HORRIBLE Horrible!! The owner doesn't return phone calls or emails after leaving 5 messages with the ladies that answer the phone and after speaking to him several times. The owner was supposed to check out an issue but never arrived at my residence.

Our hot water heater started leaking the day after Thanksgiving. I called several places. Most did not even call back, one said the Tech would call me right back and never did. Flash forward to Monday. I called and spoke with Rosie who was wonderful. She took all the info and said she would get us on the schedule right away. She called a couple hours later and asked if the Tech could come by and look to see what needed to be done. Steve came out and let us know what needed to be done. I received an estimate within an hour and we booked to have the work done today the 28th. The guys showed up on time and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Lake Tahoe Plumbing and Heating. We are very happy with how fast they responded and got the job done, which is hard in Tahoe.

Amazing service! Todd went above and beyond what was expected of him. Our main line apparently has roots in it and the toilet and shower backed up; flooding the floor of our bathroom and hall. This plumber was polite, efficient, and got down on his hands and knees and mopped up the mess after he snaked the main line. We'll be calling them again to schedule a time to snake a camera down the line to assess a long term fix, but Todd saved the day and bought us a little more time.

Needed to find a plumber the same day. After calling several other businesses and not having any luck, I called Lake Tahoe plumbing! Rosie was amazing. She was so helpful and was able to fit me in the schedule that day! Even moving up our appointment to accommodate us earlier. Pete arrived and was able to resolve the problem within an hour! Will definitely call Lake Tahoe Plumbing for any future needs!

Another company came and installed our Nest thermostats and after they left our temperature hit 85 degrees. We couldn't turn off the heater. We had to use the breaker to turn the heater off completely. I called lots of heating companies, but Lake Tahoe Plumbing and Heating sent someone right away. I wish we had called them first! Abraham was friendly and professional.

I had to schedule backflow device test ASAP and called Lake Tahoe Plumbing. Lady on the phone took all my information even though I had a few questions about scheduling but she insisted that first she needs my address, name and phone number. When I asked her about the scheduling dates the answer was unclear and I advised her that she should tell me this before taking all the info, instead she refused to listen and was extremely RUDE!

We returned from a 7 weeks trip and the heat was not working. I began calling plumbing and heating contractors. Most were booked up for 2-3 weeks. One told me to just get out the phone book and start calling. So I did. When I got Lake Tahoe Heating and Plumbing, I was professionally and courteously treated by a woman who said she would send the next available tech. Apparently they take the next in line. With in two hours she called back and said the tech was on the way and would arrive in a few 10 minutes. Gabriel arrived promptly and went right to work diagnosing the problem. He called the owner and got an immediate estimate for the parts, completed the work and tested the systems 3 zones. Pricing was reasonable. Service was great and will use them again.

I have used Lake Tahoe Plumbing and Heating twice and unfortunately both times the tech came out and was not able to fix the problem.. although they have no problem at $120.00 an hour to keep at it for a few hours then leave with no resolution.. while handing off a big bill for wasted time. I think a lot of the guys they send out are just sub contractors and except for 1 or 2 techs - really do not have the experience to handle something other than the obvious. If its something that's not an obvious fix... I would recommend calling in an owner contractor who usually knows what they are doing and will be more experienced.

I had Lake Tahoe Plumbing and Heating Inc. out to a rental property in South Lake Tahoe in October 2015 to clear a clogged bathroom sink drain. This would normally be a 30 minute job and would cost about $99 at the most. The drain was cleared and, according to my tenant, the tech stayed and chatted with my tenant for quite a while, perhaps 45 minutes. Yes she is a talker and I guess he was too. I get billed for 1.75 hours and a $25 machine charge for a total of $235. I called the tenant and she told me about the long conversation but said that he only worked on the drain for about 20 minutes. He ran the snake 30 feet down the drain according to the invoice, and I was billed for 1.75 hours? I called the company to discuss the charge and they said that it was reasonable. I let the charge go through on my credit card and did not file a dispute even though this is a blatant over-charge. Needless to say, they lost a good customer who has several rentals and a second home in the area.
