Tamara A's complaint is right-on! Tech arrived at my vacation home on 3/9/23 at 3:50 pm. Although I was informed that the fee just for coming out was $240, the ""free"" quotes they advertise was not forthcoming for the actual work to be done.

After five (5) frustrating phone calls speaking to two different women, I was informed they would need to seek approval from the owner to have an Invoice sent to me! Really? It's now 3/25, & I still have no Invoice or breakdown for the $608.00 I was billed on 3/21. Yes, that's right, they choose to hide exactly what I was billed for; unprofessional to say the least.

Consumers, I recommend you stay very clear of these folks!!

Just reviewed the other (1) one stars. Looks like there's a pattern here of very poor customer service!!

If you want someone to come out and tell you that your heater is broken and then not fix it or call you back - but has no problem charging you $240/hr - then these are your guys!

Will never use them again. They got u by the balls the minute u give them ur credit card. Came out first time to find a leak but said water company needs to turn of water before they could fix leak (toilet valve) and since it was veterans day would cost $200 for water company to shut off. Said they would come out the following week to fix. First told me $1K to fix to valve and replace water lines. I said what? I don't think so. I said just replace the valves on both toilets. Shouldn't take more than an hour if that plus a few bucks for the parts. Checked my cameras the day they came (had a hide a key for them) and the water company never shut the water off either so they could replace the valves. Then we came before Thanksgiving, and bottom toilet valve still dripping. Told them still leaking sent picture. Steve never called me back. I emailed them said my husband would fix it himself since they didn't respond. Never called me, never got an invoice. Just charged my card $569 3 weeks later. I disputed with my credit card company. Steve finally responded and said an hour on 11/11 and an hour 11/14 and the water company shut it off. Not true. I have everything on my cameras. $249 an hour. $569 for two toilet valves. Bullshit! Very dishonest company. I should have known we he tried to charge me $1K to two valves and two lines when I didn't even need two lines. What he think I am stupid. I could have bought four toilets for that price.

LT Plumbing charged us $250 just for to tell us we needed to buy a brand new $3000 heater from them. We bought a $40 part and fixed it ourselves. Nice folks but their $250 minimum service call, when they did absolutely nothing, is ridiculous!

A very good experience with this company. They did a great job of sourcing the issue and fixing the pipes. I had tried other companies but not one even responded. A very professional and quality service. I would absolutely recommend.

Over priced and under delivered. Called Lake Tahoe plumbing after another company didn't have the right equipment. Requested the sewer scope and line tracing to be done with the 1st visit. 1st guy shows up not the correct equipment, instead breaks my front step with a heavy malfunctioning piece of equipment and then proceeds in cutting up the snake part in my garage leaving a mess! Then I wait another 2 hours for 2nd guy to show, this time with correct equipment but doesn't use it because sewer line is filled with water????? and he has no pump. The line tracer only went out 35 feet with very mixed results, so I still don't know where the line is????? $665.00 later still no solution to my clogged drain. Don't use this company and don't give them a Credit Card!

Lake Tahoe plumbing does my backflow testing every year. They are very responsive, reliable, and friendly. I just call them up, schedule and pay for the testing and they take care of the rest, the way I like it.

I made the appointment for today with a nice lady a week ago, yesterday I called her to confirm if plumber would come, she said Yes. Today morning she called me and said that they don't have anybody available, but gave me the phone number of another company assuring that they should have a plumber for today??!!! I am in shock..
So, I called the number she gave me and all their plumbers are busy.
Waited a week for the appointment and nothing!!!
Dont do any business with them, horrible company!!!

Not sure why Lake Tahoe Plumbing only has 3 stars, because they had excellent service, fast, and actually solved my plumbing problem when Roto-Rooter couldn't after 4 times!! I believe it was Eric who came when I called the day of. Most places were booked, as this was right before Christmas holiday. He was patient, thorough, and explained everything. If I have a plumbing problem again, I'll be calling Lake Tahoe and NOT roto-rooter. Thanks Lake Tahoe Plumbing!
