We had work done after our heater stopped working. The response time was less than 24 hours. They immediately found the problem and we had heat within a couple of hours. Employees are professional, courteous and work was completed with a reasonable time.

I've heard from others that they used to be a great business. I've also heard from others that they've gone downhill in recent years. My experience proves the later correct. Had what was thought to be a bad condensation pump replaced during the first visit. The original problem of water leaking out from my HVAC continued. Second visit consisted of the guy resetting a switch in the pump. Problem continued over the weekend. Called their office the following Monday to inform them of the problem and was actually asked by the receptionist ""what are you wanting us to do? Can't you just turn off the air conditioning?"" Upon telling her to fix my damn problem that I have paid $300 for, she connects me with the guy who failed to fix the issue the two prior visits. He then tells me that it was an electrical issue and that I need to call an electrician. Called Mattex for a second opinion and they sent a guy that afternoon who found the problem to be a clogged drainage pipe. Also told me that I likely replaced a good condensation pump. LD wouldn't return my calls. Moral of the story.....LD Mechanical sucks, they're lazy, and they won't have you in their best interest. Don't use them!

Had a negative experience in the past with them, but thought I'd give them another chance. Called them 4 weeks ago to have a cracked drip pan on AC unit in the attic fixed. We're supposed to show up and no one did. Called again. No call back, then 2 days later someone shows up and says, ""oh, I don't climb much anymore. I'll have to put an order in for someone else to take care of that. That was 2 weeks ago and haven't heard a thing. Terrible customer service. Never again.
