Well, I guess this is a good way to use a vacation day, Larry & Sons never showed up. I called and they never put my appointment on file, and not much effort was put into helping with the situation. I never checked Yelp for reviews so, I guess my mistake.

I was not happy that it took a $49 service call to get an estimate on a hot water tank installation at a price that way outside of the budget that I had explained to the dispatcher during my initial call. I had initially left a negative review, but the service manager left me a voice mail and rectified the situation to my satisfaction. Communication during my initial contact wasn't that great, but at the end of the day they did demonstrate an ethical business standard.

Ok, So I couldn't post 0 reviews on this one(wish I could) but let's just say that I basically got royally ripped off about $200.00 over the price that most regular plumbers would have charged to have a backed-up shower stall,toilet and bathroom sink fixed. Yes, these things were fixed but 2 days later, they sent out a second plumber that told us that our system was ""backed-up"" again and we would need between $3,500-$14,000 of work to properly repair and fix it all back to normal again. That's when I smelled a rat. PLEASE do not use this company!! Their prices are highway robbery. Total rip-off artists. They should be ashamed of themselves. Preying on hard-working people who need a decent service done. Never again!

The continuing lies of Larry and Sons. My less than 2 yr old generator has a dead breaker. This is a fully warranted issue. Long infuriating story short L&S said since the generator had been moved, the entire warranty was voided. LIE. I've spoken with the Kohler Warranty dept. They looked up my generator only to discover the warranty was in the name of Larry & Sons, NOT us, the owners making payments on it! He gave himself a warranty so He'd not have to pay for anything warranty covered. Now, when a covered part needs replacement, they tell me that warranty is voided. I'm lied to by them, they whose name the warranty WAS in. I quickly corrected that info w/Kohler. Kohler informed me as well that the warranty went wherever we do. Only invalid if we sold it, or sold the home and left it for new ppl. Neither is the case here. Eric Corbett is a p.o.s.

I have had great experiences with Larry and Sons. I have had them do annual services on my HVAC system and a few plumbing issues. It was always easy to schedule an appointment and usually they can show up pretty quickly. Their office calls you when they are on the way to your house and they have always arrived within their window. I have worked with John and Andrew and they have been very polite and great with my dogs. They have always fixed our issues. I will agree that some of their prices do seem high, so like anything else always get second quote if you feel it is to high. I recommend them and will continue to use them. Thank you.

They came to my home to reseal a new bath tub faucet and replace one metal water turn on value that was leaking to the shower. Instead, they cut my copper piping and replaced it with cheap PVC piping and they replaced two metal water turn on valves with cheap plastic valves and the one turn on valve did not even need replacing. The person had to cut a bigger hole in the wall and the surround part of the shower to get that oversized faucet in the bathtub and because they did that it bowed the surround area of the shower. They overcharged me for the work. They cut a bigger hole in my paneling because the guy couldn't fit through the hole. They changed my new bathtub faucet with an overpriced faucet because the person said that have to change it to meet a regular homes code which I thought was a bunch of crap. Then I asked them to go make an estimate on a water turn on/off valve under my mobile home and they wanted and arm and a leg and so I go under the trailer to use the water faucet to hook up my water hose and now I cant turn on or off the faucet: when you turn the handle it is loose but fortunately no water is leaking from it and then their estimate for that was over priced. How is replacing copper piping and metal valves with cheap PVC piping and cheap plastic valves up with housing codes? They ended up charging me a ridiculous price for the job. THis review is for the Hagerstown company. not San Francisco Yelp has my location wrong

Always do quality work, but I was born at night but not last night. The prices they charge even with the service plan are borderline criminal. I was quoted 1,000 dollars for plumbing repairs. Somehow i asked to speak to the manager and he dropped it 250.00 dollars immediatly. I told them no thanks still way to high for that type of work. Called another reputable plumber and had the work done for 400.00. Again, they do great work, my electrical was done awesome but a bit high in the price but well done none the less.

Just dont allow yourself to be taken by their prices. Everything is marked up way above 100%. Get an estimate from another plumber. I went through homeadviser and they were great.

Larry and Sons has fixed our sewer problem and water softer; not cheap but good job. Would use them again. good customer service, good communication

After a week and a half without a kitchen sink, they did what it took to get us unclogged. We've had nothing but prompt, friendly service from these guys.
