Uzi and his crew were great. I needed a new water heater and Uzi was very patient explaining the difference between a standard and tankless water heater. When I made my decision, installation was quick and clean. It's nice to know there is a trustful, kind and very capable plumber in the area. Pricing was good as well. Thank you Uzi!

Be warned... I had a number of concerns about switching from a tank to tankless water heater. Our tank had an auto circulation pump on it which meant that our master bathroom had instant hot water. When the pump was manually turned off, it would take upwards of 2 minutes just for hot water to reach the bathroom.

My concern in going with tankless was that we'd be waiting almost 2 minutes for hot water in our master bathroom. Uzi assured us it would not be the case and that the new Navien tankless system came with an auto circulation pump similar to what we had on the tank system.

The other concern we had was around condensation from the tankless. Uzi placed the condensation pipe right at the top of our driveway. He assured us the tankless would rarely have any condensation dripping on the driveway and that it wouldn't be a problem.

Uzi assured us both of these concerns would not be an issue and that everything would work well. This couldn't be further from the truth! In the attached photo, you can see what 2 months of condensation has done to our driveway! There literally isn't a time during the day that we don't have water coming down our driveway. It looks terrible and it's now starting to ruin the pavers! I'm now having to install a condensate pump to redirect the condensation to another area of the yard. I had suggested this to Uzi from the start of the project but again, he assured me the condensation would not be an issue.

The other point about the tankless having a circulation pump and it behaving similar to our old tank system is also just not true (as confirmed by Navien on the phone). If we want the circulation pump working all the time, it means the gas needs to be running non-stop. This would use more gas than our tank system and thus defeating the purpose of going with a tankless! Uzi tried selling us on the fact that the pump has some built-in AI to figure out when to activate the pump to ensure you have hot water when you usually use it most. Again, as confirmed by Navien, this might work if you have 1 person living in a house and take a shower around the same time every day. It doesn't work in most family home applications.

If I were to do this job again, I would definitely have installed another tank-based water heater system. There are great applications for tankless systems. Mine was just not one of them.

Uzi and crew saves the day! My old water heater sprung a bad leak. LA Galaxy and crew showed up the next day and within a few hours I have a tankless water heater. They are no nonsense and get to work right a way. His crew removed the old water heater. It has been over a week and this new tankless water heater is working perfectly.

LA Galaxy Plumbing is exceptional as far as I am concerned. The owner, Uzi is smart, very reasonable, honest, and has integrity. They did 2 separate jobs for me, and the work was done expertly, competently, and at a fair price. The first job involved a gas pipe leak I had in my backyard that services my Pool Heater. I had 3 other plumbers come out before Uzi and they all wanted a fortune for the repair, which would have destroyed my backyard. Uzi came out, analyzed the situation, and fixed the problem as efficiently as possible at a very reasonable price. They had to dig a trench in yard and had to remove some artificial turf; but, they put everything back as though nothing happened. Another time, my hot water heater went out. I got some bids to replace it, but Uzi convinced me to get a Tankless Hot Water Heater. He quoted me a great price, and he installed the best model possible. He advised me to call the Gas Company for a rebate, and because he installed the best model, I got the highest rebate back. Again, all of the work done was impeccable and they left the job site cleaner than when they started. LA Galaxy/Uzi is a great company and having them to call is a great asset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally found a plumber I really like and completely trust. Uzi did a great job when I needed him to do it and at a fair price. He closely supervised the job to make sure it was done right. He really knows his business.

I had Uzi install a tankless water heater and he did an amazing job. It was done quickly, professionally and beautifully! The way he places things and makes it look is such a relief. This caliber of work is hard to find, he's an artist!

Okay, here's the bad..., he's not cheap, HOWEVER, his work is THE BESt and let's be honest, do you want cheap when it comes to your plumbing? You can hire other plumbers but I guarantee their level of work won't compare. Not only does he do it right the first time but he does it better than anyone else.

Trust me, I'm picky and the fact that he can make feel this good about his work is a true testament to his expertise.

Uzi and his crew has been our go to for any plumbing work at my house for many years. Uzi is responsive, fair, punctual, courteous and will not push any work you do not need. My sister and my brother in law recommended Uzi to us and they too have been using them for even longer. We highly recommend Uzi and his crew for any work large and small.
