Larry's Septic Tank Service
Company Overview
Larry's Septic Tank Service offers septic system assistance in Bastrop. I'm Cody Goodwill, the owner of Larry's Septic Tank Service. The business was founded in 1993 by my father, Larry Goodwill, and he operated it until a tragic accident took him from us on a car accident on the 29th of July, 2009. His absence left a significant void in our lives and the community. From that date until the 11th of June, 2014, we paused operations while we processed our loss. I didn't consider reopening until early 2014 when I felt a calling to revive it. With help from my wife, Kimberley, and my mom, who originally handled scheduling and calls, we relaunched in June 2014 and are happy to be back serving the Bastrop community and nearby regions once more! Our focus is on the best interests of our customers, and our goal is to treat you like family and do the job right on the first attempt. We have no hidden fees for finding or digging up the tank, or for pumping out more than expected. The quoted price is what you pay for each load we remove.
Thanks for your support, and may God bless you.

5 stars for the responsiveness and communication of Cody in particular when it came to getting a visual inspection prior to the expiration of our option period for a property out in Paige. He was able to make a last minute appointment (at 7am!) to come out and take a look for us and provide a professional opinion and basic quote.

I had a very tough Septic system mounted down a cliff face. Larry's was recommended to me from a friend. I had received a ludicrous bid for this job from other not very trustworthy company. Cody felt so bad for me he offered to buy additional equipment to get the job done. He also recommended a commercial company that might do a good job for me. They were able to do it at a 10th the price of my rip off company.
So one thing I can guarantee, this company is honest and helpful. I can't recommend good people like this enough.

Cody was reliable, ethical, knowledgeable, experienced, honest, and friendly. Excellent troubleshooter. They have a great reputation, and I was not disappointed. Their prices are fair, and you get what you pay for.

Called Larry's septic again 2 years later. This time Ethan arrived on time and as expected. He called in advance to confirm distance from the road to my septic tank since it had been raining. He had 125' of hose so no problem reaching my septic tank. He was efficient and professional and even made sure to turn off the spicket to the hose I put out for him to use. I will use Larry's septic in the future for all of my properties and would recommend them to anyone who needs septic pump out service.

Cody was TERRIFIC... After waking him, he visited on the phone with us for 20 minutes!!! Didn't think he could make it out. Oh, btw, we had huge septic issues and out of town company arriving. Called about an hour later and said he could come out... When he knew he was going to be a bit late, called to let us know.. WOW! Then, spend two hours with us in the rain helping us sort out the problem. Very informative, courteous and helpful. Took his time, no hurry.. and helped us out so much. Will definitely use him again and high recommend him. Love family operated businesses that care!

Nice guy. ON TIME! How often does that happen? Very thorough and informative. Answered every question I had. Made sure that there was no damage to the surrounding landscape. Excellent service. Will use again!

I'm so glad that we hired Cody to inspect the septic system on the property that we were considering purchasing. Not having a septic system or really knowing anything about it, we got lucky, as finding septic professionals doesn't seem to be the easiest endeavor!
We had an appointment scheduled for noon I think, but we live in Austin so we were planning to drive to Bastrop to meet him, leaving town at 11 am. Cody called around 9:30 or 10 to say that he was running ahead of schedule, that he would be arriving earlier than anticipated but that we didn't have to be there. Great! Not only was he on time, but a full hour early! Unfortunately, we ended up running an hour BEHIND, but despite the fact that we showed up two hours after he did, we found him to be friendly, helpful, and professional when we finally connected.
Sadly, there were some suspect issues with the septic system that was on the property... but Cody did a great job of explaining the issues at hand, as well as how a septic system works, so that we could easily understand the problems that we could potentially face by using the system in its current state.
Ultimately, we chose not to purchase the property when the seller refused to renegotiate the price based on Cody's findings. I feel so thankful for Cody's honesty with us, we could have easily trusted someone else telling us exactly the opposite, purchased the property, and had immediate issues, so thanks for helping us avert a disaster! I would call Cody again in a second if we ever needed any septic related services, and would highly recommend him to anyone I know!

We did not have that much knowledge with septic tanks when we bought our property. When I found this company I couldn't of found anyone better to care for my home. They are very knowledgeable and helpful so you know exactly what is going on! Wonderful family and employees are respectful!

I was contacted by Cody Good will and told about the other guy who was posing as the new owner of Larry's Septic Service.
I will use Cody at Larry's Septic Tank Service because he cares about his customers and his business. It is a shame that the other person would rather run a scam than work for a living.
If you want to experience great customer service by a honest, hard working gentleman, give Cody a call at the CORRECT PHONE NUMBER: 512-985-6570.

Cody's late dad would be proud of how his son is running Larry's Septic Service. I'm guessing it was Cody's wife who answered the phone almost immediately when I called one morning. She gave me the best estimate AND the earliest opening I found in the four places I called. When torrential rains appeared in the forecast for our pumping date, Cody called to reschedule for a few days later but said that if the rains cleared up early he would call to sneak us in. Sure enough, the rain did clear up early and he did call to see if we were available! Cody called before arriving to make sure we'd be there and though my husband swore he would be, of course my husband was running late. Cody had no hint of annoyance in his voice when he arrived to an empty house and called me to check in...though he sure would have been completely justified in being annoyed. My husband, being a man of few words, even told me later, "He (Cody) was a really nice guy." I'm so glad we gave him our business. So many times in life you have to wonder if the next person is trying to screw you over...I get nothing but honest, hard-working, does-what-he-says-he's-going-to-do kind of vibes from Cody at Larry's Septic. At the risk of sounding like a crack-pot, I have a very strong feeling Cody's late dad Larry IS watching from "the other side" and IS very proud.
