So I'm giving 4 stars because this is the second time we've had scheduling issues that were no fault of the technicians. The technician, Greg, was blindsided by an emergency plumbing backup when he thought it was just an annual checkup. The women who keeps calling to schedule appts but then not actually scheduling needs some training. Greg was wonderful though. He gave us recommendations and was not pushy. He is definitely the only reason we aren't canning this company.

VERY friendly reception and scheduling staff. However I just had one of their plumbers out and they quoted $750 for replacing a garbage disposal (where one already exists). Called another place and was quoted half the price for the same job.

I normally call the Purple Plumber, but at the time he was busy. So I called Lancaster Plumbing and Heating. They were prompted, The guy looked it over and gave me an estimate of $888.00.. He said he had to call a second man. He went under my home and had to replace 2 pieces of plastic pipe and toled me my duct work was falling apart. He said he taped it together the best he could and it was still leaking air under my home. Now thi is from a man that does plumbing and heating.. Since there were 2 men there, why didn't he fix my duct work at that time? They took about an hour and a half to do what they did.. When he was finished, the 2 of them sat in the truck in front of my house for about 11/2 to 2 hrs and talked to each other. I will never call them again.. And also my heat duct still leaks the air under my home...

I've had a service contract with them for several years. Mark, as well as all the other techs who have come to perform routine maintenance as well as repairs and plumbing replacements, have all been very professional. They arrive at the promised time, have kept my systems running well, clean up when leaving, and explain all that they did. The office manager calls and reminds me when it is time to have my annual inspections for heat, AC and plumbing. I'd recommend this team, they may not be the cheapest out there but I've been happy with their professionalism and quality of work.

Don't EVER use Lancaster Plumbing & Heating to service and or purchase another heat pump from them. Their prices are inflated compared to other providers and they engage in dishonest business practices. They suggested since my unit was old to replace it but offered another option as well and that was to replace faulty parts and repair existing heat pump. After many parts and $938 later I was told my heat pump was running. After the tech drove off it died and couldn't be repaired. My money was not refunded but instead I was offered credit towards and extremely inflated priced heat pump. After much fighting with them they offered to match other quotes I had gathered but by this time we had chosen another company to do business with. We were in the middle of a heatwave and needed relief immediately. It was never stated in writing or verbally our money to repair the unit would be a tremendous non refunded waste. It would have been far less expensive for Lancaster Plumbing & heating to refund our money rather than finally offering to match another company's quote but this was clearly not an option the owner of LPH was willing to take. Now they have lost a very dissatisfied customer who will not fade away quietly.

Definitely do not recommend. They installed our sump pump, and in six months they had to replace it twice because it failed to stop the rain from flooding our basement. We bought and installed our previous sump pump ourselves and it lasted five years and cost a fraction of what we spent at LPH. They are not a good company, do not waste your money.
