Installed a new Home Depot water heater myself. Thought I did pretty good. No leaks, everything looked good, but couldn't get the pilot light to light. Had trouble with the piezo ignition. Called Lalo, he tried to give me free advice over the phone, but I still couldn't get it working, so he came over within an hour, using his special advice and tips, he got it lit in one try. Awesome. Honest, fair (very fair), and nice guy too.

We had an issue with the water pressure in our guest bathroom tub. It was working fine one minute and then the hot water pressure just dropped. Since it was only the hot water that was having a problem, I figured it had to due with the shower valve, but that is as far as my plumbing knowledge goes.

Search Yelp for a good plumber and Lalo's had great ratings and a high number of reviewers. Called them up and they were here in less than two hours (pretty good for a non-emergency issue). They took a look, found that there was a gasket partially blocking the hot water portion of the shower valve. They removed the obstruction and things were back to normal. Put everything back together, checked for leaks and we were good to go.

Wish we could have figured out where that gasket had come from (the shower valve o-rings were intact) but no way we could figure that out without tearing things apart. I'll just be sure to keep an eye out for any leaks in other places.

Quick, friendly service and reasonable prices. I will call them for my future plumbing needs.

what can I say, it is perfect. Their job is perfect.

Monday night, sewer line was logged, it is the second time within the last 2 months.

I called Lalos Tuesday morning at 9am, I stated my emergency. Lalo said why didn't you call us last night. and he sent Luis to our home at 9:30am sharp to fix the problem so that at least we can use the toilet. Luis is a very nice, humble and friendly guy. he fixed the sewer clogging problem like in 5 min. and told me that he would be back later today and inspect the sewer line using the camera. He did not even ask him to pay him.

and later on the day, Luis came back with the camera and found the house main sewer line was badly damaged by the trees in our front yard. the sewer unclogging and camera inspection cost me reasonable but still competitive price.

I spoke to Lalo over the phone at night and Lalo offered me the less invasive trenchless sewer repair solution because he thought my front yard and the trees were beautiful.

The project was done on Sat morning, 8:30am. The team was so diligent and hardwork. they even skipped lunch. they fixed the main sewer line by installing a new pipe, added a easy access point in our front yard for future use, restore everything they touched in my front yard and clean up everything by 3pm same day. they asked me to check their work every time they finished one step, they explained why they did that.

A+ job. even better the cost is uncomparably competitive.

My husband and I just moved into a new house, and after the first night, realized a drain in the finished basement was backing up all kinds of gross stuff whenever we used the water upstairs. In the morning I called the first place I found on google, and despite being promised they'd be out before 3pm, I kept getting called each hour moving the appointment time back. At 6pm I was desperate for help, and found Lalo's business on yelp. I called and they said they'd be out within an hour. They arrived on-time, fixed our plumbing issue efficiently and thoroughly, and at a reasonable price to boot. They also offer a 30 day warranty, which made me feel confident in their work. Another 5 (well deserved) stars for Lalo. We had a problem with our washing machine not dispensing cold water. Lalo sent a team out and unfortunately, one washing load later, the machine was not working again. One call to Lalo and he promised to be at our home HIMSELF first thing SUNDAY morning. Lalo worked for more than an hour. He had to separate the plumbing from an old water softener. The old softener was hauled off, and the plumbing was neatly sealed. Our water shutdown valve was replaced, and the machine is back doing what we want it to do.

There was no additional charges for this extra work, and Mr. Lalo was most polite and pleasant. He really turned around a bad situation and left us most pleased. For all of his effort, he earns our appreciation. Please give him a call. I think you will also be delighted.

I called them Thursday to have a look at the leak that we've been having on our basement wall for the past few days. Two men from Lalo came Friday night at the appointed time (+1 for showing up and being on time). They looked at the leak and confirmed my initial assumption that the leak is coming from the water line that crosses our drive way to the faucet near the fence. Taking out the cemented driveway to replace the broken line is not a viable option for now, so we just decided to cut the line going out (sacrificing the faucet near the fence) and put an end plug on the nearest joint.

I asked them how much would it take to do the work. Since it is an easy fix, I'm expecting a fair price for the work. The first price they gave me is $285 or $265 (can't really remember the initial price). I told them that it seems like it's to much for such an easy fix. After thinking for a while, they offered $225. In the end, I didn't go with their service.

After they left, I drove to the nearest Lowes in my area, bought an end plug for $1.26 and a teflon tape for $1.02. Went back home and started the job. 1 hour later, the job is finished and no more leak on our basement. I did all the job manually by hand, it could have gone faster if I have some power tools with me. I know that the job could have been done faster if Lalo's men were to work on it. I think it would just take them 15-20mins (maybe 30mins max) to finish the job. So, in the end, the total cost of the work is $2.28 (against Lalo's $225).

I gave them 3 stars. -1 for the hefty price and another -1 for the attitude shown by one of the two men (the other guy is very polite, but the other one turned his back on me and walked away while I was still talking to him negotiating the price). I know that they could have done a good work on this one since it's just plain easy fix, but then, there you go.

Like a lot of other people, I found Lalo's on Yelp. I called him on Wednesday and we discussed various scenarios regarding the problem I had and what the pricing would be. I had to make a later-evening appointment, and since it wasn't critical we set it up for Thursday at 5:30 (when I would be available).

Jose showed up at 5:20, put on his boot covers and quickly went to work. He even showed me what I did wrong (I used a flimsy part to save 2 bucks when I installed the toilet a few months ago.) He also pointed out that the floor in the bathroom has water damage and I should have it replaced. The price was reasonable (per homewyse.com).

I would recommend Lalo's service and would use them again for any other plumbing needs.

Found Lalo on Yelp because of good reviews and now I know why. He stopped by within 30 minutes of my call to give me an estimate on running a gas line for our dryer. It was obvious pretty quickly that it wouldn't be possible (given layout and existing piping in the house), yet Lalo took the time to exhaust all options and give me some good advise on what to do. Nothing in it for him, but he still took the time and was never rude.
He was professional, clean (had covers for his shoes), friendly and very helpful. No negatives here. Will call again right away for future plumbing needs.

I chose these guys because they had such great Yelp reviews, and once again Yelp has come through!

I came home after work at almost 7pm to find out that we had no water to the house and a leak under the kitchen sink. I make a phone call and 45 minutes later these guys show up at the door! They gave me an estimate that seemed fair and actually was lower than I had feared - and they were completely finished with the repairs in 45 minutes. They even did a little extra, when they noticed another small problem, and gave me some friendly advice for the future.

Lalo's is my plumber of choice and I'll be calling them exclusively for plumbing issues from now on!
