No call no show to fix a broken water heater
Called the next day and acted like it was no big deal that ""they didn't get time"" to make their appointment

Andy was efficient in diagnosing the problem when roots got into the pipe leading to the storm drain. He used a camera to see that roots had completely blocked my pipe. They dig up the pipe, cut out the clogged portion, and replaced it with new. Its now working like it should. They are easy to work with and I would definitely use them again.

The installer was here 20 minutes after the call, and bid out EXACTLY what we needed and nothing more! Trustworthy, fast, and about $5000 less than we expected to spend. Plus it will be in one day after the 4th of July, and they are relocating where the compressor will be. How can you top THAT? Adam is the best.

NEVER use Lamphere Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in Owosso. I called them first thing yesterday morning (8:30) and set up an appointment with them because our Sump Pump is going out- it was making an awful noise and smoking when my husband discovered it @ 3:30 in the morning. I told them all this on the phone and they promptly made me an appointment for ""sometime after 2 but before 5 because that's when we close"". My son gets out of school at 3:50 but we needed this fixed ASAP so I made the appointment and made other arrangements to get him home. 2:00 rolls around and I wait. And wait and wait and wait. Finally at 4:30 I think I better call them and make sure all is still a go. The lady says yes, they're running a bit behind but I'm still on the schedule and they'll DEFINITELY be here! So, again, I wait. Finally at 7:30 PM I gave up and admitted to myself that they weren't coming. No call or anything just kept me waiting all day and NEVER showed. I'm furious. This company has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced.

The real kicker is this was actually the second chance I was giving them because we needed this fixed and they ""supposedly"" could get to us right away. Last year when we had no hot water they showed up, looked things over, said they had to order a part and then never called me again! I called several times over the course of 2 weeks and got nothing in return- no return call, no part, nobody showing up to fix it like they said they would. Nothing. And every time I'd call they'd take my info as if they didn't already know me and I hadn't been trying to get answers for weeks. I finally had to go to another company who came out and fixed it all in the same day.

I've never seen such an unprofessional company in my life and I will not be giving them ANY more chances. I suggest you don't either.

I have had Lamphere's Plumbing and Heating for over 35 years and always had excellent service from them, and their employees that I have worked with were very polite, got the work done efficiently and fast. They always return my calls when I request them.
I have had furnace maintenance with them for that length of time as well as A/C work, and a water heater installed. They always leave the place clean and I will recommend them to anyone and every one.

had them come to my house today to run a gas line and the gentlemen was here from 8:20 a.m. to 8:45 a.m and charged $45.00 did not do anything but complain about our crawl space being to dump and did not want to do the work this company has very rude employees and would not recommend them

I DO NOT RECOMMEND LAMPHERES! They didnt install my furnace right, using single wall pipe instead of double wall, and attaching to an old existing out put with out checking the chimney or screening it, My chimney is packed with stuff(dirt, leaves, etc.). And now my furnace is red flagged unsafe for my home. The pipes rusted from over heating due to being a single wall and not able to withstand the heat, as well as only having it a couple years. DO NOT USE LAMPHERES FOR YOUR FURNACE!!!!!

Our air conditioning unit quit in 2014, Lamphere's sent someone who filled freon, it leaked out overnight so we probably have a leak. I called and left messages four times and never received a call back. This year I called and spoke to the office person who said the owner would call and come out end of week or early the next, again no call or visit. Obviously they have too much business to bother with us.
