I purchased a house needing a lot of work and the guys at Lanier Plumbing have fixed several problems for me over the last nine months. They have always shown up on time, kept me well informed of what they've found and how they plan to fix it, and then what they finally ended up doing after they encountered problems they couldn't anticipate in the beginning. They explained how I can maintain my ancient plumbing and educated me as to potential problems I might encounter in the future and at what point I should call them. I feel like they are partners with me in the maintenance of my old but charming home.

And I have to say how impressed I've been that these guys have such a great attitude about crawling on their bellies in the mud of my 13-15 inch crawlspace. I can hear them grunting and groaning as they work under there... bringing a grin to my face.... but they don't grumble about it a bit, in fact, they seem to love their job. I've actually become quite fond of the Lanier Plumbers and highly recommend them. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for... and these guys are well worth what I have paid for their services. I like them a lot.

We've had two separate plumbing issues in the past 3 weeks. For the first issue - a leaking bathtub faucet - we called about 10 plumbers (seriously, 10!) that either didn't return messages or didn't have someone available to come out in a reasonable amount of time. When Lanier answered and told me they could have someone out later that day, I was thrilled. The plumber showed up exactly on time and was here for a little over an hour; surprisingly, he only charged us for an hour, the parts were cheaper than other plumbers estimated, and the service fee was lower than I was originally quoted over the phone! They made a great first impression.

Then earlier this week, our toilet started leaking. Lanier was the first plumber we called, and once again, they were able to have someone come out the same afternoon, again right on time. They fixed the leak within an hour and I thought all was good, but a few minutes after the guy left, I tested it out and the flow was much less than expected. He had warned me of this as he left, but it already had a low flow before he arrived, so I thought that's what he was referring to. Unfortunately, the flow was at about 20% of what it was before he arrived and was basically unusable. I immediately called Lanier and they offered to send someone different out later that day, but I said it could wait and rescheduled for later in the week.

For the third time, the guy showed up right on time (and even beat me to the house while I was out a lunch). The new guy that came thought it would be a simple fix, but after being here for about 1.5 hours investigating, replacing parts, and adjusting water pressure, he was able to get it back to what it was before the leak (although still not 100%, though that was the fault of the original plumbing design, not anything Lanier did). He also said he would get back to me with a quote to replace the whole system with a proper design, and called within an hour after leaving with the information requested.

The best part though was since the first guy left it in a worse condition than when he arrived, even though he told me about the issue, and it was a mis-communication that was partially my fault, and I should have tested it before he left, they didn't charge us a penny for the second visit, neither parts nor labor!

After three great experiences with them, I cannot recommend Lanier highly enough. They will be our go-to plumbers for any future plumbing needs!

Exceptional service from start to finish. The woman who answers the phone is friendly and helpful, and she didn't get frustrated with me when I had to cancel my appointment not one, not two, but three times.
The work was well done and completed quickly. Unlike many of my past plumbing nightmares, they didn't try to nickel and dime me.
Before I contacted Lanier, I tried three other plumbers (all highly reviewed), none of whom returned my messages. While I was annoyed at the time, it all worked out for the best because it led me to Lanier. They'll definitely be the only plumbers I call from now on.

Wow, I love these guys. Lanier has come to our rescue more than once (one time for a non-working kitchen sink, and the other for a gas leak), they respond and work quickly, and their pricing is totally fair. They have saved me thousands of dollars (literally) in comparison to another bid that consisted of more work than necessary. It is always nice to find a trade company that you believe does great work - Lanier will do our plumbing work from here on out.

Phillip was very friendly and fast, and he explained everything for me. He even suggested a way I could fix a minor issue cheaply myself. The dispatch/billing side of the house was also amazing. I can't recommend these guys enough.

My husband and I just bought a house that was built in 1951. While not ancient, it needed some updates. We had some plumbing issues (leaks, pipes to replace) as well as updates (sink disposal, dishwasher) that were on our list. A friend recommended Lanier, so we called them and couldn't be happier about it. The plumber who came took the time to point out other things that we could do ourselves later (pipe insulation, vent for hot water heater), and explained everything to us in just the right amount of detail.

He was also prompt, cleaned up, and did all the good stuff that I expect out of service professionals.

We will absolutely call Lanier next time we need any plumbing work done.

After a recent (very) cold snap complete with snow I thought my pipes had froze and burst because there was no water coming from the bathroom sink and the shower pressure was very low. I was kicking myself for not letting the faucets drip. It had been a couple days since temperatures reached above freezing and still no water at the sink so I concluded that the option that the pipes had froze but not burst and would return to normal was not my good fortune.

So with a gulp, fearing the worst about the situation, I got on yelp to find a plumber. I was thinking "This is bad. This is very bad. How much is this going to cost? How much are we going to have to rip up the house to find the leak?"

Going down the list of well reviewed plumbers I found Lanier. A friendly woman, Cindy, answered the phone. She took time to listen to my thoughts on the predicament and was not rushed. Then she cheerfully explained other causes of low / no water pressure after a freeze and a simple solution I could implement myself.

Apprehensively I got off the phone holding out hope that her tid bit of advice was the answer. Magically! It was! I was overjoyed.

Genuine customer service impresses me and they obviously do it well. The interaction was professional but friendly. They didn't try to gouge me for money with a phone operator who just made the appt. and a plumber who came out for an exorbitant fee just to find my little problem. I didn't feel like I had the hoodwinked or duped in anyway. I plan to renovate part of my house soon and based on this experience and other reviews I will definitely call Lanier in the future.

I was called back promptly by a very pleasant lady. She scheduled me a plumber for the next day, and gave me a heads up call before he arrived. Phillip was courteous, competent and tidy. Quick too. My drain got augured out, the problem explained and advice on dealing with it.

Being a woman, I really appreciated that he spoke to me as if I was capable of actual thought.
