During 1969, Donald Edward Lachance launched a plumbing and heating business called D.E. Lachance Plumbing & Heating. William Lachance, his son dedicated 25 years serving at D E Lachance.
In the year 2001, William became the owner of the firm, which has been renamed Lachance Plumbing & Heating, Inc. We works with about 12 skilled men in the field, focusing on plumbing, heating, and air conditioning solutions for residential and small business clients, providing 24-hour service to valued customers.
We handle repairs for kitchen sinks and bathroom faucets, valves for tubs and showers, toilet replacements and replacements, as well as remodeling bathrooms and main sewer drain cleanings. We repair heating and air conditioning units, covering gas and oil cleanings, replace heating boilers and furnaces, as well as AC air handlers and condensers. We focus on oil-to-gas heating conversions using Weil McLain and Burnham boilers; Goodman, Rheem furnaces.

Daniel M.The receptionist/dispatcher is an extremely rude and unprofessional woman. The technicians are hard working and pleasant but this woman has the worst attitude and really sucks at her job. I have been a very loyal customer for many years and the one time I have a billing issue she speaks to me like I'm a child and then hangs up on me. I was very polite when I called and my issues were genuine and to be spoken to like that is unacceptable. I will never recommend or do business with this company again.
WOW the most unprofessional ""lack"" of customer service i have ever experienced with a company. The woman that answered the phone was beyond rude. When I tried to confirm my appointment for today she told me it wasn't until next week. I knew I booked it for today as I closed my business to be home. She then proceeded to tell me how wrong I was and it was for next week take it or leave it. She then complained that she had 4 other calls on hold and it wasn't her problem. it's really too bad the face of the company is so disrespectful as the guys that come out and do the job are amazing.
I am waiting for the owner of LaChance to get back to me,I had a split ductless air conditioner installed about 2 some odd years ago. I have been having problems right from the start and still having problems. They came and found the compressor was no good, and charged me nearly three thousand dollars for labor. I paid it right away.
Winter came and I had issues when it was very cold. I called they came and the service guys were very pleasant. Unfortunately the issue was not fixed.
Now it is summer and the air is not working. I called AGAIN and spoke to the owner.
I own a small business and I had to replace a ductless air-heater in my larger dining room. This was installed and is working remarkably. This was done by another company. The new company was very reasonable and professional. I will highly recommend them to everyone.
I am going to leave this review until I get a response. I will let you know what the outcome is. I hope they are honest enough to replace the unit WITH OUT CHARGE.
My customers' comfort is important.
I'm leaving this review for now but I will certainly get back to all of you with the results.

Never called me back with a quote after visiting my home. When I called them, they had no record of my needing a quote and seemed disinterested in providing me any service. Plumber seemed kind but that doesn't offset have no hot water
They robbed me blind lying about my home buyers policy. They never submitted what they were supposed to to have my repairs reimbursed. I won't use them again and I suggest that if you are using your home owners or home buyers insurance that you don't either.
I'd been a loyal customer for 18+ years the the last few have been challenging. They did not test my system after installing a new kick heater this summer which I understand. It was hot! Now it's September and my heat won't start. They can't come out for four days. Prioritize your customers and triage. This is probably minor. Last straw.
Jennifer O.Please don't use this company. They have very poor customer service and low quality plumbing work. The receptionist called me, after sending the plumber on to the next client, to tell me I didn't answer the door. I was home the whole time but she argued I wasn't. I expressed concern of not being able to make my 3:00 appointment, she guaranteed twice the other client wouldn't take long and he would be done at our house by then. He didn't show up until 2:30, at the wrong house, and quickly took off. I saw this and called the receptionist before she sent him on to another client again. My sink no longer leaks but now sounds like a helicopter taking off when draining and the pipe is screwed on crooked. After calling and asking them to correct this they keep making up off the wall reasons these errors were because of an existing problem. The pipe wasn't screwed on crooked and it didn't drain loud before they came but somehow these new features are not their fault. They do not value customers, are rude, have poor quality work and are not a company I would ever do business again with.
Charlie T.My water heater was leaking, I was mopping the floor five times a day. I requested a quote from lachance and they provided me a quote with no information regarding the water heater. No make, model, or any information besides ""indirect water heater"". I followed up because I wanted to know what they were proposing to install and I was told they didn't have time to address such specific questions because they were dealing with real emergencies, and I should seek help from other contractors.
This seems extremely shady to me and I wanted to let people know.
FYI- they quoted changing my electric tank to a gas tank with the vent without coming out and when I got three quotes from licensed contractors, Lachances price was the highest by far.
