I had a gallon-an-hour leak ending up on the basement floor for two days. Josh from Lakeshore Plumbing was dispatched and quickly ID'd the unseen source of the problem and had things back to normal in the first 30 minutes. He also took the time to answer a few questions about some minor plumbing issues that I'd tried to solve on my own. He probably saved me a couple unnecessary trips to the hardware store and unknown $ in the process. Highly recommend.

BEWARE!! I'm sorry to have to write this, but I need to warn people. This is a disorganized, fly-by-night operation. They rarely answer the phone, and don't call back if you leave a message. If you do get them on the phone, they make appointments they don't keep: I made five (FIVE!) over the course of a month to pump the septic and put in a riser, and waited all day. They don't show up and don't even call to say they're not coming. The reason I kept trying is they installed the septic originally. Looking back, there were warning signs then too: they had assured me they would install a riser with the septic. Not only didn't they, they buried the tank without marking it, so I had to find it myself. They tried to install a concrete dry well, but it was too heavy for their backhoe, so they scrambled to put in a plastic one, and asked me to pay more. Etc. There are much more reliable, professional companies nearby.

This company has the worst customer service!! I had this place come out on June 17th for our outdoor spigot from my home warranty and was told that I would be given a call with the final estimate. NOTHING!!!! I had to call the the home warranty company daily to see what was happening for about 3 weeks . The home warranty company was not able to get in touch with this plumber and emailed them MANY times and still no calls. FINALLY, here they are today on August 2nd after having to call repeatedly and they are not willing to do anything about their lack of timeliness and poor customer service. They tell me their phones were down the past two weeks but I have been calling for longer than that with no attempts to make things right. AND now, I have to pay the full amount for this fix because I need it done and they will not fix it unless I pay upfront!! I will never use this company again in the future!!

This company called to say they were on their way and never showed up or called to say they were not coming. 4 hours later they lied and said nobody was home and that we did not answer a call.

I called the following morning and was told a manager would call me back. Again, no call.

It was clear that they just didn't want to do the job at the end of the day and just blew it off. They are totally unreliable and untrustworthy.

I would never use this company except that they were sent by the home warranty company I used. Spare yourself some grief and just call someone else.

I cannot recommend this company enough. I live in Chicago and having someone I can truly count on for emergencies at my Michigan property is great! Very fast service, always reliable, very fair pricing, Don is great!! I highly recommend Lakeshore for my Chicago peeps and my Michigan friends and family!!

You guys made me look so good with our tenant! Same day service for a tenant with only one toilet that had to be turned off because there was so much water leaking that it took down the ceiling tiles in the unit below. I have no words to thank you for taking care of us so quickly. I know you were busy but you made it work. Much, much thanks!

Called this company based on Yelp feedback. Quality of work seems fine, and they are fairly responsive. Prices are sky high though. $215 to replace a shower handle. Not the valve, just the handle!!
If you're in a jam and have to get the job done, call them. For routine maintenance, keep shopping, there are much better values out there.

Don't think I ever called a plumber before, or if I did, it has been so long ago. I had called a plumber before Lakeshore Plumbing and couldn't believe how bad the quality of service was and was overcharged on top of that. This plumbing company completely turned that bad perception around. The young man, Jeff, that came, did a thorough job, went out of his way to explain almost every detail to me, took pictures, very pleasant, even went outside in the rain to check the water meter! Their fee was very reasonable, diagnosis reasonable and price about right.

Jeff arrived promptly as stated. He was respectful of property asked where he should park. He removed his shoes She he came inside, each time. He replaced the outside faucet and pipe going through the house. He cleaned up after himself. I am very pleased with the work and professionism.

First off let me start with that I am an out of state owner so to find a company that responds and does the job is super important and a breath of fresh air!! I used Lakeshore for a clogged main line & toilet back up. They removed tree roots and cleared the line the same day I called. I used them again recently for a running tub that wouldnt shut off. I called last minute at 4pm in a panic. The owner told me that all of his guys were on jobs but he would fit me in somehow. Within an hour someone was at my house. They replaced the tub faucet and installed shut off's. Great company, great guys!!!! Pricing is reasonable and definitely worth the peace of mind knowing the job WILL GET DONE!
