I have several rentals and have used LA Hydro-jet for years, my trusted plumber who stopped doing rooter service recommended them. I was happy until my last two calls for service, the call today caused me to permanently erase their number from my contacts and write this review. They have started overbooking themselves so much they show up hours after the window they provide, in todays case they never showed. I called the after hours service last night and got a message back saying I am confirmed for 11am-2pm the next day and to call if I need to reschedule. The next morning at 10am I called to ask them to give me a 1/2 hour heads up before arrival. They said I didn't call back to confirm and they cancelled my appointment. I explained the voicemail said i was confirmed but the best they could do was to give me a new window 2-6pm. At 5:30pm I called for an ETA, I was told the technician will call me. No one called. At 8:15 I called again and was told I will get a call w/in 15-20 minutes. I didn't. I called the operator back and cancelled my appointment. Wish I had called a more reliable company to begin with I was now stuck trying to find another plumber to come at 9pm on a Sunday! Wish LA Hydro-Jet had just told me they are too busy to get to me instead of keeping me waiting.

I called this company to come out to my house to clear my outside drains. With all the recent rains, our outside drains had backed up. We had done some work on our own and determined roughly where the backup was taking place. They sent out a worker, he worked for an hour. He said got through once and pulled out some roots. Then he said he couldn't get through anymore and that the pipe must be broken and that I would have to call someone else to come and repair the pipe. He couldn't give me a recommendation on who to call. They charged me $195 to do absolutely nothing. I can't recommend them as I didn't feel they really wanted to fix the problem. I read where other people had them drop a camera down. This guy did not such thing. Don't waste your money. Find someone else.

This company came out this morning in the pouring rain and tried to fix our drain issues. After working for over an hour they were unsuccessful because the pipes underneath were broken. They were apologetic about not being able to fix the problem and when we asked what the charge was, they said no charge. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

This is my second time working with this company on the recommendation of my contractor, and it was an incredibly frustrating ordeal both times. I called on a Saturday, and they were closed for a holiday party. Fine, great. Everyone should get to have holiday parties. I called on a Sunday, and not only was their availability limited, but they'd be charging overtime because it's Sunday. So, instead, I scheduled an appointment on Monday between 12-3, and took that time out of my day. I called at 1.30 to check the ETA, and they said I was scheduled between 2-4, (pretty sure that that's not true, but I've been wrong before). So I called again at 3.30, same question, I was told it would be closer to 4.30-5, oh and also did anyone tell you that our rates increased? I had to take a break because my husband was trying to solve this issue over text, which was decidedly not helpful. So I called back one more time, and this time it would be closer to 5.30, and I had to remind them that they needed my credit card info. They finally, FINALLY finished the job around 6.

The last time I worked with them, two years ago, it was the same runaround, scheduled in the afternoon, and the tech didn't even show up at my house until 9 pm. 9 PM!! I also never received a courtesy call during that debacle. Neither time was I offered any kind of help or discount, either. Not everyone has the luxury of waiting around for days to get their pluming fixed. Not everyone has the luxury to schedule their whole day around a service that can't even be bothered to let you know they won't be on time for. By the time my guy was on his way, this company send a text... to my husband. Who is in Germany. I spent all day playing phone tag with them and they couldn't even get my number right? How?!

Whatever is going on internally with this business, they really need to get their sh*t together. The work itself was fine and fast the people I talked to on the phone were very nice and doing their best, but my god. If you schedule a window of time, it is your responsibility, as a business, to not only stick with that window, but to also let your client know that a change has taken place. Don't hire them and if you do, do not trust their availability window. I don't know how a business like this continues to function with such awful service.

THE BESTTTTT SERVICE EVER! They didn't even need to come into my home to get five stars from me. Literally. He helped me with my issue right over the phone! What a miracle. My gold earring went down the drain and soon as I heard it ""clink"" I turned off the faucet in the bathroom sink. I panicked and called them right away, and their representative told me what to do step-by-step over the phone then, 'wallah' out spilled my diamond earring into the bucket under the drainage pipe line, underneath my sink. I couldn't have been more pleased with being helped with this issue. Thanks!

This plumber was the recommended company through my landlord. We scheduled a few days in advance to fix an issue with the plumbing attached to our washer unit.

Just want to warn others about our experience with scheduling. I stayed home from work to be at the house for an 8-11am window in which the company scheduled a technician to arrive. When no one arrived from 8-11am, we had to chase them down for updates. There were no courtesy calls on their part. Finally, the technician arrived at 4:30 pm. That's more than 5 and a half hours after the ending of the timeframe we originally scheduled. When I lightheartedly asked the technician why he was so late, he said he was given the wrong address (that was a few houses down) pretty laughable excuse for being 5.5 hours late. The technician was nice enough though.

If we have the choice, we will not be using this company again. If they had good customer service I wouldn't mind the tardiness as much, but they didn't even bother to reach out.

I'm very dissatisfied with this vendor. They came to inspect a house sewer line that I was in escrow around and stayed for 15 minutes, claimed (incorrectly or at least disputedly) that a pipe was broken as justification for not doing what was asked, and then charged me 250$. The report did not make any sense nor was it written legibly. And when I asked now for them to come back they are attempting to charge another 250$. Don't ever use this service!
