The quality of the work was fine, but at the end of the job I ended up paying a little over 400.00 per hour in labor. When I questioned the charge it was explained that they bill by the task not by the hour. That may work to the customers advantage in some instances but I think it's outrageous that in my case the task was easy and quick so that it equated to 400.00 / hour in labor costs. I know Drs and lawyers who don't charge that much. Insane price and will not be using this company ever again.

This low review is not for the service but the shady behavior that I found out after the technician left my house. The technician came to perform Spring/Summer maintenance for my Central Air, he moved freely in the house because I have one unit in the attic and another in the basement, and had no reason to suspect anything because of previous excellent service I had with this company. After he left, I was stunned to find out the next day, my basement door leading outside at my backyard, the security sensor for my house alarm was compromised. The sensor magnet from the door was removed and the remaining sensor on the frame of the door was pinned with a piece of ""plastic"" hold together by clear tape, so that the door chime won't work when you open the door and when you set the alarm at night, the alarm works, not recognizing that there is door unlocked. On top of that, the technician left the basement door unlocked -I guess when he return at night, he could go in and out of the basement door without tripping the alarm. It was an inside job, I live with my wife and we had nobody visited the house -that leaves the only outsider who came into my house was the tech. Quite frightening. I called the next day cancel the contract with them -the manager I spoke with said ""David"" was their long time employee and he could not do that. He must be preying with unsuspecting customers and he had never been caught before, that all I can think of. I wish I had security camera to nail the SOB.

Why do these guys keep playing games with pricing? First, round number quotes are ALWAYS suspect. Second, Larry and Sons? Who does the work?

This company did work that we had not authorized and sent a large bill demanding payment. I came close to filing a licensing complaint, but beware of dealing with this company - very sketchy.

Well, I guess this is a good way to use a vacation day, Larry & Sons never showed up. I called and they never put my appointment on file, and not much effort was put into helping with the situation. I never checked Yelp for reviews so, I guess my mistake.

I was not happy that it took a $49 service call to get an estimate on a hot water tank installation at a price that way outside of the budget that I had explained to the dispatcher during my initial call. I had initially left a negative review, but the service manager left me a voice mail and rectified the situation to my satisfaction. Communication during my initial contact wasn't that great, but at the end of the day they did demonstrate an ethical business standard.

Ok, So I couldn't post 0 reviews on this one(wish I could) but let's just say that I basically got royally ripped off about $200.00 over the price that most regular plumbers would have charged to have a backed-up shower stall,toilet and bathroom sink fixed. Yes, these things were fixed but 2 days later, they sent out a second plumber that told us that our system was ""backed-up"" again and we would need between $3,500-$14,000 of work to properly repair and fix it all back to normal again. That's when I smelled a rat. PLEASE do not use this company!! Their prices are highway robbery. Total rip-off artists. They should be ashamed of themselves. Preying on hard-working people who need a decent service done. Never again!

The continuing lies of Larry and Sons. My less than 2 yr old generator has a dead breaker. This is a fully warranted issue. Long infuriating story short L&S said since the generator had been moved, the entire warranty was voided. LIE. I've spoken with the Kohler Warranty dept. They looked up my generator only to discover the warranty was in the name of Larry & Sons, NOT us, the owners making payments on it! He gave himself a warranty so He'd not have to pay for anything warranty covered. Now, when a covered part needs replacement, they tell me that warranty is voided. I'm lied to by them, they whose name the warranty WAS in. I quickly corrected that info w/Kohler. Kohler informed me as well that the warranty went wherever we do. Only invalid if we sold it, or sold the home and left it for new ppl. Neither is the case here. Eric Corbett is a p.o.s.

I have had great experiences with Larry and Sons. I have had them do annual services on my HVAC system and a few plumbing issues. It was always easy to schedule an appointment and usually they can show up pretty quickly. Their office calls you when they are on the way to your house and they have always arrived within their window. I have worked with John and Andrew and they have been very polite and great with my dogs. They have always fixed our issues. I will agree that some of their prices do seem high, so like anything else always get second quote if you feel it is to high. I recommend them and will continue to use them. Thank you.
