I hired Larry Teague & Sons Plumbing at the beginning of July 2012. I did not realize that the company was not owned by Mr. Teague. It is owned by Louis Stuart and a lady. Anyway, I knew things were going bad when the tile guy did not show up on the first day. The second day, no tile guy again. The no-show tile guy hired a sub-sub contractor to demo my old shower. They broke my pipe and caused some damage to the exterior of my house. As the weeks progressed, either a sub-contractor would not show up or come in late. Usually a phone call was not made by the sub-contractor until I started complaining. Then almost everyday after that, the sub-contractor would call when he was late which was everyday. Sometimes he was late several hours. It took almost a month for this shower to be completed, Other plumbing companies told me it should of been done in 1 week. I filed my first BBB complaint against this company. After the shower was completed, I noticed the damage to the outside of my house. I reported it to the owner, Louis Stuart. First, the owner has a problem returning phone calls. He said he would send an employee out to the house to look at the damages. The employee said it looked like that they did the damages. I tried to call the owner and after that and I had no success in contacting him. I was trying to set up a date to fix the damages. I filed my second BBB complaint. While I was on vacation, the owner left a disturbing message on my answering machine stating that we have an urgent problem and he will be calling my boss at work. He stated in an e-mail that it was something about my conduct with an employee. Is he kidding! Whatever he thinks he has , it is bogus. I have never been THREATENED by an owner of a company before. And I use that word company very loosely. I am now in the process of filing a lawsuit against this company for the damages. Another lawsuit will be filed for liable if the owner goes through with his threats. I will also be filing a complaint with the city, state, and the insurance commissioner. The owner is rude, unprofessional, and should not own a company. He used to own a seafood restaurant. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE A DISGRACE TO THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! LOOK AT ALL OF THE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. I NEGLECTED TO DO THAT. THE REVIEWS WILL GIVE YOU A GOOD PICTURE ABOUT HOW TERRIBLE THIS COMPANY REALLY IS.

This plumbing company is a rip off! They do not cover warranty and labor like they say. Instead they leave a big mess and a sink hole in your yard.

TEAGUE HOME SERVICES- I interviewed and received quotes from five companies to replace my 3.5 ton Trane that lasted 17 years. This company charged me the fairest fee, $2,000 less than all the others. End result, my hallway looks better than before. The installers, Rob and John, worked very hard and I am more than pleased with the end result. The owner/operator called me after the install to make sure I was happy with the install. AC Unit runs beautifully.

Good price but installation and follow up fell well short, charged extra for larger return grate, cut huge hole in wall for it. but six months on and many many calls, still have refused to finish the job or return the extra money, installer was lazy, had a leak in system so he cut another hole in adjacent wall to access, left that hole as well as wires hanging out of the wall by thermostat. Avoid this company if you want a quality install.

Do your research this company is horrible!!!! Owner will not return calls back on a brand new system in the middle of July that hasn't been working sense I got it. Had to call and make like I wanted to buy a new system with a different name, he called me back in 2 min. If you want it done right go with someone else! If you don't want call these guys 20 times a day to get them to return your phone call go with someone else. Look at the reviews from other sites they are not going to survive.

MY OPINION: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WHATEVER YOU DO!! Bought a brand new Rheem AC unit from them and had them install Feb 2014 bc they had the best price after shopping around. The owner, Luis, assured me he had a great technician to install it and we would have nothing to worry about. Had nothing short of 10+ service calls within the last year and 5 months for both heating and AC issues. Consistently rude every time you call, poor response time and then expect you to get home at drop of a hat when they do call you back, usually the next day. They will always tell you the owner Luis will call you. He won't get back to you most of the time and even if he does you will just be wasting your own time talking with him. Completely incompetent company, owner and staff from our experience. Finally after a total failure of a brand new AC unit 17 months after purchase (in mid-August!) we decided to call another HVAC company to come take a real look at it. Fan and motor completely broken due to poor install. Technician was able to list about half a dozen other things done poorly on the install contributing to our endless service calls. I will be reporting this to BBB, Ken Amaro, whoever will possibly help other people not have to go through this. This company operates like a total fraud and should not be in the HVAC business from our perspective. PLEASE LEARN FROM US AND SAVE YOURSELF!

DON'T USE THEM!!!! They Installed my brand new unit in September 2020, the unit has stopped working. I have called this business and have got no help with getting my unit repaired or replaced. It's been three weeks now since my initial phone call for repair and now I'm being told they don'y have anyone. It has not been a year since the unit was installed and they don't stand behind their work. They are just eager to take your money and do nothing else. as I quote the owner tell the installer """"You need to hurry up with that because I need you on an install"""" They make their money of installing not coming out to repair what they installed. We don't matter once they got our install money!! I will also be reporting this to the BBB as well. This is horrible service, customer service and customer satisfaction. To not at least respond to the customer is even worse you act like we are bothering you, but we weren't a bother when you were selling the product and taking our money! Yes we can all post pictures on how nice the install was, you just wait until yours break down, let's see how nice you are about your install then.

Not the plumbing side, but definitely the AC side. Do not recommend at all. Put in a new AC unit for me about six months ago and have had nothing but issues. The company sends out contracted individuals in their own personal trucks and the last two had nothing on their truck that was needed to fix unit. One guy cussed the whole time he was here and another was here for 5 hours and still didn't fix. Never have seen a Larry Teague AC truck. Louis / Lewis is the main guy who sold me my unit and is the rudest ever. The lady in office is nice but she can only do so much to get someone out for repairs. And she first seem to enjoy her job there. They close at 3 and on weekends. It took 4 days last time to do a repair on a brand new unit than said I owed money, wasn't covered """"under a new AC?"""" Don't waste your time with them.
