Let me tell you about how PROFESSIONAL, UNDERSTANDING AND COURTEOUS this business an theiir employee is. Mike came by and did some drainage work for me at Pendell Commons, and he wad amazin. This issue had been going on for about two years with countless repair men trying to resolve tge issue and failing MISERABLY.He came we chit cgat and asked about tge issue. He snaked to 56 inches and at 40 inches said it was nothing but dirt in pipe from outside work. SO even though the former workman and maintainance man insisted it was oil and rice, it WAS A BLOCKAGE. Mike knew his job. This is a young plumber who seems more knowledgeable of his work than some older plumber. He was polite, explained the issue and did NOT LEAVE UNTIL ISSUE WAS COMPLETELY RESOLVED and he cleaned up after.I ESPECIALLY LIKED THAT. I would do business with this place again and recommend it. A 10 out of a 10 for me

if I could give less than one star I would but that's all it will allow me to give. This place has one and a half stars I wish I had seen it before I had them come. They charge $300 for a pot that cost $171, they left no receipt they gave no estimate they came and unscrewed the faucet took the cartridge out put the new cartridge in and put in or rather put back the old faucet and charged $700. Customer Service was extremely rude kept putting me on hold when I ask for a receipt or a warranty. And get this they say they don't give warranties for their work. Anyone that uses this company has to be out of their mind.
Run if anybody ever recommends them.

Wished I checked out the Yelp reviews vs the Google ones. Basement water puddle around the water heater area. Charged $125 an hour for looking at the plumbing problem but not trying to solve it. Only giving the additional star b/c the plumber was nice enough but the plumbing problem was still leaking and not fixed. I pointed out a small drip coming off the pipe and he said he didn't think that was it but I put a bucket underneath it anyway and the next day half the bucket is full. Now I have to look for a new plumber to solve this for me.

Fast response, came within minutes of estimated time, texted and phoned ahead when he was on his way. Highly competent and knowledgeable, was even able to give me a reason for the failure in my system (someone used the wrong joining technique when joining two different types of pipe). Will not hesitate to call Lambert in the future.

A Christian based business?NOT. Steve the owner is completely obnoxious and unprofessional. New to Poughkeepsie real estate and in the process of renovating the home i purchased 2 years ago. Called Lambert to come give us a quote on the plumbing needs to finish the basement. The pipes in the ceiling needed to be strapped up and cut to fit above the ceiling sheet rock. The first time Steve came out to the house, instead of calling to say that he was there, he just left a business card in the door after ringing a non working doorbell. When we called to find out why they didn't show up, he explained he rang the doorbell. I asked why he didn't call. He said because there didn't look like movement in the house. Needless to say my contactor and Co owner of the house was in the basement. I explained to him that we waited 2 months for this appointment and I thought it was worth a call to tell us he was there. He made an appointment to come back to the house a week later. In the meantime, he called the city to say we were working without a permit. We didn't realize he called until we called the city about a stop work order that showed up on my door after he told me I didnt have a permit, insteadof just letring me know i needed one. My contractor was from out of town and didn't realize that he needed a permit for work that was just being replaced. There had been black mold on the walls of the basement prior to us our purchasing the house and the molded sheet rock had to be removed, and now it was time to replace it. Because there were no new building being done, my contractor mistakenly assumed he didn't need a permit. Fast forward to Steve coming back to the property today to give us a quote. After viewing the project, he proceeded to tell us that unless we're were going to rent out the basement he didn't want to do the job. WHY is it his business what we want to do with our basement???? CLEARLY this guy has more work then they can handle and he decided that he didn't need our money. He was a complete waste of time!!!! If you are black...beware, he moves like a racist.

We called at 11 am with a carbon monoxide poisoning emergency. They scheduled our appointment between 1:30 and 4:30 today and then cancelled at 4:00. They would not even try to reschedule.. 4 agents gave 4 different excuses.. all ridiculous and conflicting. Nate put me on hold for 20 minutes, dropped the call. Nate and then Ryan SWORE at ME!. The company doesn't even have a web site. Ryan said ' good luck talking to management '..No BBB reviews, .. buyer beware!

I have used Lambert for many years. I had them come for a clogged kitchen sink. I was told the problem was in the line and it had to be snaked. Had to do it twice since one time wasn't enough. When I got the bill he had charged $55 extra (plus tax on that) for him to use the snake. I said I didn't understand that since this is what was required to fix the problem ( and I am still paying for his time . Will not be using him again !All in all , bill was close to $400 for a clogged kitchen drain- a little ridiculous for a clogged sink that had to be snaked 2x!!!
Btw, it's Poughkeepsie, not Manhattan.

Lambert plumbing is THE worst plumbing company I have ever come across. Having been in the construction industry for over 35 years, I know an honest contractor when dealing with one. After diagnosing the problem, getting the part numbers needed myself, I scheduled an install. The technician was absolutely clueless about the boiler! I did most of it myself and the parts were marked up over 300%! When I left several messages for Steve, the owner, He never returned my calls. I have never left a negative review for anyone, but I am going 'to town on this clown'. A big fat zero for this company.

Since they charged us 400 dollars to not do anything because they didn't have a long enough drill we have always referred to then as Lambert Plumbing and Cheating. Can not believe they are still in business.

If I could give Lambert plumbing no stars I would. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with. I am a single woman who knows nothing about hot water tanks. I lost hot water June 1, 2016, I was recommended to them and they came to my condo and replaced the thermocoupler. Two months later I lost hot water again, called them again, they replaced the thermocoupler again. I came home on Tuesday, no hot water, called the emergency line, a person came out, started the pilot for me and said to me ""I don't know why the pilot keeps going out, maybe there's a draft in here"" now mind you, my hot water heater is in a utility closet with no outside ventilation. He charged me $160 and the next day when I came home the pilot was out again. I called service again, he said to me ""I could come out and light it again for you, but it would be another $160"" I said no thanks for what to come home again and have it off again because you don't know why it goes out. The owner calls me the next morning, said he would come out and take a look at it, told him I left the door open, he said he would call me and let me know, never heard from him that day. DO NOT USE LAMBERT PLUMBING, THEY CHARGE YOU A FORTUNE, DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I am going to go on Facebook and make sure everybody knows about it.
