- Fix a pinpoint leak that he detected and found an affordable way to fix it without ripping up my concrete

Wow! Requested a quote using the Yelp quote feature and Spencer, the owner of Large Plumbing responded saying he was just finishing a job in Rancho Santa Margarita and could be at my home within 30 minutes (which he was). The problem was my water heater pilot light would no longer stay on. Spencer quickly diagnosed the problem to be a faulty control valve and determined that my water heater was still under warranty. He was able to get the part replaced at no charge and only charged a small amount for labor. I couldn't be more pleased. He is knowledgeable, prompt, courteous and above all he's just a heck of a nice guy.

He is timely, responsive, professional, competent and generally a nice guy. He helped me through choosing a replacement bathroom vanity/sink, picked up the item when it was delivered to Home Depot, removed and installed, re-plumbed, and was meticulous in clean-up. He is my go-to plumber forever more.

We had an issue with our secondary bathroom upstairs. The water would not get cold anymore and stayed hot all the time to the point where it was not comfortable taking showers. We called Large Plumbing and he came out that same day. He knew exactly what the problem was and got it fixed fast. We have not had a problem with it since. I called Spencer to replace two hot water heaters in my home. This was not an emergency replacement so he came out to my house the next day to give me a bid and explain the installation and what was included. A competetive bid was promptly emailed to me with a few options for the water heater. One of the installations was tricky because it was in a hard to access crawl space. I was charged a little more for this one. We communicated by email while he helped me decide which water heater would best fit my family's needs and budget. Wanting to make the best choice, I had a lot of questions about my options . He was very responsive to my questions and I was able to decide and schedule the installations. Spencer's work was neat, the clean up was thorough and everything is working perfectly with ample hot water. I will call him for my future plumbing jobs.

Spencer recently did an excellent job installing a bay window in a efficient 3 days. I was told by other contractors I probably could not use the original glass which was only a few years old. I was also given quotes way over the quote Spencer gave me. He assured me it was not a problem to use them and saved me a lot of money. He left everything clean and neat. I highly recommend him and will have him do my bathroom next.
