AHS recommended this plumbing service for our water heater (Best Company AHS has ever recommended), but after Bob (nice guy) came out and told me we needed to pull a permit from the city in order for him to put a new water heater in at an EXTRA cost and also he needed to hook up a drain line to the upper pressure relief valve at an EXTRA cost. I forgot to mention the water heater was 7-years old on a 9-year warranty. So, Lake Plumbing would have to do an exchange at Lowes, that I did with the help of my plumber that made the new water heater free. BTW I wasn't told by anyone at AHS or Lake Plumbing that Lowes needed a return authorization, which I had to do at Lowes (took an hour). So exchange done. AHS gives you the option to cash-out, which I did. The reason I did this is because with all Lake Plumbing's additional costs plus my deductible, which is what I expected to owe would have been 3-times more. My plumber a 5-star Yelp Company did the job for $50 less, plus my cash-out we saved a pretty penney. Also, I DID NOT have to pull a permit from the city and was told 90% of people don't do this or need to do this??????so, just a FYI. This permit stuff raised a Red Flag on my trust issue of Lake Plumbing padding their bill.

Have American Home Shield as my warranty company. Garbage disposal started leaking, called them and Laurie from Lake Plumbing called me back within ten minutes. Was able to get an appointment for the next day with an 8 AM to 12 Noon window -- a miracle as far as I was concerned, with the holiday coming up. Next morning, Laurie called me and said Bob was actually running early, and if I wanted, he could be there a little earlier than 8 AM. Boy, did I ever want that! He showed up within minutes. Took one look at the disposal, said ""yep, it's leaking,"" went out to his van, brought a new one in (same exact model as the one it was replacing), and replaced it within 20 minutes. Runs great, and no more leaks.

Couldn't ask for better response or better service. Yes, maybe this wasn't the most complicated repair, but it was done professionally and in a very short amount of time, and when you're waiting for the plumber to get there so you can get to work afterwards, that was a big help to me. I definitely recommend Lake Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

Lake Plumbing was professional and so pleasant to deal with! They were prompt, helpful, and did an outstanding job of fixing our water heater. They were assigned to us through our home warranty company, and the experience was outstanding! Lori-who works in the office-was very kind and knowledgeable, and did a top notch job of keeping us updated and getting a technician out as soon as possible. Great company!!!!

Bob at Lake Plumbing came to my house to fix a toilet and a couple slow draining sinks. He was right on time, professional and explained things in terms a non-plumber can understand. The office was also very nice and accommodating to my schedule!

LOVE these guys!! I have used them *numerous* times over the years and they are QUICK. Lori the receptionist is so sweet and attentive, always accommodates my schedule. Bob the plumber is wonderful, very honest, friendly, efficient. Referred to this company through our home warranty service. Our disposal was fried, and these guys made the replacement a breeze. Professional, on time, quick and efficient. Months later, new garbage disposal still works great. Would definitely use Lake Plumbing again in the future.

This company is by far the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. I would recommend anyone needing plumbing help to seek service anywhere else but here. First of all, the specialist confirmed arrival time between 9am-11am and proceeded to show up at 7am unexpectedly, two hours before the confirmed time slot. My mom was getting by disabled brother ready for school and had to drop everything and attend to this man. She pointed out that we needed our water pressure fixed in our front yard and in our backyard and that was all. The man started to work and my mom returned to the bedroom to get my brother ready and she heard someone walking around the house and its the specialist lingering around in our kitchen without permission! The man was outside in the front yard and came inside our house without anyone's knowledge to do god knows what! He could've rang the door bell or something if he needed to be inside for whatever reason but neglected to do so.

The specialist then went on to say that he did not remember what kind of parts were needed for the front and backyard water regulator and that he would need to get back to us. So he left, without fixing the issue we paid him for or without giving us any type of insight as to how they would come back to fix the problem.

So of course, my mom calls the company's phone number and Laurie answers and is not understanding or empathetic to this situation at all! By the way, my mom speaks with a slight accent so Laurie decided to insult her for it and tell her that ""This is America."" Really? Are you kidding me? You're going to tell a customer that this is america, a customer who paid for a service to be completed professionally by your company. Instead of acknowledging the problem you're going to be even more rude and unprofessional than the service man who came to our house. Laurie decided to end the conversation by hanging up the phone on my mom while she was still voicing her concerns.

I really hope from the bottom of my heart that no one's family has to go through the disrespect that mine went through from this company. And I can only wish that anyone reading this review will pass on sending their business to this terrible company. Lake Plumbing your awful please get back to the basics of being a business owner.

They just left my house and they were quick and honest. I would recommend them to anybody. It was obvious I know nothing about water heaters when it was a simple reset button needed pushed. They did an honest diagnostic and charged a minimal service fee.
