Update: After my last review , I'm still waiting from the owner, Steve to get back to me. I paid nearly $3,000 for whole brand new heating system that hasn't been working properly and no one is taking accountability for it. I have to use a portable heating system to keep my place warm. I'm hoping they'll get back to me soon.

Charged us before I even got to see an invoice. Asked for calls to ask what the deal was, no one ever called back. Won't use again.

I am surprised at the negative reviews. My experience was outstanding. Although more expensive than other local plumbers, they are available 24/7 and very responsive. My water heater died and I needed it fixed quickly. Three plumber I called never called back. Another plumber could stop by in a week. Steve and his crew (Corey was outstanding) arrived at my home within one hour of my call, determined it was the gas controller, and had it replaced within 2 1/4 hours!! Excellent communication, excellent service, and billed exactly as forecast.

I own Classic Cuts located in a commercial building. I called our property management company to inform them of out hot water problem. The property manager contacted Lake Tahoe Plumbing shortly I was contacted very quickly by I believe the owner of Lake Tahoe Plumbing, sorry I don't recall his name. During that phone call he informed me that Brian was the service representative that would be coming our place of business. Brian showed up very fast and accessed and diagnosed the problem through what I felt was a very educated process of elimination to get to the root of the problem. Brian left for a short time to retrieve the parts needed to correct out hot water problem. Within an hour and a half from the time of initial contact we were back up and going with hot water again. I would recommend this plumbing company to anyone of plumbing repairs.

We had a sewer leak, which made the house smell horrible. They came out immediately and fixed it. They are an honest, reliable and hard working company. They found out it was our neighbor's sewer discharge line damaged and leaking back to our unit. I highly recommend this business.

Bad experience, took 2 different workers 3 visits to fix a leak. Charged me separately for each visit plus labor when they finally did figure out how to fix it! 1300 to fix a leak!!! When I questioned why I was being charged for return visits for the same issue, I had to follow up with them 4 times to ask for an update. I finally sent a couple emails and only then did the owner Steve respond with a very curt ""invoice stands!"" This guy doesn't know how to run a business and certainly doesn't understand customer service...look for help elsewhere.

I needed help fast and these guys got to work! My drain was unclogged successfully and they helped stop a leak under the sink. Very pleased. Sean, the technician, was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick! I would recommend this business.

We needed a last minute sewer inspection. Lake Tahoe plumbing and heating were great squeezing us into their already packed schedule. Erica in the office was very friendly, professional and communicative. Their tech Aaron was knowledgeable and eager to provide valuable information to us. I feel they both went above and beyond to provide great service and very much appreciate that!

My shower had a slow drip on the cold water, which to me was not a real big deal, I just caught the water in a bucket and used it to flush the toilet so at least it was not going to waste. But then after I took a shower the hot water had a steady run. NOT good. So I called Lake Tahoe Plumbing & Heating because I lived in Tahoe Verde and they knew the mobile homes in here. They came right away and fixed it in no time. The young man was very nice and honest, I really appreciated that! Also I have to mention the lady that answered the phone, she was very kind patient, I will Definitely do business with them again in the future if I am in need. I will admit though $180 an hour is a little steep especially when you are on a fixed income. But what are you going to do. Wish they would consider a senior discount.

booked an early appointment. was told id be first served. no call no show..called back to be told gee we are sorry..after the service person eats lunch 12-1 he will be out to you. I said please call if going to be late. once again no call no show. I now have been waiting since 8 am...3pm no call no show called then back and said cancel service call due to no call no show. they said don't you want to reschedule... I said I've been waiting all-day forget it...430pm DF serviceman shows up. told him ... I had canceled. he said ""NO ONE TOLD ME""... he left no appolgy..no discount offered. if this is the kind of a.ho service you want... hire these ah's..the absolute worst service in south lake Tahoe..minus 10 stars
