Justin C.We moved into a large home this past winter with 9 steam radiators and an on-demand water heater, all powered by an oil-burning furnace. Our heating bills in the cold months were outrageous, so we began investigating whole-home replacement heat pumps as a solution, plus installing a new 50 gallon Hybrid Heat pump electric water heater to replace the extremely inefficient oil-burning one. While the up-front costs are significant, the Mass Save incentives were pretty compelling, so we started getting quotes for our job. Tim from Landry Mechanical came out, and had a competitive price, and were able to answer all of our questions. A huge convenience was that Landry handled everything, including the subcontractor for removing the 275 gallon oil tank in the basement, as well as all of the radiators. Landry was able to remove everything and install the 7 Heat pump mini splits in exactly the configuration we wanted. Due to global supply chain issues, we had to wait about 2 months for the second outdoor condenser unit, but Natasha and Katie in the front office were wonderful with keeping us up to date with the process. Adrian and his crew did a fantastic job on site, and were extremely friendly and professional. We are completely happy with the system, and couldn't recommend Landry Mechanical enough.
Our central a/c stopped functioning and another company came out and said we would need a whole new system for 18K. We decided to get a second opinion and Chris from Landry fixed the system for less than $1500.00. So thankful for Landry!
Ilan G.Asked them to provide a quote for water heater install. Got a million texts from their automated system but the tech showed hours later than expected. When he came, he clearly didn't know anything about water heaters and tried to sell me on a furnace replacement for a perfectly functional furnace. Then got a million texts asking for a review of the work he had done. We did not end up using them, but I got the sense that these guys probably do mostly commercial work on new buildings, I wouldn't recommend for residential work. The tech also tried to charge me for the consultation, even though the dispatcher who sent him clearly told me there would be no charge for the visit (it's standard for plumbers to do a free consultation when considering a large project like a water heater replacement). Save your time and look elsewhere. Three stars only because they were courteous and didn't do any lasting damage other than wasting my time.
Ray, I scheduled a visit for assessment purposes and to get a quote. Tim visited me this morning and it was a very professional visit. He was able to answer all my questions and made recommendations on the spot. I am just waiting for a proposal now (which I hope will be fair). Reading all the comments - and most importantly - your responses; makes me believe you are a very professional company. Looking forward to receive the quote. Will post again with the progress.

I did receive the quote the same after the visit. Which is something to praise the company about.
Carpenter M.what a great experience in both getting our gas fired furnace fixed (broken starter, fixed the next day once new part arrived) as well as getting a 3 unit mini split installed this December! Here is what i love about Landry:
1. very professional and responsive via voice and email.
2. very skilled and creative in finding a way to install these units and run the lines in our 100+ year old house.
3.the quote for the mini split included all of the charges like for the electrician and we paid exactly what was in the quote. NO SURPRISES
4. workers were very quick and clean. we did not have to clean up after them at all and the install looks great and unobtrusive
5. the Landry office was very adept at navigating Mass Save and getting us a 0% interest loan to finance the mini split.
6. The Landry office made sure to follow up after the job to apply for our rebate.
7. from initial visit to installed was less than a month.
These jobs were not cheap but I feel like we got our money's worth. 100% TRUST AND RECOMMEND LANDRY.

theo v.So, I have used Landry Mechanical a few times now. I had a tankless hot water hear installed (Im sorry I cant remember his name. I think it was Matt McManaman??) and then I had that same hot water heater serviced by Mike P. each visit was great. Very personable, professional and knowledgeable! Then I had a new central air until installed by AJ Johnson and Roger Sampson and also two super nice guys as well as polite. They both were very knowledgeable and got the job done on a really hot day!
Here's the other thing, so far every person they have sent here so far as been animal lovers I have two dogs and three cats and all these guys have been great to them, that goes so far with me; even more so than customer service which, by the way, Landry Mechanical excels in.
I cannot recommend these guys enough!

I just had a wonderful experience with Landry Mechanical. My husband and I just sold our house and are scheduled to close in 2 weeks. As required by law, we had an inspection by someone from the town fire dept. This inspector gave us some wrong information about an upgrade that he said we absolutely needed in order to be compliant with regulations and to receive the certificate that is needed at closing. This ""upgrade"" would have required us to tear up our finished basement to move our oil line and cost thousands of dollars (according to him). I reached out to Landry and was told that we absolutely are already compliant because we have an OSV. They filled out a certificate of compliance right away for me to submit to the fire department. Crisis averted! I'm furious at the inspector who sent me into a major meltdown with his wrong information but grateful to Landry for helping me off the cliff. i highly recommend them!!!!!
Tuyen N.Woke up one morning and found the furnace muddled in puddle. ""Not good,"" I thought, and went to 'Yelp' for help. Came across Landry while scrounging the pantry for breakfast and boots and a wet vac to put to use. Ken came out and evaporated my pout, with a quick look, assessed the spout without doubt; fixed it up real nice so no more bathing for the basement mice. Now with heat and hot water warming our souls, I say: LANDRY MECHANICAL is definitely the way to go! Staying now warm and happy, and not a cry, the furnace burning smoothly with the basement floor dry.
