His work is fine. He charges a lot and is very proud of his work which is reflected in his inflated prices. That said, his bedside manner is horrible and loaded with attitude if you question his work or invoices. His nickname on our project was ""Angry"". There are lots of plumbers in the area. Keep searching. There are people that will appreciate the work more than Brian. Never once received a thank you or any level of appreciation for the thousands we paid to him.

Haven't had a chance to actually use Lampman yet but when I called at 6:00 am to report a problem, Brian called me right back. We couldn't work together this time but I very much appreciated his call back so I could move forward with other options.

We have co tasted Brian Lampman for plumbing needs at our Tahoe cottage and we have been extremely pleased with both the quality of his work and his professional manner in completing the jobs we needed done.

The first job was to repair and completely redo a job formerly completed by a contractor or his apprentice that we had hired for a full kitchen remodel. All of the plumbing under the kitchen sink had been ""McGuyvered"", which resulted in a large leak all over the new wood floors. Brian fit is in quickly and replaced all of the plumbing under the sink, as well as changing the garbage disposal to the larger sink, which our contractor said couldn't be done.

Because of the excellent service we received on the previous call we had him return to pressure test a new gas line to our fireplace stove.

Nothing like being 400 miles away and you get a call saying you have a busted gas pipe. I was able to coordinate with Brian on the same day not only to have him look at it but he actually repaired the valve on the same day! I'm sure this is not always the case but he managed to fit me in on his already busy schedule. I would give 6 stars if allowed

These guys are awesome! I was referred to Brian 4 days ago. He made it by our house as a rush, called me to talk about the job. I was inclined to do a version that was less high quality. He asked to do a couple exploratory tests. The job was done the next day. Beautifully done in a difficult setting. Way less than budgeted on top of it. I will refer them to friends. ( actually did today). It is rare to be thrilled with a contractor.

We have had Brian out several times to take care of issues with our townhouse in Tahoe City. Since we use it as a second home and also a vacation rental, we are not close by and it is really important to have someone we trust to take care of problems that come up. Brian replaced the disposal in our kitchen sink quickly and efficiently. Most recently, a toilet was loose and Brian responded to our call by going out immediately to the house and taking care of it. The customer service, quality of work, and price have been far superior to any other plumber we had tried previously. We recommend him very highly!

I own a second home in the north Tahoe area that we rent out a fair amount. When things go wrong with appliances and any of the services, I need to know that I am going to get that issue remedied quickly.
Recently, the instant hot water dispenser went out in the kitchen, my father tried to replace the unit and couldnt finish the job....which is unlike him. I called Brian to pick up where we left off...I left a message and got a call back in 15 min in the middle of the day on Sunday! I had a feeling I got the right guy at that moment.
Brian came the next morning and assessed the situation... and got to work as I left for the drive back to the city. I got a call from him an hour later to inform me that the unit was defective and he had already talked to the manufacturer and set up the no cost return of the unit. The new one was drop shipped to him 10 dys later and installed in btwn rental periods without me having to make a single call....except for the one to say, "" Nice job Brian!""
