Terrible attitudes. Paid over 500.00 for a new sink installation and had to then pay another plumber to fix the problem created with the drain pipe attached costing me another 300.00~~~!!

We had a leak in our first floor ceiling. Called L&G and they stated the leak was old even though the leak was damp, calked a couple of areas in the bathroom above and charged me $160 and left. I drew lines around the leak, and the leak expanded on the ceiling and called them out a second time, no charge, and stated the leak is old.

After even further expansion the third time they came out, I asked them to take the ceiling down, and they did not do anything and left after charging me another $160.00.

Called Presidential Plumbing and they came over and confirmed by touching the ceiling that the ceiling is damp took apart a small square and found black mold. After mold remediation they came back and resolved the pin hole leak in the ceiling.

I called L&G and explained the situation and they were unapologetic, and when I asked for sometime of refund they stated they would look into it.

An excellent and professional job on a variety of faucet installations and older pipe fittings and replacements. They also have a respect for your space and for older New England homes, which is rare in tradespeople nowadays who seem to have a prejudice that Vintage = Bad, and Brand New = the only Good. During the recent cold snap we had a pipe burst. I left messages with about 10 plumbers and he was the only one to call back. He gave me some advice over the phone, and came out in a few days, just like he said he would. He gave us a specific time and called when he was running an hour late. Ended up spending about 4 hours fixing a total of 5 pipes. Would definitely use again!

Can't believe my septic system is hooked up and working. So pleased with Bill and Jim for coming when needed, and doing a thorough job. Bill even took steps to minimize the disruption by using a different type of toilet and for shifting it so as not to break up a cement floor. To say I am grateful is an understatement. Bill was incredibly patient and timely where my construction dudes were slow and delayed. Thank you.

Tom - a co-owner of the business - is one of the most diligent, efficient, and PATIENT men I've ever met. My boyfriend and I lost heat in our condo (during one of those balmy subzero days), and we called L&G around 9:30 a.m. Fortunately, we were at the top of the short list and he arrived in less than an hour. But here's the jaw-dropper: our finicky heat took over SIX hours to kick back on...and Tom stayed until it did. Granted, he left twice (for about 45 minutes apiece) to attend to other clients, but to devote an entire day's work to ensure the first call was answered and resolved is stunning. I can't recommend him highly enough!
