First let me state I am setting in my brand-new home that was build last year in 2022 with NO air. Thank GOD it's not July agai! I've contacted this company multiple times during this year for my HVAC system. I currently have a warranty repair in with the builder DR Horton and they too have been calling this company to get this issue resolved for a repair completed for my blower motor. This is the third repair for my a/c system within the first which is BULLSHIT. I should not be having these types of problems within my first year! So, I posted in my neighborhood Facebook page regarding this issue to vent to my neighbors and come to find out that there are 2 other neighbors in my subdivision who have experienced similar issues with their HVAC units installed by L & S Mechanical. BEWARE of L& S Mechanical. Every time I call, I'm put on hold, so I ask to speak to a supervisor which has been somewhat helpful to a point. When I call, I hear the same story. Your part has been on back order, and they are waiting for the manufacturer, Carrier to ship! No ship date as of yet. Because I have called repeated times, I guess the supervisor is feeling sorry for my situation and has sent messages to her warehouse and installer team to see if they can get an installer in Harrington Trails (Another neighborhood of DR Horton) to check in their inventory homes for a blower motor that has the same tonnage as a temporarily fix until mines comes in! I am pissed that I paid over 300K for a brand-new home and the HVAC system is a damn lemon! I am sick of calling these people and as of today I am crafting an email to FOX 26NEWs and ABC13 in Houston to bring attention to this bullshit! Through my social media post in my neighborhood, I found out that the installers are NOT installing the fan speed correctly on these blower motors. Each install needs to be triple checked when installing the motor to ensure it's set for proper tonnage /CFM. The company has a problem with the quality of work point blank simple and I'm calling their asses out! Period. In my eyes they really do not care about taking care of residential customers because they get paid through DR Horton the builder. They bid on a job with DR. Horton and they get paid based on the number of homes they complete. Simple math. So as of today, the part I need has not arrived at L & S Mechanical and I was told that it could be several weeks, but the crazy thing is if it was installed properly, I wouldn't be experiencing this bull shit in the first fucking place. #FACTS I am not the only one experiencing issues with their quality of work.

I get told by my plumber there will be no trip charge, and then I get a call for collection of trip fee since warranty is out. Just wanted my toilet leak fixed on the first visit. Now I'll be going somewhere else for EVERYTHING not covered under their "warranty." Of which, we've had many warranty claims due to shoddy work to begin with. And then the claims process is such a drain and their agents are rude and put off. Bye!

Run away from this company.
I have a new home with L&S plumbing done.
My home was my builder's first project and the next project he switched HVAC company. No wonder why.
For two years I had 3 leaks at the same spot and still leaking.
The certified plumber put the blame on the builder for leaking while the leaking is coming from the bathtub draining pipe apparently. He didn't even tear down the ceiling and inspect the area but concluded the leaking was coming from the faucet inside of the wall. He must have some sort of see through ability. The warranty is expired while playing blaming game for months so they need to bill for the repair.
What's even the worst is customer service. Jenna will yell and hang up on you.

The guys are very dependable and courteous. We call them with all our plumbing needs and they let's take care of us. Will use them time and again! Love that they call 30 minutes head so I can be at work and not have to sit and wit!

L&S Plumbing did the original plumbing work in our slab. We had a major water leak in the slab and when the repairs were made, a 3/4" copper pipe revealed that it had been hit by a tool weakening the pipe. Whoever caused the damage was evidently aware and tried to patch repair the pipe with duct tape. L&S admitted to doing the work but refused to take responsibility for the resulting damage of an unprofessional, deceitful job.

I bought a plantation home and 1 month after the 1st year warranty the shower facet stopped working. I'm not able to turn off my water. I called L&S who installed the facet and they wouldn't come out and fix their flawed hardware. They did give me the hardware information. New home facets shouldn't fail after 13 months unless they were installed wrong.

They'll do and say anything to avoid providing you your warranty.
They won't give me my replacement water heater unit that was installed by them from the beginning.
I called the heater manufacture and was told I'm entitled for a brand new unit but this company refused to give it to me they tried to sell it to me in full price.
The wise party was I have three small children without hot water and they tried to schedule for replacement (even I agreed to pay full price) many days later.
Very dishonest company. Please stay away.

Im giving this company 1 star only because of the nice guy who came to my home. I'd like to give him a 5 for his service alone, but unfortunately it's a package deal. From the initial phone call to request service, my initial impression was poor. The woman who answered my husband's call was extremely rude and continued to talk over him as he tried to get help. He clearly explained the problem with our hot water heater and instead of advising him to try cutting the damn thing off and on, she booked the $125 visit. When the gentleman arrived, he resolved our issue in less than 5 minutes by cutting the less than three year old water heater off and back on. He even called in and asked if they could waive the fee. After discussion, I was told a reduced fee of $79. Hey, a little is better than nothing right? Well, my excitement quickly disappeared when she then came back and told me to pay the $125. As a long-time employee of a company that has to "roll trucks" for service calls, I understand the concept of a fee, but $125, when even the plumber thinks it should be waived, is excessive. I give this business "the finger" for being rude and inflexible with their consumers. I will never use this company again. One of many reasons why customer service is an oxymoron.

L&S installed a State Select 80 gal water heater in our new build home, with a 6 year warranty. It leaked after 3 years and needed replacement, still under warranty, it cost us 250.00 to install the same kind with a new 6 yr warranty. 3 years later this new one burned out and leaked and we needed a replacement. 5 days later, still without hot water, L&S decided they would charge us 500.00 for labor and install the same type again. I spoke with people who were not part of L&S who said this was a very poor water heater. Also Home Depot and consumer reports both DID NOT recommend this brand. L&S wanted us to know they are NOT a service company. If they install water heaters with a warranty, they are a service company whether they accept the responsibility or not. They say they install in new homes only. Go figure, the new home owners may well experience what we did. We threw the towel in and went to Home Depot for a Rheem with a 12 year warranty, cost and labor for $750.00. I consider L&S type of customer service as low integrity. I would not recommend L&S to anyone.
