ZERO STARS

Bunch of shady scum who break pipes, cabinets and leave an all around mess.


For what they scammed my elderly parents out of they should respond better than they have...Apparently money is more important than customer satisfaction!!!


Scammed my parents out of nearly $3,000 to replace their home plumbing...which they didn't replace all of it!!! Refused to replace the shower pipes.


They broke the vanity in the bathroom to replace the sink pipes and then told my father they would fix the drain for ANOTHER $450!!!


Damaged other drains and again $450 to replace those because ""we didn't agree to do that in the original estimate"". UM YEAH and we didn't agree you would damage our drains and cabinets due to utter incompetence either buddy!!!


Left gritty sediment all over our basement floor so it was like a sandbox with who knows what kind of bacteria.


Left remnants of their work all over the floor as well as old parts and other waste.


If these people are ""master plumbers"" then somebody needs to check their credentials and send them back to school to relearn the profession.


After repair customer service is all about blaming the customer and telling lies about how they do work.

I guess taking advantage of the elderly is their main motivation from other reviews and they need to be SHUT DOWN!!!

Last summer our AC went out and I called Lakeview Mechanical - mainly because Lakeview designed and installed the system about 12 years ago (we have an old house with a boiler so our air handler is located in the attic). Don Rappert came out and after more than an hour of dicking around with the compressor recommended we replace the air handler and compressor -- total $4,680. According to Don we had to act fast because running the AC as is would result in water damage and ... (gasp) ... BLACK MOLD!. The next day I climbed up in the attic and determined the pump was running but was not removing the condensation water because the check valve was clogged. Took all of 5 minutes to disassemble and clean out the check valve - problem solved. Within a day all the wood and insulation was bone dry. Lakeview Mechanical charged $245 for the service call, didn't correctly identify/fix the problem, and tried to sell me an un needed $4,680 system. Don Rappert kept telling me how he had over 20 years of experience. Yeah, 20 years of ripping people off!

I'm very happy with Lakeview's service and attention to detail. They had a great competitive price for my a/c install, and they came out quickly to do the work. Chris and George did an excellent job installing our new unit, and also did a great job cleaning up afterward. There was a small issue with the backlight on my thermostat not working, but when I pointed it out George did a quick research call, and corrected it before they left. Lakeview Mechanical was the only contractor that was willing to do my small thermostat install a couple years ago without charging an arm and a leg, so they were my first choice to use on this larger scale job.

Had this company out to snake backed up line to the sewer. They told me that my pipe was cracked and gave me a $4,000 estimate to dig up and replace the pipe. The guy didn't try very hard to snake it and admitted that he didn't have a good cutter. They came out again with a different machine and charged me again. I had another company come out and they were able to cut through the tree roots that caused the back up and fixed it for half of what they charged me. I called to complain and demanded a refund. I was told that if I brought in the receipt from the other company that said they fixed it they would give me a refund. I took the receipt and a letter to Lakeview's office but they never called back, gave a refund, or answered my calls after that. This company just wants your money. Go somewhere else!

At this point I cannot even leave this company 1 star. We live in a condo and about 2 weeks ago our sump pump died. We called Lakeview the told them we lived in a condo and the management company would pay the bill. The gentleman told us our management company was acceptable and they would send thenbill to them. We received a call from Lakeview today regarding the payment. Not only was thisnwoman rude to my husband but she hung up on him twice. I called the woman back to assure her the bill would be paid and not only did she hang up on me but threatened me too. We tried to call the owner and he was just as rude and also hung up. If this was my company I would never hang up on a customer once twice or three times.If they had just called the management company back they would of assured them that their $300 check was mailed on November 7th. Some people dont deserve to run a company. Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone

Don't even waste your time. Came to my home to snake our main sewer line, told us there was a break in the pipe, we needed to call the city, and he would too in the morning. We called the city first thing Monday morning..he never bothered. The city said we'd need video of the break, plumber came back out Monday and took video. He said he was going right back to the office to download on a scan disk to get right over to the city and he would call. He was absolutely sure there was a break in the line he said. No calls to the city were ever made, no video sent, and my husband tried numerous times to get ahold of the plumber to no avail. Called another company, they had there guys out in by the afternoon and within a couple hours my line was snaked clear. Over 7 ft of tree roots were cleared out. We saw a live feed of our drain, NO break. Don't waste your time or money with this company, so not worth the extra stress, time, or money.

The front desk needs help they make it harder than it needs to be. However the people that actually do the work really do a great job. I have met only one installer out of 5 that was less knowledgeable than expected. I would give them 5 stars if the front desk was out of the equation.

Call center dude needs some customer service training. These people have been fairly reliable but in the past few days I was getting horrible service so I'm a bit irritated. The call center guy tells me it's ""his' company and laughed at my words. I told him to blow me and hung up. I'll find someone who wants the work you ass-bag!

I recently purchased a fixer upper from the 1950's and needed to replace all utilities as well as some duct work moved. I received several estimates and Lakeview had the best overall cost considering the quality Rheem product included in the price. I was very pleased with my experience with Lakeview and would recommend them to others. They were able to orchestrate removing my old furnace, water heater and air conditioner, installing the new and moving a duct in an efficient amount of time. Throughout their work the,job site was always kept clean and the customer service was great; everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the finished product, overall great experience!
