correctly, failed to replace the second shower valve, failed to install a whole house hot water valve, and failed to minimize the damage to the drywall. I was forced to pay an additional $780 to fix the damage from their work.

If you do plan on using Lay It Rite, make sure it's a straight-forward task that requires minimal plumbing expertise, and make sure get the estimate in writing.

Andy arrived on time to assess our outdoor drain issues. We knew we had a problem with tree roots clogging our drainage from our front courtyard out to the curb. Andy spent a great deal of time listening to our concerns and then went to work evaluating the problem. We talked about costs and he was very reasonable. He was very methodical and started with the use of a special drain camera to locate the blockage. We had tree roots blocking the flow of water. He and one other guy went to work carefully digging alongside and under our walkway. They found the problem fixed it and improved the quality of pipes. They cleaned everything up beautifully and a few days later we had rain and it worked beautifully. What was above and beyond was that Andy checked with us on several occasions to be sure all was well. Great guy super hard worker. We'll certainly use them again. Highly recommend!

The house had a leak that was coming from the garage and outside into the backyard. Andy was able to find the location of the leak during the first inspection. Andy and his team came out to fix the leak in a timely manner and even closed off the area with drywall and cleaned up the debris.

Andy came on a Saturday to my call to clean the roots out of my sewer. We agreed on a price to install a 2-way cleanout. Then he showed up Sunday to do the job. Couldn't finish on Sunday but came back Monday to finish the job. Pricing was fair and he did a great job. Won't hesitate to call him again.

I had an emergency main water line that was backed up and couldn't figure out what was causing the issue. I contacted Andy and he walked me through what to do in the meantime. He was able to come out that same day and use a camera to find the problem and temporarily shut off the water for me until the mainline pipe was repaired. He was able to find the cracked mainline pipe and replace it with a new water line with a clean out in front of my house for easy access. Andy was very professional and knowledgeable and very thorough with the whole project. I had my water up and running that same day.
