Janaury 2023: Our sink was clogging - Lance came out and charged us $500 and our sink is still clogged - he tried to fix it AGAIN but now not only is it still clogged, it makes a gurlging noise SO HE OFFICALLY MADE IT WORSE. Dont let Lance come into your house - he is refusing a refund or to continue to work on it and said he will find a resolution for us-

March 2023: he is now ignoring my phone calls and won't call me back like his wife Melissa promised me - save the headache and call a different company

Lance's Plumbing in Sterling IL provided and installed a garbage disposal in my home on 10/17/22. The installer left for 15 minutes because he failed to bring a power cord for the unit. I was charged via a bill in the mail $213.99 for the unit, a Badger 5 1/2 hp disposal model 5-89 (serial # 21121045311), which retails for no more than $103. I called Lance's and spoke to Melissa and asked her why I was overcharged for the unit. I told her the retail prices I had investigated were over $100 less than what they were charging me. She stated that she didn't know what the retail price for the unit was and that they got their units from a supplier. I asked for a copy of the receipt from their supplier and she outright refused, stating that she didn't have to provide a receipt to me. I asked who the supplier was and she stated they had 3 in Iowa and rattled off the names Adel, First Supply and Wynn. I told her that if the supplier is charging them $213.99 per unit that they are overpaying. I asked again for a receipt of what the unit cost their company and she refused, stating again she didn't have to provide one. I stated that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB so perhaps she can produce the receipt for them and she told me to ""go ahead"". I could not access the pricing of the suppliers that she mentioned because I do not have a company account but the websites did mention ""wholesale pricing"" which would be less than retail. I believe I was overcharged for the labor time also due to the fact that the plumber left my residence for about 15 minutes but the overall time charge for the labor did not reflect that fact. I believe it is the contractor's responsibility to bring necessary parts to the job site and I would think that a power cord would be standard. The customer service was severely lacking. The installer spoke more to my dog than to me.

This company goes above the call of duty. They came next day and our plumber Kyle was very polite and courteous. When he was installing new toilets one was broken in the box. He came back and finished the job the same day. I would highly recommend Lance plumbing for any of your plumbing needs.

I was very pleased with Lance's plumbing. I got a new water heater installed and running in a very quickly after calling. Very satisfied with this company.
