I cannot recommend this company enough. I live in Chicago and having someone I can truly count on for emergencies at my Michigan property is great! You guys made me look so good with our tenant! Same day service for a tenant with only one toilet that had to be turned off because there was so much water leaking that it took down the ceiling tiles in the unit below. Called this company based on Yelp feedback. Quality of work seems fine, and they are fairly responsive. Prices are sky high though. $215 to replace a shower handle. Not the valve, just the handle!!
If you're in a jam and have to get the job done, call them. For routine maintenance, keep shopping, there are much better values out there.

Don't think I ever called a plumber before, or if I did, it has been so long ago. I had called a plumber before Lakeshore Plumbing and couldn't believe how bad the quality of service was and was overcharged on top of that. This plumbing company completely turned that bad perception around. The young man, Jeff, that came, did a thorough job, went out of his way to explain almost every detail to me, took pictures, very pleasant, even went outside in the rain to check the water meter! Their fee was very reasonable, diagnosis reasonable and price about right.

Jeff arrived promptly as stated. He was respectful of property asked where he should park. He removed his shoes She he came inside, each time. He replaced the outside faucet and pipe going through the house. He cleaned up after himself. I am very pleased with the work and professionism.

First off let me start with that I am an out of state owner so to find a company that responds and does the job is super important and a breath of fresh air!! I used Lakeshore for a clogged main line & toilet back up. They removed tree roots and cleared the line the same day I called. I used them again recently for a running tub that wouldnt shut off. I called last minute at 4pm in a panic. The owner told me that all of his guys were on jobs but he would fit me in somehow. Within an hour someone was at my house. They replaced the tub faucet and installed shut off's. Great company, great guys!!!! Pricing is reasonable and definitely worth the peace of mind knowing the job WILL GET DONE!

Don and all of his guys at Lakeshore plumbing are the absolute best. He has helped me several times this last time was an absolute emergency. He had a guy to my house within an hour. We had to use these folks because of our home warranty that came with our home purchase. If you don't need to use these folks, DON'T. Each time they were out they damaged our home, as in water flowing from the ceiling because they punched through a line, and the second time the drain not installed correctly. Problems not limited to one tech, we have had three different techs work at our home and just had them back again to fix a leak in work they did just a couple months ago.

Team VP did not start 2018 on a positive note. After spending two days of the holiday weekend dealing with water leaking into our bathroom and then having to shut our water off and not having water for a large portion of the weekend, we struggled finding a plumber who was available to come and help us fix our problem. We called six plumbers and left messages and Lakeshore was the only company who was kind enough to actually call us back.

Even though Lakeshore did not have emergency or holiday hours, they still called to let us know that they would put us on the schedule for first thing Tuesday morning, which was very kind of them because the uncertainty of not knowing was just as painful as the water that was flowing down our walls. They also told us that we should probably just turn our water back on when we needed it because our wall was going to need to be cut open anyhow.

Lakeshore, as promised appeared on Tuesday morning and diagnosed the problem (which was unfortunately not a plumbing issue). The young man was polite and professional and timely. He called before he arrived and explained exactly what the problem could be. He took photos of the damage and suggested if the leak starts again to call them back. Really there was nothing anyone could do, but he was very nice about the whole debacle.

We need to have three water shut off valves repaired because we discovered they no longer turn properly when we tried to turn the water off at the main and we will be calling Lakeshore back to fix them. Plumbers are expensive and fast polite service makes hiring one so much less stressful.

We recently had a new fridge installed but needed a water line installed for it. Lakeshore was very pleasant to deal with. They returned our call within 24 hours and were able to schedule us in less than a week which was really awesome! The guys who came our were very polite and helpful, so shout out to Steven and his crew. Price was very reasonable and actually less then I expected. After the job was done the owner called within an hour or so just to make sure everything was done to satisfaction. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the future! Thank You!
