Horrible communication, they will schedule you for one day, ask you to switch, and then make you wait all day for someone to show up. I left work early to be here around the service time. They claim they will update you through the day about when your tech will show up, they don't, they send a generic text saying ""you're on the schedule"". I've spent over 3 hours before today trying to communicate with their team to set up a time that would work for me after working with them when they canceled on me because they were overwhelmed with service calls. If that's the case, dont schedule mine. If they ever show up I might go through and get the quote but they charge for that too. Will most likely go with someone else due to this beyond frustrating, totally unacceptable experience.

Call Landry if you want to get ripped off. I thought I was getting my A/C serviced. Turned out it was just an "" inspection"". Kid that came out said I needed a new start capacitor (~$25 at the supply house) and a new 30 amp contact switch (~$40) on each of my outside condenser units. Ok fair enough, they have never been replaced and the units at older. Here's the kicker. $1800 to replace 2 capacitors and 2 switches. Then, there was the ""premium service"". They spray some water through the condenser fins outside to clean them and clean the squirrel cages on the air handlers in the attic for a mere $2000 more. So $3800 to clean the dirt out of the air handlers and replace ~ $200 worth of parts ( that's generous on the parts).
I was born at night but not last night.
I had to give them one star to submit the review but they deserve zero.
Rip off!!!

Absolute ripoff. Understanding the cost for trade workers, insurance and running a buisness, they want to make a million dollars per job. Changing simple shutoff and a couple faucets is nearly $3000. Called a local, master insured plumber. Came and did it all in 1 hour, charged $750. I'm ok with making money, just not ripping people off and charging for estimates. If you want to give outlandish estimates, don't charge for them.

Yes!
They found the parts needed to repair the circuit boards that were burnt out in a surge of some type. Hoping it will work a little longer! Didn't try to over sell a new unit like everyone else wanted.
So appreciate the efforts they made to get this done! Devon was great, helpful and knew what he was doing! Thank you!!!!

Dear Mr Landry,

For your reference I refer you to invoice 48272600, Jan 02 2024.

The 'story', as you put it, is factually correct, with one exception. I provided feedback to your website on two occasions (rather than sending emails) but never received a response. I did, however, have a conversation with one of your colleagues, quite by chance, following an unsolicited phone from your office touting for business where I shared our concerns, regarding the work and pricing. The lady in question assured me someone would be in touch. No one did.

Landry Mechanical just installed a whole-home Heat Pump system in our house and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We received excellent customer service, communication, and work provided. Not being that familiar with Heat Pump systems, we relied and appreciated their knowledge and expertise. As someone who researches before calling, I knew that they had a very positive reputation, but I would say that they even exceeded our expectations. The complete job experience couldn't have gone smoother, from help with all the Mass Save paperwork to scheduling and time estimates, all good. I would highly recommend this company for excellence all around and for their top-notch employees.

This is a fantastic company with an owner that really takes pride and making sure his customers are satisfied. It's refreshing to see somebody run a business and actually care about feedback. Evidenced by their consistent overwhelmingly positive reviews. It's the clear choice of a great company to work with. Would highly recommend. Everyone I've come in contact with this company has been friendly and helpful.

The process of getting an estimate for a new whole home generator install was excellent. David did a fantastic job, and I was excited to move on with the process with Landry. They are local to me and despite them being a bit more expensive than others, I always try to utilize local business when possible. Here is where the good stops. I was approved for financing for my project but there was an issue with the rate that I asked them to see if they could work through for me. I was told to work with Nicole in the office but after leaving multiple messages and receiving no call back, I gave up. My wife calls their office and is told that she is just finishing up a phone call and she would call my wife back. After waiting all day with again, no follow up, I call the office to find out why no one called back, and I am told Nicole wasn't even in that day. I ask to speak with a manager, and I am giver to a different woman, and I explained everything to her. Although she seemed interested, she stated she would call me back and once again, no call back. Worst thing you can do to a potential customer. After repeated calls and having to leave messages every time, and after a total of three and a half weeks with no follow up, I went to the office myself. I spoke to the plumbing manager who was there, and he listened to my issues and told me he would follow up with me the next day. WHICH HE DID! First thing in the morning I received the quote I had been asking for weeks for and a follow up call from him. One thing he did say to me was that they were VERY busy and were struggling to keep up. Albeit a great problem, if you do not do what you say you will and give customers the attention, they deserve you will not have that problem for long. I asked to receive a call from the owner Ray and have not yet received that. The office seems to be an utter disaster and could not be more unhelpful. After all of this, I was left with such a horrible taste in my mouth, I chose to not even complete my project at all. If you want a company that pays attention to details, you may want to look elsewhere. If you want a company that provides good and constant communication, you DEFINETELY need to look anywhere else. To use their words to me, they are far too busy to focus on customers' needs and are more concerned apparently with the quick, easy sales and not any customers that require a bit of attention. Very unfortunate as I really wanted to hire them.

Where do I start? The estimating process and install was quick but that's about the only pleasurable experience I had with Landry back on 12/2022.

After the furnace was installed, the exhaust pipe to the chimney fell into the house emanating fumes into the house. Good thing it happened while I was awake or I may not be typing this. Called them back to the house and this time it was securely mounted.

Fast forward to a year later when I had the furnace serviced. The serviceman noticed that an oil filter had not been installed on the original install. Shame on Landry for sending an incompetent install team. No oil filter installed and improper mounting of the exhaust which could have caused a death! They say all their technicians are all certified blah blah blah and they go through the proper training. Clearly someone missed a class or two.

So the technician who notices no oil filter on the unit installs one. Two days later my furnace stops working! He comes back out, bleeds the line and says I'm all set. A day passes and the same issue. This went on for two weeks, tech comes out bleeds the lines it works then it stops. After discussing with the service manager many times a resolution they wanted to ultimately change my oil tank at a cost of about $5,000. Stating The tank was failing. I explained how does the furnace work for a year with no problems, you install an oil filter and now it does not work properly.

I demanded they remove the oil filter to see if it will work properly and it did and it has for over a month now! So here I am back at square one with a furnace that is probably out of a manufactured warranty because it was improperly installed with no oil filter from the beginning.

I have tried multiple times with their service manager to come to an agreement on a resolution even if it means replacing the oil tank at a cost. He was still coming back with a cost that was not in favor to a consumer who has had nothing but issues after the install. Charging almost double the cost of an oil tank.

So with all that being said where do I go from here? I paid over $10,000 for the new furnace and install with Landry to feel like I've been left in the cold with no reliable service after the fact. Shame on you Landry!

I suggest you retrain your staff, even your service manager who could have been prevented this bad review!!!!

prompt to pick up the phone and come out, and the techs are great...but VERY expensive. was quoted a flat rate to fix my furnace which I agreed to and prepaid them half for, they ordered a part and came back and we figured out it was still under warranty. they reworked the quote to exclude the part and told me I would pay their hourly rate for the fix. turns out that was $600 for less than one hour of labor. Invoice received just showed a flat rate for the fix, messaged them twice for an explanation and they haven't bothered to respond. I understand they have overhead but it all felt like gouging, and not responding to my messages really tells me to call someone else next time.
