I had been doing business with this company for almost 10 years. They installed a new furnace and AC. They have serviced it regularly. I was usually satisfied until the last couple of years when they started overcharging. My furnace (still until warranty) stopped blowing hot air during the coldest week of the decade! I called and made an appointment and waited ... and waited. After 30 minutes past the time they were to arrive I called. The lady said she didn't have anything on the books. She insisted that they didn't work in Sherman Oaks and I must have called someone else. When I told her that they in fact did work in Sherman Oaks she said that Crystal made the appointment but only wrote it on her notepad and forgot to enter it in the books!? She then said the first available appointment wasn't for another 5 days!!! I asked for a manager to call me back. Dominges called and was rude and not helpful. I said go ahead and book Tuesday and I'll try and find someone sooner because my house was at 55 degrees!!! He then told me he no longer wanted to service our system. He ""didn't like my attitude"". I am at a loss for this lousy customer service all around. STAY AWAY!!!!

I called on Wednesday to make an appointment. She told the soonest someone could come out was Friday, December 7th, because they were booked. She took my information and number and told me should would contact the plumber and book my appointment. She never called me back. I called today and I was told they couldn't cone out til December 14th!!!!! WHAT???? HORRIBLE service. I actually was going to use them for both plumbing and heating, but now NO WAY!!!!! My suggestion is don't do business with them, since they can't stand by a simple phone call.

I would be cautious of anything this company does! I'm researching how to report them as scamming the elderly. My 80-year old mother who lives alone asked for a quote to fix the air conditioning unit they installed 10-11 years ago. She uses it very rarely, but it stopped working this summer. They quoted her $10,000 to fix or $18,500 to replace. She opted for the replacement, gave them $1,000 deposit, and they immediately started demolishing it. They took out the blower motor assembly and left with it, stating they would be back the next day. Once we found out, my brother was waiting for them the next day. He was able to get the check back, cancel the job and get them to give back all the parts they had taken. Within a week, he got a reputable company to hook it all back, repairing what they had done. He also fixed the unit for good for the price of $450! He said that the practice of this company was criminal, but happens quite often to the elderly. The review wouldn't accept zero stars, but that's what I would have chosen!

Half baked work on a water heater w/ obvious code violation. I had to call multiple times & put up w/ reluctant or rude service. I wish I could give them a zero star.

Don't do it. Their work was substandard and they left all the tubing on floor instead of fastening to beams.

This company has not earned any stars! However, Yelp, will not allow me to not select a star.
The tech came out to my parents home, and they proceeded to 'look' at the unit to see where the problem was and then, after a while, the tech said they should replace the unit since it was so old and the heating unit to as well! We did not call about the heating unit, just the A/C.
The tech then proceeded to take apart the unit, taking all the unit 'gas' (that they can turn around and sell for a nice profit) and pulled many other things apart. After the tech removed the gas and taken apart the unit, the tech quoted my parents $15,000+ for their A/C issues and to put in a new heating unit that they did not need!
Long story short, we called for a second opinion. The wonderful A/C tech who came out, not only said that my parent's unit looked BRAND NEW, and the filter looked as clean as a new one, but that the problem was just a small part and nothing else was needed. Also, NOTHING was wrong with the heating unit, nothing!
We were shocked to hear this news! Sadly, the new tech who came out said that the cost for the part was minimal, but that because the unit was so poorly taken apart, and that the 'gas' was removed (it costs approximately $75-125 per pound), that the cost would be higher than expected. Even then, the final cost of repair was less than a $2k of the $15,000 quoted by La Salle!
Folks, always get a second or even third opinion! I hope no other person will have such a terrible experience!

Next stop, after this Yelp review, the Better Business Bureau.

We had La Salle install a new rooftop heater/air conditioner unit. We also had all the duct
work replaced. The new 2 zone system has a thermostat upstairs and another downstairs.
This was a big multi day job. They always arrived on time and never left a mess. When the
job was complete you would never know they were here. Very respectful of the property and
house. In to 40+ years in this house they are the best contractors we've had.

One of the owners came out on a service call. It was an easy fix. The service was fast, honest and friendly. I would recommend this business highly!

In 2006 my husband and I had La Salle give us a quote for a new central airconditioning and heating system.
I walked Alex the service rep around my home and showed him the current system and how it was not cooling our ranch home.
I was very clear about our needs. I NEEDED our new unit to cool down our home appreciatevely.
He gave us our estimate and assurance that this new unit would do the job GUARANTEED!
Since our installation, we have had multiple failures with the air conditioner. Living in the south bay, we do not run it all summer, but when we do, we have ALWAYS had FAILURE.
I called yesterday because my unit was once again down, and they said the soonest they can get to me is in 8 days!!!!!
I asked why they advertise 24 hour service and she said it was for emergencies.
I informed her that I have heat issues and to me this is an emergency.
No luck, no call back from the manager, and still a broken unit with the various band aids applied each year to a lemon of a system.
We have come to the conclusion that we were sold a lemon. It appears that a few others have also had this experience.
Very dissatisfied customer!!!

I will never use this company again. They installed my central air and heating system in Jan 2006 for approximately $10k. We initially had a problem with the install where a drainage pipe was put in upside down, and it leaked freon or whatever comes out of the unit and which damaged our paint job. Finally someone came out and fixed the issue and promised to have the area repainted that was damaged. That never happened! Even with this experience we continued to use them every year for our annual maintenance.
Fast forward to August 2015, our air conditioner stopped working on a Sunday. I called to schedule service, and was told that someone would get back to me within the hour to schedule a service appointment. Of course no one called back on Sunday, (even though they claim to be 24hrs, I never got a call back). I waited until 11am on Monday, no one called. I called them back and was told they could get someone out in a couple of days, there were a lot of service request that came in earlier in the day and they were booked until Wednesday. I was very upset and stated that I felt I should have priority since I called the day before and was waiting for them to call me to schedule my service appointment as promised. Of course that did nothing, and even though I was a repeat /long time customer, I would have to wait. Keep in mind that I have had them servicing my system every year at $180 each, which includes changing the filter, and that they had serviced my system November 2014.
They come out on Wednesday and tell me the problem is my capacitor. I could replace the capacitor for approximately $400 but since our dogs urinated over the bottom of the condenser outside, they suggest we replace the condensor for approximately $4100 to $4400 since they could not guarantee how much longer my condensor would last considering the damage that has been done by my dogs. I wanted to get other quotes, so I decided to wait on having them replace my unit and was told I owed a service call fee of $98.50 which I paid. Now the main issue is that while getting other quotes, I was told that my unit had R-22 Freon, and that was banned mid 2006. Now with this information, I felt taken advantage of because there was no way this company was not aware of this upcoming law and yet they sold us a unit that would no longer be legal! I paid the fee, then thought about it and decided to call to see if this is their usual practice.
I called as though I was a new customer just inquiring about using their services. I was told that they can come diagnose my A/C for $98.50, and that this amount would be applied towards the repair, if I declined to do the repair, I would have to pay $98.50. Then I asked what happens if you come out, service my unit then it stops working within a year of the service date. I was told that if they need to came back out anytime within that year, I would be charged a reduced rate of $64.00. So why was I paying $181 every year? Not only that, why was I charged $98.50 for the service call? I am waiting on a call from the manager to discuss this but i doubt that I get a call! I will update whatever the final result ends up being.
Until then, BUYER BEWARE!
