In 1969, Donald Edward Lachance established a plumbing and heating firm called D.E. Lachance Plumbing & Heating. His son spent 25 years contributing at the company.
In the year 2001, the son took the reins of the firm, which is now known as Lachance Plumbing & Heating, Inc. Our team functions with around 12 dedicated men in the field, concentrating on plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services for domestic and small business clients, offering 24-hour service to valued customers.
We provide repairs for kitchen sinks and bathroom faucets, tub and shower valves, toilet repairs and replacements, as well as bathroom remodels and main sewer drain cleanings. We repair heating and air conditioning units, including gas and oil cleanings, install heating boilers and furnaces, as well as AC air handlers and condensers. We focus on oil-to-gas heating conversions using Weil-McLain boilers; Rheem and ThermoPride furnaces.

Had my furnace maintained for several years by Dan at Lachance plumbing. He was OUTSTANDING. Called in August for Dan and several excuses later booked an appointment, taking a chance on another technician. I was given an appointment two months later, November 13 at 8:30 am. When I CALLED on November 12, the agent said that they could only arrive at lunch time. When I CALLED at 2 pm on the 13 th , she said that they were not coming and that she would TRY to schedule me. I know that emergencies do come up, but to be treated like I was a bother was irritating to say the least. The company's rating of 2.4 stars should have a negative sign in front. This company DOES NOT want your business.
I just had an oil tank installed in my cellar. When I called Lachance plg htg. My oil tank was leaking he said we have no problem doing this. I asked him when he could do the job he said Monday.The workers that came were very professional and friendly.I had a good time talking with them. I would highly recommend them and I'm going to use them for plumbing heating from now on.
If there were a negative 5 stars they have earned it 100%. They fix what's not broken to rip you off and to frost the cake, Theresa is the nastiest receptionist on the planet! No Joke!!

I refuse to use this business going forward because every time I call, the woman who answers is unnecessary rude. I don't understand why this business continues to allow it, and it overall makes me question the judgment of the business owners.
I am very grateful for the promptness in this company for our need for a new water heater unexpectedly. However, as a first time home owner, there is no manual on questions to ask at what time when it comes to these kinds of expenses. I had questions, yes after the fact, BUT it did NOT excuse the arguing, the talking over, and threatening to call the cops of the lady I spoke with about finances. I was appalled by the customer service that was given. There is NO excuse for a company to talk like this to a customer. I would NEVER not pay for a service, I was just asking questions and figuring out how to make it work. Thank you to the guys who installed our water heater! I do appreciate it!
TyLyn A.RUN!! the receptionist is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional for absolutely no reason!! she should not work in any sort of customer relations or customer care position! I had work done and only lasted a few months over a year. She made highly inappropriate comments about my income! like WHATTT!! All I was looking for what a list of what work was done so I knew if the part that went was original or not...I didnt even insinuate it was their work that caused this problem... she was rude and disrespectful during the whole conversation! if this is their version of customer care, they need to take business 101... DON'T USE THEM!! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!
j j.Lachance plumbing is the best plumbing company out there. They do the best job with the best people. The company is family owned and operated. I have been with them for over thirty years for my business, rental properties and my home, and they have always been there when we need them. Responsible, efficient and great at what they do. Highly recommend.
Want to express my total dissatisfaction with this company: Lachance Plumbing and Heating of Manchester...Unfortunately for myself I was dealing with A Rude and Unprofessional woman who calls herself the office manager.... On three (3) different occasions I was given three appointments... All three were cancelled.... The first: Feb.8th between 11AM to 1 PM cancelled at the last moment... Second Appointment Feb. 8th 1 PM to 3 PM Cancelled last moment... Third appointment Feb.9th between 1PM and 3PM again cancelled... A new appointment was never given... Complained to the Woman Office Manager and she stated heat calls would precede other service calls... Also a dispute erupted over if there were two or three appointments.... I listed on my calendar the three appointments... Asked to speak to Bill Lachance and the office manager wanted to know why, saying she screens all his calls.... The owner called later and and I informed him of the situation... That his office manager was not helping matters... with some attitude and deciding not to give me a fourth appointment.... I got no where with the owner, he was to call back and never did... Finally had more than enough of this attitude... After checking the reviews from former customers saw what I should have looked at before.... Others were complaining about the same situations.... The work order was cancelled and another company was contacted.... FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE LASTING IMPRESSIONS... IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR DEPENDABILITY THIS COMPANY IS NOT FOR YOU.... D. CJ G.This place is ridiculous. Told us they would be here at 8am, at 10am we called and was told they were on their way, called back at 10 mins to noon and the rude woman who answered the phone cut me off while I was speaking and barked at me that she told me earlier between 10 and 12 and they are on their way and that is not what was told to us. She was verbally abusive and cannot see how anyone would employ a person like that especially with the magnitude of customer complaints on the various review sites for this company. What ever happened to customer service? I can clearly see why their rating is beyond poor and many many people say the same thing that this woman is a rude vial person. Very sad when you have to plan your day around people like this and they come and go as they please with no regard to the customer what so ever. Also worth mentioning that when the tech first came here to try and fix the furnace in the living room he got pink sealer all over our brand new carpet and this is not coming out. By the way it is 20 passed 12 and their still not here. Beware, stay clear of this place, it's not like you save money with them as they are more expensive then all the rest of the local competition. More money doesn't equal better service in this case at all.
Very pleased with the service. Al was knowledgeable, thorough, and didn't waste any time. I now have have my hot water back in the shower, my system has never been better, and the price was very fair .
All in all, it was a good experience , and I will call them back .
