From a young age, Lu learned the trade by working with his father, who had a landscaping and custom water feature business. Lu learned early about the importance of customer satisfaction for repeat business. Lu developed the ability to listen to clients and provide solutions that fulfill their requirements. As a young adult, he worked for a water filtration company. He specialized in installing tailored water filtration systems for homes and businesses. Lu embarked on his plumbing apprenticeship journey in his early twenties. When health issues arose in his wife's family, they relocated to Georgia, where he established LAV Plumbing.
