Hailey W.Lascko came out to help with a clogged pipe and they told me it was filling with sand and couldn't be cleaned out and would require excavation and replacement. This was quoted around ten thousand dollars.
Had a different company come check it out for a second opinion and they showed me the camera as they snaked it through, explaining there was absolutely no sand and that it was just the usual roots and some sludge blocking the way. They cleaned it out for $325.
Very upset Lascko tried to lie for such an expensive difference in cost!
Joel M.Had Lascko repair/replace sprinkler vacuum breaker piping. While Cory did a nice job and was very professional, the work was outrageously expensive. I paid $960 for a 15 minute estimate and the actual job, which took all of 55 minutes. I provided a new vacuum breaker, so the only parts provided were about 2.5 ft of copper tube, a hose faucet and a few elbows/connectors. I won't use them again as these costs are not justifiable.
George J.Quick to respond in reference to my schedule. Professional, yet friendly. They went above and beyond to fix the current issue and avoid it in the future.
Mike and Cameron came to our home today on an emergency visit. They were extremely helpful and kind. They were able to stop further water damage from occurring in our home after our hot water heater failed. They were thorough and answered all our question.
Travis R.I had a sink that was slow to drain and after Lascko came out they told me to use Liquid Drano and charged me $800 dollars after I tried the Drano and it still didn't work they sent out another guy and wanted to charge me another $300 dollars. After contacting Lascko 3 times to have a manager go over the bill and contact me with no response I will never use there services again.
I had a complicated drain problem requiring an old drain to be re-directed from an old drain field to the septic system. The professionals from Lascko had a can-do attitude the entire time and found a creative solution to get the job done. Others who quoted the job stated that they thought it was nearly impossible, but Lascko just got after it and got it done. Impressive and our new ""go to"" plumbing professionals.
Lascko was hired to put in a vanity with sink and toilet. In order to put in the vanity they cut an expensive hardwood cabinet and made it unusable. When I told them to work the job to fit the cabinetry. For every change in the process they had to go to the project manager who quickly added another $1,000, quickly adding up. So, I paid thousands of dollars for a small bathroom remodel where they ruined an expensive cabinet, left it so that the drawer could not be used, chopped up the cabinet bottom making it unusable. In other words. Now I have to find another cabinet and hire someone to fix the mess they left.
I thought going with LASCKO and paying premium dollars meant I'd get quality work. Instead I got a hack job.
LASCKO IS A SCAM.
Ngan N.My mom had an issue with her furnace and we had Joel at Lascko come out this past Sunday to look into the issue. A part had to be purchased and he had to come back on Monday since the supplier was closed on Sunday.
I appreciated the scheduler and Joel's communication and follow-up. Everyone was courteous, timely, and upfront on time and cost. Joel repaired and restored my mom's heat today. Thanks Joel and Lascko for your great work! Definitely recommend!
Caryn D.John and Adam hooked us up! (Literally!!) They were both very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They answered any questions we had, no matter how big or small. They kept their work area and our home clean. In two days we received a new furnace, heat pump, and water heater. I would recommend Lascko anytime! I wouldn't except anything less from such a great company.
Pros:
Lascko has come out when it was difficult to find someone on short notice.
Some of their techs are friendly and knowledgeable but not all.
Some of them actually did good work.
Cons:
I experienced several miscommunications. Signed up for their $15 monthly program which gives preferred customers priority scheduling. However, it took speaking with several reps to determine that they kept sending it to the wrong email address and didn't bother to verify it with me.
Preferred scheduling also has its down side. I was called on one occasion when I had requested service and was told that if they did not come out at that moment, I would have to wait until the next week to get help. I really disliked finding out at the last minute when they were coming out.
They came out to fix my leaky kitchen sink one time and I was overcharged. After the tech left, the sink leaked again because the tech did not tighten everything up properly.
The last tech who came here to do my annual water heater and furnace inspection was here for two hours. I was not even given a timeframe as to how long it would take. I know that I heard him talking on the phone but it did not seem to be about my home. The next thing I knew, he came up and said that the appointment would have to be rescheduled and finished up another day and could take another one and a half to two hours. He said the regulator for the gas intake outside needed repair so I had to call our gas company. I got that fixed the same evening and have yet to hear back from Lascko. He assured me that Brian, their scheduler, would take care of it but he did not.
After the tech left, I discovered that he broke the access panel for our furnace. It was a piece of drywall cut out of the wall with framework around it. It was created by the previous homeowner. Apparently it had been painted shut so the technician just ripped it off and split the bottom of the drywall, separating the body of it from the rest of the panel. It will have to be remade. He could have at least told me that he was struggling with it and I could have tried to remove it myself and accept responsibility for it if it broke.
Before he left I asked how long the visit was expected to take upon his return, because I had no idea. He seemed quite resentful of my impatience, but I don't like having strangers in my home for hours on end.
At this point, I do not want them back in my home.
